Once we were geared up we headed inside. As we all looked around there were a couple of 4-way paths that we could take but our captain didn't want to risk splitting us up. We decided to take the east path first which took us in a circle coming out of the north path where we started. That was a bit annoying but hey that's a dungeon for you. This time we took the west path and were confronted by a minotaur. I thought a boss already but compared to the previous bosses we've fought this one didn't have as much health. I hear the captain say that it was a mini-boss. Yes, he was strong but could easily be outnumbered. We split into two teams and attacked from two different sides. Once he was defeated we kept moving.
As we made our way further into the dungeon and past numerous mini-bosses we came upon an enormous room bigger than any dungeon I've fought in so far. I hear the captain tell everybody to halt so we could strategize on how to move forward. This enormous room could just be nothing but it could be home to a massive boss. As we all inched our way further into the room the lights all started turning red. The next thing I hear was the captain yelling "HALT!" Everybody stopped dead in their tracks. The next thing that happened nobody was prepared for.
All of a sudden three scythe-wielding demons rose to the ground. They were bigger than any orc or minotaur we had faced before. Each one with ten health bars. Not expecting to face three bosses at once the only idea we had was to try and defeat them one at a time. We all rushed at the first demon and slowly started lowering his health down. After some time we were able to defeat it with no casualties. If having to fight three bosses at the same time was hard now the remaining two bosses gained five more health bars each.
Now that they were tougher to beat we had to think of a new plan but before we could the bosses rushed the group wounding half of the members. I yelled to the captain about what we should do and he said we needed to get the injured away from the fight first. So everybody grabbed an injured ally and rushed them back to the entrance of the room. Knowing the situation that we were currently in I looked at Jin and he knew what I was thinking. We both turned to the captain and said by no means are any of you to leave this spot. He looked at us confused and started wondering what we were up to. I told him to leave the last two bosses to us. As we both start walking away we hear him yelling "this is suicide!"
When Jin and I got far enough away from the group we both used our abilities. The ground started shaking underneath our combined power. We turned and looked at our captain who looked terrified and said we will all make it out alive. Right then we both vanished and reappeared together in between the demons sending them flying to opposite sides of the room. Knowing we had to keep the pressure on them we both rushed them and used our abilities. I used my Reapers Slash scoring a direct hit and Jin used his Angelic Slash both knocking out half of their health bars.
If we didn't take them out at the same time the remaining demon would gain more health. We kept up our assault each leaving the demons with less and less health until they were both down to one health bar. Jin lines his demon up with mine and tells me to use my ability one more time. Knowing what he had in mind I used my Reapers Slash one more time hitting both demons with it. When the dust settled one demon was defeated but the second one barely survived. The demon stands back up and not only replenishing a total of 20 health bars now also changed forms. His horns and muscle structure got bigger and now he was wielding two scythes instead of one.
With a swing of the scythes, he managed to hit us both sending us flying. Just that one hit dropped our health by half. Knowing that we had to do something and fast we both rushed to the center of the room. Once we were together we tried to think of a plan of attack. We both knew that if we didn't end this everybody including ourselves would die. All of a sudden our energy started to merge and Jin looks at me wondering what's going on since when we trained together this didn't happen. I look through my skills real quick and see something that wasn't there before. It was an ultimate skill that only worked if we were together. It was called World of Ruin. I looked over at Jin and said we have to try at least. He nodded in agreement and together we both took to the air.
I took Jin's right hand into mine and we raised our other hands into the air. We gathered both our light and dark energy together into a ball of pure energy. It was pure white with dark energy arcing off of it. Together we sent it hurling at the demon. The demon puts up his scythes to defend against our attack. When our attack connected with him it destroyed everything surrounding it including vaporizing the demon. When he was finally defeated we rushed back over to the team to make sure everybody was okay. Everybody looked scared out of their minds after seeing the power we both possessed. We both reassured them that everything was going to be okay. The captain stood up and thanked us for defeating the demons. He asked why we didn't tell him about our abilities before when we first met. We told him that we were afraid of what he would think. He laughed at us saying that because of our powers we all are getting out of the dungeon alive. Right then he used a teleport stone and we all went back to the guildhall.
Later that day we were back home preparing dinner when we heard a knock at the door. I got up to see who it was and it was the captain. He wanted to give us our reward from the dungeon since we ended up not sticking around afterward. We thanked him for taking the time to visit and said that we would come to visit the guildhall tomorrow. He said that there wasn't any hurry since we didn't have another mission yet. He left and we went back to fixing dinner together. After we finished eating we both took a long bath together and cuddled with each other until we fell asleep.
