When I opened my eyes and all I could see was clear blue skies. For a few moments I laid there. I just enjoyed the gentle breeze and the grass I was laying on. It all felt so relaxing.
"I swear, only you could relax like this after getting electrocuted until your unconscious," Gil said laughing.
"Well what else am I gonna do? Be stressed about what already happened?" I asked sarcastically. "So back inside my soul huh? Is this where I'm going to be every time I'm not awake?"
"Yes and no. You should be able to choose if you want to come here or not, especially since time moves much faster here than outside in the real world."
"How much faster?"
"I'd say your body still hasn't hit the floor fully yet."
I was at a loss for words, if what he did as saying was true. Then maybe using my soul as a training ground was a better idea then I could have imagined.
"Okay, I have two questions I need you to answer as specifically as you can," I said to him, making sure to lock eyes.
"Of course I'll answer to the best of my ability," he says grinning, realizing he may have won me over.
"How long until my body fully hits the ground and could you forcibly make me wake back up?"
"In the outside would, three second or less, in here, that's about three hours or less. And well. I could try. But I can't say for certain."
"Well, you figure out a way to, while I figure out a way to win that fight," I said as I started smiling.
I whistled over Lupa and Fen, they were to be my training partners. Just learning what I could currently transform into wasn't enough, I had to learn how to use my transformations smart, I had to become a fighter. Not only that, but my whip, I chose it and therefore had to learn how to use it.
Several times while I was struggling Gil would try to give me advice as all my powers were either powers he or somebody he knew once had.
"You're like a new born with these. You're learning how to change your body into parts you've never had, it won't be easy," are all the kinds of things he kept saying.
Along with that he gave me a list of four animals I should get used to transforming into, along with my skill I acquired before. Mismatch was apparently very useful. It allowed me to transform things attached to me into beady along with being able to transform into parts of multiple beasts at once. Allowing me to make different combinations in a way gave me unlimited potential. I just had to be able to handle the strain of it.
Lupa and Fen also seemed happy that I was spending time with them, even if it was just us sparring. I'll need to find a place to really let them outside, they deserve it.
At first I only saw them as monsters I could call upon to do my bidding, but now that I was spending some time with me. They were more like a mix between old hunting hounds and domesticated dogs the old humans used to have, just these guys also were on fire.
Lupa was a sweetheart and whenever we weren't sparring she would want me to scratch under her chin. Fen on the other hand was super playful and would constantly grab onto my chain and want to have a tugging match. Both of them were really cute, and if made me feel bad for leaving the scar over Fens right eye.
After a while of training Gil came back over to me with a serious but happy look on his face.
"Do you like good news, or bad news first?" He asked me.
"I don't like when people start a conversation like that," I said being nervous because of his wording," but bad then good."
"I was hoping for the other way, but whatever. Bad news, when you wake up, you're still not done being electrocuted, good news, I can wake you up."
"So it's on me to figure it all out?"
"Naturally, you won't grow at all if I spoon feed you the easy way out of everything. Now get ready, cause this may hurt but it'll snap you awake," and no sooner had he said that, that he punched me right in the gut.
I once again felt the pain of the electricity in my right arm, the pain in my gut from being punched, and then hitting the floor.

"Thanks system for the reminder I'm in pain," I said as I stood back up.
"Not done yet? I think I like you," said the red head. I could practically feel both Lyra and Xynthia getting angry.
"For your sake, I wouldn't, but I'll finish this dance with you," I said pulling my whip away from her. "Though, this next move is a show stopper!"
