A mansion standing in the heart of Pennsylvania, a symbol of excellence of Edwardian architecture. The house of Eleazar.
Eleazar was moving around the great hall of his mansion restlessly, he never failed to do something in his reign of seventeen centuries and is in no mood to accept this.
"Eleazar!" Charles called his name as soon as he ran to the hall after receiving a summon from him at midnight.
"She has no blood, I can't touch her," Eleazar said, frowning at Charles.
Charles, a man in his sixties, is a Shaman he has been working for him since the last four decades.
"For touching her you've to give sacrifice," he replied, gazing at Eleazar who still seemed furious.
"My blood….you've seemed to be mistaken Mate!" Eleazar continued, moving to him.
"I know my blood will link her with me," the glass of the houses broke as his voice thundered in the hall.
Charles gasped, gazing around, and he continued again bowing his head.
"I'm sorry if it seems so, but your blood is the only thing which gives you enough power to touch her," Charles replied, staring at the floor.
"You knew it...If you fooled me, you'd be the first to see the grim reapers…," Eleazar said, meeting his gaze, and extending his arm in the air for him to take his blood.
~~~~~~
"Call Joseph, I've something to catch up with his brother, who's not answering my calls," Joseph was summoned by Eleazar, as his brother went missing with Eleazar's blood, all day.
"Did you call for me?" a middle aged man asked, bowing his head in front of him, while Eleazar was sitting on a wooden throne covered in red velvet.
"Joseph, where is Charles, my people couldn't find him anywhere?" Eleazar asked, as he moved his Icy stare out the windows of the hall, as it was dark already.
"He is at home," Joseph replied, squinting.
"Your brother has something more precious than his life, and yet he's home," Eleazar continued, with nose in the air.
"Either you dumb, or you're just so brave."
"H-he...is home," he stammered, avoiding eye contact.
"You should've told me the truth when I was being nice," Eleazar said, teleporting to him with a red face, and lift him in the air holding his neck.
Joseph gasped, tapping over his hand as his neck bones started to crack.
"You've a large family, don't be resilient, " Eleazar mumbled, letting him go, Joseph fell hardly on the floor with a thud.
"He's at goblins old house," he replied, coughing as he was trying to breathe.
"How dare you lie to me in the first place?" Eleazar said, as he looked at him.
"Kill him, I've some matters to attend to," Eleazar replied, leaving for the Winter's old house built in Alaska he burned himself before they were not linked.
"Charles," he announced, teleporting outside a ruin, whose woods were half burned and covered in snow.
"Mate, I'm here for you," Eleazar mumbled.
"How dare you touch me?" he said, gazing at Charles, who was standing by Winter's body holding a knife in his hand, which was under a circle drowned with blood, and a fire was burning at the centre of it.
"You're inviting your death," Eleazar replied, with red eyes.
"You can't cross the circle and you know that," Charles continued, sitting beside winter's.
"The link is complete, and now you'll die with her too," Charles replied, meeting directly his gaze as he noticed Eleazar, and slit her throat with the knife.
"Stop," Eleazar screamed, holding his neck tightly, his shirt turned red as it was painted with blood along with his hand.
"I'm sorry," Charles mumbled, as moved the knife in the air aiming at her heart.
"Enough," Eleazar groaned, moving his hand in the air towards the window of that partially burnt home.
"Uugh…," Charles screeched, as he flew out of the window of her room screeching until he fell on the road until he fell on the road.
"You can't die," he mumbled, trying to slide her body out of the circle lifting his hands towards her and started to curl his fingers when groaning.
"Finally!" he mumbled, as she came out the circle.
~~~~~~
"Charles, what should we do?" Eleazar asked, Charles. He was kneeling ahead of him in the great hall, chained in rusty iron shackles.
"I've done my job, and now with no regrets, I'm ready to die," Charles replied.
"Yes you can…. but how about your brother die instead of you," Eleazar said, raising his eyebrow.
"This was not his mistake."Charles cried.
"Do you know how it feels when someone keeps operating on you without an anesthesia for eleven hours straight….Oh! Because of you, I felt every syringe which touches her body, and I can't even kill her now, Why? I'll die with her too," Eleazar replied.
"So now mate! Tell me what should I do to reverse it?" Eleazar asked, meeting his gaze.
"I can't," Charles replied, nodding his head down.
"Bring his son too," Eleazar announced to his guards.
"Wait...wait….," Charles stopped, in his creaking voice.
"You know the answer already, the day she'll betray god, she'll no longer be special..,"
"And then it… will break," Eleazar said, cutting him.
"Find everything about that girl, I'll manage this situation myself," he continued.
"His brother is already dead... keep his son alive. If he's wrong then he must have to give me a more reliable answer next time," Eleazar said, leaving.
"Don't do this, let me go….I'm not lying Eleazar!" Charles screeched, after him.
