Luo Si woke back up again, coughing up cold water.
Slowly regained her senses, she found herself woken up beside the well. Eyed by 3 people. Two of those belonged to the coated guard and the old Lady. When she identified the 3rd person present, she wanted to stand up, but her body was still weak from unknown exhaustion.
"Mr. Fu" she gnashed through her enclosed teeth as she experienced a strong headache. Her head felt cramped and overloaded, as if it was bursting from inside pressure.
Fu Hantian swiped his hand in a calm manner. "Hoh, I wonder what kind of fortune you encountered."
"Just a small matter." Luo Si could only evasively brush off her master's curiosity. Having just regained consciousness she herself did not know.
Hantian did not ask further into, seeing her evading the question. "Alright, if you don't want to tell, I don't need to hear. Just rest for now." He turned around.
As the others saw him away they barely overhear his loud sighing. "Another troublesome child."
The compromised duo of guard and spa employee automatically locked onto the topic of worry. Even the calm Luo Si reacted with an eye flinch. 'I will give you this round old man.'
While Luo Si was gloating inwardly the overseer told her in on what had occurred past her pool dive, not forgetting to give her a piece of his own. "Little rascal, you nearly costed me my life."
Though this was the only hit he could land before receiving non-vocal death threats.
As cold sweat ran down his spine he continued on without any more malaise how he had run to Fu Hantian. Informing the later about chapter 20's happening.
Fu Hantian was somewhat interested in Luo Si's doings and came along. All three of them lost hope however, when the iced air bubbles bashed against the top. Disappointed he had decided to leave as nothing else happened afterwards, but turned back when a light erupted out of the fountain.
The light only lasted for a couple of seconds. When it disappeared, the ice had started to melt down. Her body floated back up half a minute or so later and was fished out by the guard.
The fish's corps did not move, making the others have second thoughts in mind. Only 10 minutes later did Luo Si wake up, again.
Hong Luo Si went through her body as she wanted to know what she had gained. Her eyes widened as she perceived a piercing feeling forming inside her body. In shock a distinguishable breath ran down her cheeks. '!?'
A moment of numbness lasted until Luo Si got ahold of the situation at hand. In haste she covered her mouth with trembling hands.
Her harvest turned out to be a fairly complex one. In exchange for a massive headache, she had gained something even she could not hold a grin back for. 'It should hurt that much, I guess, since it is not really mine after all.'
'But this is undoubtedly not the right place to be excited about this.' After gulping down the exciting pain Luo Si calmed herself down. The scratching feeling in her throat vanished as she gained control over her body.
She stood back up and ran some meditation circles to heal up and realized that her cup had also solidified somewhat.
"Maybe, it's because my body was confronted with energy of a higher level when I absorbed her remains." She speculated.
Because the pool had returned to normal, the guard's boring task had come to an end. Out of gratitude he told her where the camp was, yet Luo Si did not go there, returning to the tomb as it was already night. She got some estranged looks as she walked through the cluster of people and logged off.
Her brother gave her a strange look as well while she was eating yesterday's leftovers, but only giggled when he saw his sisters obliviously puzzled look.
Luo Si wanted to take a bath, to celebrate todays achievement, but stopped in front of the mirror as she finally found out why everybody, even her brother looked strangely at her.
"Ahh!" thud*
She slipped and fell on her bottom when she saw something unexpecting in the mirror.
"My Hair! What happened to my hair?" She looked at her reflection anew.
2 Strains of hair on the front of her head had turned white.
"This is a new one." Her fingers went through her hair, determined to not let any change slip through.
"Seriously, to be toyed with to this stage. I feel like I'm losing my edge."
Her new facial features and sleek skin had her beauty scale climb a whole level and made her a solid 7/10 some hair artists may even perceive her as an 8 with the new hair style.

"Hello?" Liuxian picked up the phone and had a smile on his face when he read Kuilei's name.
"Erm… boss it's me Kuilei." A shacky voice replied.
"Of course, I know it's you. Did you finish the task I gave you?" Liuxian was pissed.
"N-No boss."
"Then why are you calling, or are you already able to exit the cage? If yes, then tell me how."
"No boss, it's actually Luo Si that can exit the cage."
"ARE YOU AN IDIOT?! How could useless shit like her breakthrough, before me? Didn't I tell you to keep her down?"
"Well, her exiting wasn't normal."
"What do you mean not normal. Did she pay someone to do it for her?"
"No, maybe, I don't know. She-she got a weird book from a flashy NPC and a needle. Someone she called Aristocrat Fu gave it to her."
"What flashy NPC? What book, why didn't you take it, or somebody else? A loner like her should not be able to keep her stuff."
"I was going to, boss, but a cultivator had already taken it after she died."
"Then what's the problem?"
"Well, the person caught fire the next second and died, becoming useless again."
"So, the book is outside the cage. Did somebody else or the guards take the book? Don't tell me it magically flew back to Luo Si."
"How do you know boss?"
Liuxian facepalmed.
"But the craziest thing didn't even occur then. I looked at what was inside the book when I was behind her."
"And?"
"And it was blank boss. There was nothing boss."
"Well, she must certainly have seen something if she ascended afterwards."
"You are a genius, boss. Afterwards she rammed the needle in her chest and popping sounds appeared, but different from others."
"What do you mean different, speak clearly." Liuxian was interested, since there was another, apparently easier way to leave the cage.
"Well usually there would be some simultaneous pops when one broke through, but Luo Si's pops were separated and also becoming louder over time, but she was also in great pain and wounds appeared all over her body."
"And then she died?"
"N-No boss. She took the book and read it although rather strange and the blood stopped flowing out of her wounds after doing some exercises, well they only closed up but were still there."
"What kind of movements, can you tell me?" Liuxian showed an interest similar to John.
"I can. But it's useless, since others tried already and nothing happened."
"Doesn't matter anyways, so she still has many scars over her body, sounds good."
"About that boss, after she returned from outside the cage, her body looked all healthy and she even looked more beautiful than before. But don't worry boss, Lin Rong is still miles ahead of her in beauty."
Lin Rong had an envious look on her face as she heard Luo Si becoming more beautiful and was very agitated in what she did. "Darling, make him find out how she did it."
"You heard the woman."
"Yes boss, don't worry. This time I will apprehend and interrogate her to get to know all her secrets."
"Don't worry babe," Liuxian said after he ended the call. "I will also make her father tell us everything, since she is always obedient to him."
'As for that flashy NPC, I don't think that it's an exclusive. There must be one on my side as well.'
"But didn't she disobey her father and didn't kowtow to us."
Liuxians' face turned a little bit awry from hearing Lin Rong's answer.
