Chapter 29 - Interrogation

"Finally, she left." Wuying was coming out of his room, hearing the departing steps.

His face froze though, when he spotted an unwelcomed guest. The opposite grinned as she met her targets paling face.

"HELP!" He screamed from his lungs and wanted to flee to where he came from. A hand had grabbed onto his neck, however.

"HOW?!" Wuying was shocked by her fast arrival.

Luo Si closed the distance in an instant, using the basics she had learned by sliding over the even floor. "Class is starting and I think it should be kept private." Her voice was like thunder in Wuying's ears. He was dragged, like hunted prey, into his room.

Clack*

The door closed and a locking sound could be heard. Wuying was thrown on a seat. "Sit, keep quiet and listen to me."

The tomboy did as commanded. He feared the unknown that was going to happen if he refused.

She started. "You might think that I don't know my place and yourself. Knowing nothing as my origin and life is seen poorly in your eyes. But believe me when I say, I have seen many like you. Being born highly and arrogantly step on others as you live your life in bliss. I don't care about your life, but let me tell you, your future is darker than you can think."

Luo Si starred at her student. It was true that she did not know how deep his knowledge and neither did she really care. 'Then again, what can an amoeba possibly know.'

Since she did not know, Luo SI had to start from the very root. Interrogation.

"Do you know what a cultivator is?"

"Of course, I know! Who doesn't know? We are people who want to become strong and live long to become the king and rule over all. Stupid." Wuying snorted. Did this girl take him for a child?

"So, you see yourself as a cultivator?"

"I am already in the second stage. More obvious can the answer not be. And I will surely attain the same rank if not higher than my father. Maybe I will become the king and rule as good as ours. Then I will come and kill you." He only thought the last part.

"Do you think the king is the strongest?"

"He is. He is the king after all. He can move mountains and create rivers at his will. He has learned the Taj Ji Quan, the supreme ultimate technique. All his mighty moves are awesome. And I'm just sitting here, learning that stupid family technique."

"Why do you think Wu Ji Quan is a bad technique?" Luo Si held in a cough and continued the questioning.

"Do you not know how stupid slow that technique is? It is clearly not a fighting technique. It's so much of a shit book that it's called 'without' ultimate for a reason. My brothers say that its only use is to endure a beating. Even you just use it to heal up, but could do nothing in retaliation."

Luo Si did not put his statement into question. For outsiders it really looked like she had taken a beating, unable to do anything against it.

With every question Wuying's tone became more disgusted. 'I knew it. Just listening to her dumb questions makes me puke. She is an idiot, just like uncle Hantian. Like everyone around me.'

Luo Si only nodded her head, coming to a conclusion. "Mhm, this makes things easier."

Wuying had regained his attitude slowly, realizing that he had been the one to answer questions which were normally asked by kids as if he was her teacher and not the other way around. What had he to fear? The contract made it clear that she was the slave and could not hurt her master and must obey.

Even though she had brushed off his command like it was nothing at the beginning. It might have been because the contract had just been formed. At least that was what he believed.

What came out of Luo Si's mouth next set afire his accumulated "I just cannot believe how much of a waste of time your existence is."

"That's it!" He snapped and tightened the hand tattooed with a coin. "BOW!" The imprint glowed up on both arms, but it brought no changes as the assigned tutor only grew colder in her speech.

"Your arrogance already made you unbelievable blind. Your family foundation technique for example. It is a godlike technique, but you don't even see its value. Don't even deny. I have seen seen enough to know your degree of insight. Let alone your qi controlling. Both are basically non-existing.

"I am slightly impressed how you even got to the 2nd level, but that can easily be answered based on your Aristocratic origin. Feed with invaluable resources like a swine."

She changed to the next frail subject. "Your pin is white, which should indicate that you are a possible candidate to inherit your family's throne, right?"

Wuying was in shock of her words but also by the fact that his assumption turned out to be wrong.

"Since you are only a possible inheritor, there are surely others, your siblings. If we rate your chances of succeeding the throne, I would give it a solid 0, just by looking at what you did the last few days. Flirting and spending your money blindly around you, like you are in a brothel. Don't ask what that is.

"Just know that, if this goes on, your loving family will not be happy with you and only see you as a spendthrift. The Bain of a fortune amassing noble family.

"Look at your surroundings. The kingdom is on the other side of this land. Far away from your family. Even your uncle has small hope for you as ha put me, a lowly, newly appointed servant in your care."

She was merciless in her words, but thought it a bit ironic as her father had said similar words. There was a distinct difference though. The kid was cared about by his family and even brought to the 2nd level, while she was only yelled at her whole life.

Luo Si was seen as a burden from the first day because winter dawned on her arrival and her parents were not well prepared. She was even openly called an accident. Her brother was not much different, but he had her.

Love was something she hardly understood and received. All her live before the capsule arrived played about selfcare, working hard and trying not to be a burden. She did not love what she became, but she was proud of her persistency and survivability as she lost in life over and over. She had lost her brother, her grandmother and even her friend.

Her family as it had never found a place in her heart. Her false love and help, that had destroyed her multiple times and let her live-in hell. The only other person she had cared for was her master who shared a similar loneliness with her.

"Look at reality. You have nobody, even those kids only see you as a money bag."

Wuying had a bleak face and tears started forming. He knew that his siblings were doing things different from him, but he didn't know differently. Nobody told him or he might have overheard it.

Luo Si could see her words hitting the right spots. The first step was to shatter his life, his world, his reality. It was hard, but this was the best solution in mind.

There had been worries at first. Worried that she had to weed out all the wrongs, not being sure herself as she had lost all martial knowledge. But Wuying's responses was convining enough that it was best to just burn down the garden altogether.

"I'll give you a night to think about it. Today's lesson ends here." She said after having perceived a coming person.

Luo Si opened the tent. "You can come back inside."

Hantian was slightly surprised about her awareness. "Ahem. I have ended my joyful walk. I wonder how it went."

"Only the heavens know the answer to that question." Luo Si shrugged and walked out.

Hantian entered the tent. He whistled seeing his nephew still dazzled. "Don't want to be in your shoes boy."

The sun was still high, but Luo Si was not in the mood to cultivate. A clear mind was needed and hers was definitely not. Her momentary mental state would bear no fruits. It might even affect her meditation.

Instead, the television was turned on. Explosive news had been running all day long about a young Filipino who had broken through and had his fitness improved after reaching the second stage. Scientist could not explain this phenomenon. Just like the capsule it was unexplainable.

Tests were held and a perplexing result came out. The data supported the wonder not to be dangerous at the moment. In fact there were even improvements in speed and endurance had been verified on the two meakest subjects.

Yet still, the military warned not enter without clarifying the situation, but that only made others more agitated to enter SR.

"En, just like before. The mortal body will have slight improvements when the avatar breaks through." Luo Si thought about the changes brought by the capsule. It took her a little bit by surprise.

She had not broken through long ago, after taking beatings in quick succession. But then again, by cause of her cup being many times greater it also needed more time to solidify.

Players would get stronger with the help of SR. And not only their character, but also their real body. Although, not as strong as in game.

'Not yet.' She mumbled when the broadcast ended.
