Catriona turned and ran out the doors. She made it to the woods and crashed into Rivin and immediately wrapped her arms around him, sobbing. Just then, Aki walked over to them.
Umm, wheres Leviathan at? She asked, her voice quivering in fear.
When Catriona pulled back from Rivin, she had tears streaming down her face.
No Aki whimpered.
Cat, what happened? Rivin demanded.
T-there was a b-bunch of guardsthey c-came out of nowhereLeviathan stopped themand, and, and Catriona sobbed.
Aki collapsed to the ground, weeping.
Catriona calm down and tell us what happened. Rivin said, his voice rising in fear.
Catriona took a deep breath and explained what happened.
Now that they officially had five-thousand people in the rebellion, it was now time to start coming up with a plan of attack. Right now, there was seven people in the room. Rivin, Aki, Catriona, Athos, Blanca, Dante, and Leviathan. They have narrowed it down to two options. To sneak in and wait in town square while two people snuck into a government building and set off the alarm which would gather everyone into the town square where they would make a speech, or the second option, to storm into a government building, guns blazing and order them to set off the alarm.
Either way, it involves the alarm being set off and them making a speech in town square. Aki, Leviathan, and Blanca voted for sneaking in. Dante, Catriona, and Rivin voted for storming in. It was up to Athos, what they would end up doing. He had no clue. On one hand, he knew that sneaking in would be safer but there was also a chance that it wouldnt work because the people who snuck in might get caught.
On the other hand, if they just barrel in, its obviously riskier but it might catch the people in the building off guard and give them an advantage but the people in the Lavaterian government are known for setting traps, so if they take that option, they might be running straight into a trap.
If that happened, all this hard word would have been for nothing. Eventually, Athos made his decision. The seven of them would sneak into the town square, with the other five-thousand rebels in the woods waiting to storm in at a moments notice and have two people sneak into one of the buildings. Those two people would set off an alarm and when everyone has gathered in the square, the seven of them would make a big speech. They were going to train for about two months before they left to go back just in case this led to a war.
Every morning they would eat a healthy breakfast then they would work-out for three hours. In the evening, they would go swimming for an hour, then go running for twenty minutes, then stop for half an hour and rest, then they would resume their training and they would have boxing practice.
Two Months Later, they have been training for a long time now, at least two months, and theyre finally ready. They also finally figured out the perfect plan of attack and everyone has memorized it. After everyone is ready, they say goodbye to Oaken land, hoping that its not the last time that they see it, and then they set off. With this many people, it could take up to a month to get there.
Back in Lavatera, most of the people have forgot about the rebellion because they think that it was just a rumor. Even the people of the government think that it was just a rumor. They arent prepared at all for what about to happen or so the rebels thought.
One Month Later, they finally made it to Lavatera. They werent gonna risk getting caught so they were camping out in the woods near town square. They decided to send Catriona and Leviathan in to set off the alarm. Once they were inside the building, they started whispering to each other. Obviously talking about Aki.
So. Leviathanabout Aki Catriona purred.
Uhhwhat about her? Leviathan asked.
Do you like her? She blurted.
W-WellI think thatw-what I mean is he stuttered.
Say no more, say no more. I got it! She squeaked.
Oh, and you know what else? Catriona asked.
What?
I think Aki likes you.
Wait, really?!?
Yup! She always talks about you, and I saw her notebook. Your name is all over it.
"I didnt know that So, Aki Belinkov likes me
Yup.
Leviathan turned bright red. Catriona told Aki that she knew that Leviathan liked her, and she denied it. She claimed that he was just a friend. Catriona said that if Aki was so sure, she would ask him when they got inside the building. Catriona was right. Leviathan does like Aki.
Leviathan?
Yes?
I think that you should talk to her when we get back outside.
You think so?
Mhmm
Ight. I will.
Come on, we can talk about this later. We have to find the control room and sound the alarm.
Yeah, lets go!
And with that, they went back to searching for the control room. After about fifteen minutes, they found it. They had a walkie with them so that they could communicate with the others who were waiting patiently outside. Once they were in the control room, Leviathan took the walkie and began talking to Rivin, who had the other one.
Rivin, come in.
Im here.
Ok. So, we found the control room and Catriona is looking for the alarm button as we speak.
Good.
We surprisingly didnt have any issues either.

I think it was mainly because they dont know that we are actually going through with the rebellion, so they didnt have any guards posted.
Probably. Oh, by the way, please make sure that you know exactly what a button does before you push it, otherwise, you could push the wrong button and get all of us killed. No pressure.
Leviathan chuckled nervously, Yeah, ya know that when someone says, No pressure, IT ADDS PRESSURE!

Leviathan rolled his eyes, grinning, Yeah yeah whatever.
Leviathan! Catriona whispered.
Hang on, bro. Catriona called for me.

Leviathan hooked the walkie on his belt and walked over to where Catriona was.
Well, did you find something?
Yes, I did. Its the button that sounds the alarm.
How do you know for sure?
Look! she whispered, pointing at a label above the button. It said, In case of emergency, push this.
Believe me now? She asked.
Yep.
Leviathan took the walkie and handed it to Catriona. She pushed the button.
This is Cat, come in.
Did you find it, babe? Rivin asked.
Yes. Were about to push it. Get ready.
Were ready, go ahead.
Alright, see you.
Catriona handed the walkie back to Leviathan.
Are you ready?

They grinned at each other, then Leviathan turned and slammed his palm onto the button. A very loud blaring noise rung out. Now comes the hardest part of their rebellion, and that was to convince the rest of the people in Lavatera to take a stand and fight for their rights. This is NOT going to be easy.
Leviathan and Catriona turned and fled as soon as the alarm went off. They had to get out of the building without getting caught. They were almost to the exit when suddenly, a huge group of guards appeared, almost out of nowhere. Leviathan immediately jumped in front of Catriona and drew his sword.
CATRIONA RUN! he screamed.
IM NOT LEAVING YOU!
YES, YOU ARE! GO NOW!
BUT-
NOW, AND IF IM NOT OUT WITHIN TEN MINUTES, TELL AKI THAT IM SORRY!
YOU CANT-

Aki couldnt believe it. She was sure Leviathan would be one of the people that survived the rebellion. Her heart was broken, all over again. She was laying on the ground, sobbing. Catriona, Rivin, Athos, Blanca, and Dante were sitting in a circle around her, trying to comfort her but it wasnt working. She lost the only man she ever loved; she loves Rivin but their siblings so that doesnt count. They were trying to her to stop crying but she just couldnt.
AkiIm so, so sorry Catriona whispered.
I*sigh* I-its not y-your f-f-fault. Aki managed to say before bursting into tears and full-blown sobs again.
Catriona felt so bad that she pressed her face against Rivins shoulder, to hide her tears.
I LOVED HIM!!! Aki shrieked.
Suddenly, they heard footsteps in the brush, behind them. They all turned and looked that direction to see who it was. To their surprise, they knew the person.
Leviathan? Is that you? Aki squeaked.
Aki. He started.
Before he could finish his sentence, Aki jumped up and tackled him to the ground, sobbing.
OH LEVIATHAN! I THOUGHT YOU WERE DEAD! she screamed in his ear.
He smiled. Then took a deep breath and said this. Aki look at me,
Aki looked down into his eyes. There were tears in them.
What is it?! she cried.
I have to tell you something. He breathed.
What? she asked nervously.
AkiII love you too. He whispered.
Aki immediately pressed her lips to his. She had finally found her soulmate. Leviathan Cross from Elysia was her true love. Rivin cleared his throat loudly, awakening Leviathan and Aki from their trance. They stood up and walked over to the other, hand-in-hand, grinning from ear to ear.
We actually have to get ready to give the speech; everyone will be here in a few minutes. Athos reminded.
Everyone got into their positions and waited till all the townsfolk was in the square. Once they were, the seven of them walked out into the square. As they walked over to the large fountain in the middle of the square, they could hear the gasps, whispers, and murmurs resonating from the crowd. Apparently, the government made a big announcement that Rivin, Aki, Catriona, and Dante were dead; so, this must come as a big surprise to everyone. The seven of the strutted confidently over to the fountain, and once they were over there, Rivin started the speech.
Hello everyone, for the ones that dont know me, my name is Rivin Belinkov. My sister and I were turned in for breaking our pendants. We ran from the police and decided to start a rebellion. We ran to Oaken land and started recruiting people to join the rebellion. Surprisingly, a lot of people joined in and we are here today to talk to you about the government. The government is taking away all our rights. But they are doing it little by little, in hopes that we wont notice what all theyre taking from us. Think about it, first, they take away all food stamps. Then, they take all day care centers. Then, they even take our right to pick who we want to spend our life with. I know some of you ended up with the person you loved, but what about all the people who didnt? I know a lot of you wish that you could pick your soulmates. If you join in our rebellion, you can.
Aki cuts in. Think about it, dont you want to have your name mentioned a hundred years from now, people talking about how you helped fight for your rights. If you do this, your future kids, grandkids, and great grandkids will be able to grow up with happier lives, the lives you shouldve had. Help the future generations of Lavaterians to lead better lives. Be a hero, for me, for you, for your families and future families, be a hero for the rest of the world.
Aki couldn't finish the rest of her speech; she was getting too emotional. But she didn't need to finish her speech, what little she had said, already had a lot of people agreeing. Suddenly, someone ran up to the fountain and climbed to the very top of the little statue that rested on its foundation.
Once they got to the top, they screamed, THEY'RE RIGHT! THE GOVERNMENT IS JUST GOING TO CONTINUE STRIPPING AWAY OUR RIGHTS UNLESS WE DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. SOMEONE HAS TO SAY NO AND REFUSE TO COMPLY! THEY THINK THAT THEY ARE STRONGER THAN US, BUT WE HAVE SOMETHING THEY DONT HAVE, AND THATS FRIENDSHIP AND TRUST. WE ALL WANT WHAT'S BEST FOR OURSELVES AND FOR THE PEOPLE WE CARE ABOUT, THEY DONT. ALL THEY WANT IS MONEY TO STUFF THEIR POCKETS WITH. THEY'RE GETTING WHAT THEY WANT BECAUSE ALL WE HAVE BEEN DOING IS BENDING OVER BACKWARDS FOR THEM! THIS HAS TO STOP TODAY, RIGHT HERE AND RIGHT NOW! I DONT KNOW ABOUT THE REST OF YOU, BUT I AM GOING TO WIN MY RIGHTS BACK, OR DIE TRYING! WHO'S WITH ME?
The square filled with cheers and screams of the people. Then, that person climbed down off the statue and walked up to the seven of them. Dante, Rivin, Aki, and Catriona recognized her instantly. It was the girl Dante was in love with, Samara White. Dante hurried over to her and threw his arms around her.

Dante pulled back and stared at her.
what? he gasped.
I said, anything for you.
What are you saying? He asked, a smile starting to tug at the corners of his mouth.
Samara grinned, I'm saying that I really like you, Dante.
Dante didn't say another word; he just cupped her face in his hands and gently pressed his lips against hers. After a couple of seconds, she deepened the kiss, tangling her fingers in his hair. Dante followed and wrapped one arm around her waist and put his other hand on the back of her neck. The seven of them had everything that they wanted. Rivin had Catriona, Aki had Leviathan, Athos had Blanca, and Dante had Samara. But not everyone gets a happy fairytale ending, do they?
