No one's P.O.V
Today is a holiday for Sheylia, which means no school!
Sheylia yawns as she changes her pyjamas to today's outfit; a baggy white t-shirt tucked into a pair of high waisted, ripped denim shorts.
She leaves her bedroom,
"Oops, almost forgot my phone," she says to herself before exiting her room for the second time.
Once downstairs she quickly puts together a peanut butter and jam sandwich. Stuffing the sandwich into her mouth, Sheylia walks to Lara's house. She pulls her phone out of her back pocket and texts Lara,

Sheylia knocks on the front door to her cousin's house. A few moments later the door swings open revealing a short, freckled girl.
"Hello, come in!" Lara excitedly says. Sheylia enters and follows Lara to her bedroom. When Sheylia walks into her cousin's bedroom she looks around, a small neat room with pretty aesthetic print outs taped on the pastel blue walls, a delicate looking vanity with makeup and hair clips scattered across its surface, a decent sized bed with pastel blue pillows and blankets, a little antique bookshelf with a few books and plants on it, a desk, a big window, a tv, and a very large white bear plushy in the corner met her eyes, as she hasn't been in here for a while.
"Can you help me with my homework, I was struggling with it yesterday and you're here soooo," Lara asks,
"Yeah sure," responses Sheylia. Lara gets her homework out of her backpack and places it on her desk, she points to a question. Sheylia examines the problem before speaking.
"Okay, so you have to use BEDMASS to solve this question," she says and glances at Lara, she continues,
"So, you have to do what's in the brackets first, then go in the order of BEDMASS, okay?"
Lara hums in response and starts solving the question. Sheylia lays on the bed and pulls out her phone to play some music.
"I will be here if you need help," Sheylia says as she presses the play button to the song 'Feel' by FLETCHER. After helping Lara with a few more questions they finally finished.
"Thanks for the help," Lara sweetly says,
"No problem!" Sheylia smiles stretching out on the bed.
"Let's get some snacks, hmm?" Lara suggests, Sheylia eagerly nods in agreement and springs off the bed. Both girls head to the kitchen, with Lara leading the way and Sheylia following right behind.
But as they were leaving the bedroom, they didn't realise Lyde opening his bedroom door, watching them, more specifically Sheylia, go downstairs. He then follows. Both girls enter the kitchen, Sheylia goes into the pantry and Lara stays in the kitchen and gets their drinks ready.
Sheylia was too busy focusing on which snacks to get that she didn't realise the other presence in the pantry. Finally deciding on a bag of goldfish crackers and fruit gummies, she lets out a satisfied sigh and turns around. Her eyes widen in shock and fear as she freezes and tightens her grip on the snacks. So many thoughts running through her mind, she finally accepts the fact that she is alone in a room with Lyde, who is hungrily staring at Sheylia with a smirk plastered on his face. She gulps, trying to find a way around him. After finding no way around him, she panics, and notices Lyde slowing inching his way towards her. Freaking out and not knowing what to do she yells,
"LARA I NEED HELP FINDING SNACKS!!!" praying that Lara will arrive soon. The gods quickly answering her prayer, Lara enters the pantry and sees her brother.
"Oh Lyde what are you doing here, I never saw you come in the kitchen," she says while pushing past him and standing beside her cousin.
"I was getting a snack," he grumbles, now in a bad mood but never taking his eyes off Sheylia.
"These are fine, let's go play videogames," Lara quickly says, grabbing Sheylia's wrist and pulling her out of the pantry. Lyde spotted his sister's hand on Sheylia's wrist and growled lowly, eyes glued to the hand on her wrist as the girls exited the pantry. Jealousy and anger building up in his system, he leaves and follows them back upstairs.
Sheylia turns the door knob and pushes it open with her hips, Lyde watches her body move from the stairwell and licks his lips.
Lyde starts walking to his bedroom once both girls disappeared behind Lara's bedroom door. He stops in front of his sister's door after noticing that it was opened an inch, he peeks in and storms away angry, after seeing Sheylia feed Lara a gummy. He slams his door shut making the girls jump a bit, but then just laughing at each other after.
Lara turns on her PlayStation and they decide to play a horror game.
"AAHHH!!!" Lara screams,"RUN RUN RUUUUNNN!!!!!!!"
"I'M TRYING!!!!" Sheylia yells while pushing the joystick forward with all her strength,
"HE IS RIGHT BEHIND YOU!!! YOU CAN'T DIE NOW WE ARE SO CLOOSSSE!!!!" Lara yells while waving her arms around like a lunatic. Sheylia makes it to the end and jumps up while punching the air in victory.
"We did it! We did it! We did it!" Sheylia happily says while doing a very strange victory dance. Lara wears a big smile and joins Sheylia in her dance. If someone walked in they would think they were doing some ritual.
After a five minute dance party with eerie horror music in the background, they finally calmed down and put on a movie.
The movie ends and both girls just lay there in silence.
"Okay well I'll get going now," Sheylia suddenly says while rolling off the side of the bed.
"Meanie..." Lara whispers,
"What do you mean 'meanie' ?" Sheylia spins around and asks Lara.
"Nothing," smiles Lara, she gets up and walks Sheylia to the door.
"I had fun today, byee!!" Sheylia says while hugging her cousin,
"Same, bye get home safe! Love you!" Lara says while watching Sheylia walk down the porch steps.
"Love yoouu!!" Sheylia yells back, while turning around to face her, walking backwards, she gives Lara a big smile before turning around again and slowly fading into the distance.
