"Bye mom, bye dad, bye Landon, have fun!" I yelled out the door.
My family was going on a 5 day ski trip in Vermont, and they would have to drive all the way there. Luckily, I didn't like skiing (I was rather bad at it), so I didn't have to go. I was so happy that I wouldn't have to sit next to my grumpy 15 year old brother for 4 hours.
It was finally Christmas break and I had the house all to myself... well, not for long.
Although my parents did tell me I couldn't have anyone but Ada over, I couldn't bear to go a whole week with out seeing Cedric.
I had invited him over the night before, making sure my owl Rosalind sent him the invitation, since if I called him my parents would be able to hear me.
Cedric would be coming around noon, so I had just enough time to prepare. Since it was less than a week until christmas, I decided to make us some christmas cookies for "lunch". As I began to prepare the batter, I decided to open the curtain, just to take a look outside.
A fresh layer of snow hugged the ground as white crystals fell from the sky, almost seeming to dance as they did so.
Just as I put the cookies out of the oven, I heard the loud cracking sound of Cedric apparating outside, so I put on my slippers and rushed to greet him.
He was all bundled up and flakes of snow fell into his mousy brown hair, his cheeks rosy from the cold. I ran up and jumped into his arms, peppering his cold face with kiss after kiss. The force caused him to drop his bag and he wrapped his arms around me, soon bringing me into a longing and hungry kiss.
"There's no one looking at us from behind right?" he questioned, his words muffled by the kiss.
"Nope we're all alone for the night." I smirked.
He carried me inside and plopped me on the counter, quickly taking his jacket off and discarding it on the floor. He then rammed his lips back into mine, desperate for more.
I groaned softly into the kiss, and he soon followed as I gripped his muscular back. It was the kind of kiss that seemed to go on forever, but neither of us wanted it to end.
"I love you...so much." he grunted in his gravelly voice between kisses.
"I have cookies in the oven..."
He pulled away, confused.
"Okay...?"
"I need to get them out." I explained, embarassed by the awkwardness of the previous moment.
He nodded his head and helped me get them out of the oven, stealing a bite of one soon after.
We looked into eachothers eyes once again, and began to slowly inch closer to one another, the passion of our previous kiss rekindling.
He leaned in so carefully, breathing heavily yet so softly, as he looked into my eyes so deeply, it felt as if he was looking into my soul. He lips then get so close to mine, so close that I feel as if I can no longer feel my legs anymore. The only thing I could feel in that moment was him -- not cold or warmth, feelings or emotions -- simply him. He then whispers,
"Please just let me kiss those perfect lips forever."
"What's stopping you?"
He presses slow, sloppy kisses against my lips as his hands trailing up and down my sides, tracing lazy patterns onto my skin. His lips feel so soft and comforting, inviting in a sense. His breathing is heavy as he groans what seems like hundreds of "I love you" 's softly into my mouth.
Just as his hands venture lower, Milya comes bolting in, startling us, which forces us to break the kiss.
Good timing, Milya.
I giggled and grabbed the plate of cookies as me and Cedric began to walk to the living room to watch a movie. I nuzzled up into him and pressed a kiss against his neck, soon bringing my attention to the movie.
By the time we were done with the movie we decided it would be a good idea to go down to Diagonal Alley to walk around. Ada called me to let me know she was with George in the book shop, so that would be the first place we went.
We quickly bundled up and apparated straight to Diagon Alley.
Cedric held his hand in mine as we walked over to the store to meet up with the couple.
The sign on the bright red door stated open, so we held hands and walked right in.
"I wouldn't be surprised if George and Ada are in one of the aisles snogging." I joked as we entered the empty shop.
"Ada! I'm here!" I shouted.
The tall ginger and his short girlfriend exited what appeared to be the graphic novel section, pink in the face and looking awfully disheveled.
"Oh! You guys are here. Um, be right over." Ada stammered.
"Told you." I whispered into Cedric's ear.
He snorted, understanding my previous statement.
The two came over to meet us near the entrance and George gladly showed us around, making sure to show us his favorite books in the shop.
"...you know, it's so beautifully written..." he would describe for all of them, his eyes wide with excitement.
I was happy that Ada had found someone, because I had never seen her look at someone like the way she looked at him -- and just by the way that George would talk about her to me made me know that he thought she was the most beautiful girl in the world.

After browsing around for a while, we said goodbye and bought a several other items from the plethora of shops. Cedric, of course, bought as many chocolate cauldrons as his arms could hold, and then decided to head to lunch.
As soon as we entered the lively restaraunt, we were greeted by the inviting scent of coffee and cinnamon. We then chose a table to dine at, and sat down.
A pink haired waitress came walking over to our table with a wide smile on her face.
"What can I get for you today, handsome?" she asked Cedric with a cheeky wink, biting her lip soon after.
This is a joke.
My nostrils flared and my vision only foucused on her. Who did she think she was to flirt with him directly in front of me?
My face grew warm as my hands balled into fists, my knuckles turning white.
"Um, a water for me and my girlfriend would like a butter beer to start off with, thank you." he replied politely.
As he said this he wrapped his arm around my shoulder as she glared at me, speechless that he rejected her advance.
"Lovely." she said with a forced smile.
As soon as she was gone he chuckled and held me close, kissing my neck.
"You're cute whe you're jealous." he grinned into my skin.
As soon as she came back with our drinks, I noticed that she had unbuttoned her shirt slightly and leaned down to place the drink in front of Cedric in an attempt to get his eyes to lead to her chest.
He payed no attention to her unless it was to thank her.
He is such a gentlemen.
As soon as our meals came out, Cedric excused himself from the table.
"I'll be right back, baby." he reassured as he pecked my cheek.
He grabbed his coat and headed out.
What was he plotting?
I waited patiently for him as I ate my lunch, glaring at the duck lipped slag of a waitress we had. Words couldn't describe how infuriated I was.
Just as I had finished my butter beer, the pink haired girl came prancing over, looking awfully smug.
"Aw, I see you got stood up, huh?" she asked, fake pity radiating right off of her.
"I could tell he didn't even like you, tsk." she sighed.
"In fact-" I began as I stood up from my seat, but as soon as I did so, Cedric came back.
In his arms was a beautiful bouquet of blue flowers, a giant lopsided grin plastered across his face. He came over to the table and sat down next to me, placing the flowers into my arms.
"Are you here for the check?" he asked the waitress.
She sputtered, confused.
"Um, yes. I'll be right back." she stated as she walked out towards the kitchen.
"What are these for?" I inquired, my cheeks hurting from smiling.
"How amazingly beautiful you are, my love." he gushed.
I chuckled with a bashful grin, flattered by his chivalry.
Just as she had promised, the waitress came back with the check, and placed it on the table with a wink, soon walking away.
Written on the bill in red pen was her number, stating, "call me, good-looking. I never got your name."
Cedric left the money on the table, grabbed my hand, and lead me out the door.
He could tell I was annoyed by the whole situation, so he stopped in front of the restaraunt.
"Don't worry about her, doll. I bought you flowers because you are truly the most drop-dead gorgeous person, inside and out. Just know that you are the only one I will ever want, forever and always." he reassured.
"I don't deserve you." I sighed, pecking his lips soon after.

By the time we got back, the snow had piled up to nearly a foot deep. Dusk was drawing near, and the snow just kept falling.
"Hey Allison?"
"Hm?"
"Do you wanna build a snowman?" Cedric quieried, his face lit up with excitement.
"Sure." I chuckled.
We got into our gear and headed outside.
"It's so pretty out!" I gasped, turning around in a circle to take it all in.
"Not nearly as pretty as you..." he grinned.
I laughed and pulled him into a hug, cherishing his sweet yet musky warm scent.
He pulled me in for a kiss, taking his time to savor my lips. It was so wonderful and passionate to kiss in the snow, keeping one another warm, our hot breath fanning against eachothers cold faces.
"Jump." he muttered into the kiss.
I jumped and he caught me by my legs, holding me up and spinning me around in a circle.
He ran towards a large open space and dropped me in the snow, running the other direction as fast as he could.
"Cedric Diggory!" I yelled at him, enveloped in the snow.
I could hear his booming laugh from across the yard, and he soon came back over to me.
"You're so mean." I pouted jokingly.
"If I were mean, would I do this." he laughed, kissing my lips once again.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
We decided to start building the snowman as soon as it started to get dark out.
Cedric started with the bottom snowball, as our goal was to make it was big as possible. He rolled the snow as big could and just left it where it was.
I then made the middle and the top, layering those onto the gigantic snowball that Cedric has made.
Once that was assembled, Cedric pulled out a red cap from his pocket and placed it on the snowman's head.
"See, now it has personality." he marveled at our so called "masterpiece".
As soon as we were done, it was time for dinner and we were absolutely freezing, so we headed back inside.
Milya was glad we were back with her as her tail was wagging profusely, and she nuzzled up with us on the couch by the fireplace.
For dinner, we decided to make some soup since it would warm us up some more. We ate our soup very quickly because we were absolutely starving.
I finished the last that was in my bowl and looked at Cedric. He was confused as I ran to the kitchen.
"Stay out here! I have a surprise for you." I yelled from the kitchen.
I ran to the kitchen and gathered all of the ingredients to make some hot chocolate.
I layed out cocoa powder, milk, marshmallows, and whipped cream on the counter. I dumped the milk and chocolate into a pot and mixed them till they combined.
I then poured it into two mugs and topped it off with some whipped cream and marshmallows.
I met Cedric in the living room with the cups and sat on his lap, soon covering us both with blankets snuggling up close to him.
We talked for what felt like hours about anything and everything, and did not stop until it was time for bed.
I headed upstairs and started to get ready to go to sleep. I heard some rustling in the guest bedroom and walked over to it.
"What are you doing?" I asked.
"I'm unpacking." he answered.
"You don't think you're sleeping in here do you?" I chuckled.
He smiled and zipped his bag back up. He followed me to my room and placed his bag back down.
"If your parents find out I'm blaming you."
"What parents?" I smiled, bringing him into a kiss.
