Three days passed, and no words from Tyler, George is about to exit the house to meet Tyler when he meets Laura in the living room.
"Laur?!" He exclaims.
"And were do you think you are going at this time of the night?" She asked.
"Um.... and I surpose that's none of your business." He retorted.
"Well it is my business if I am the one who gets queried whenever you get into any mischief." She said with a stern look.
"Oh ! in that case, you should know that I'm going to see Tyler, you know we didn't get to see each other after the assembly." He smiles mischieviously.
"And it can't wait till tomorrow? look at the time for God's sake George." She said fuming anger.
"Don't!, Don't Laura, we barely have 3 days on this doomed planet to....." He stopped halfway as Laura interupted.
"To what George? She asks this time with mixed emotions. Look at you, you spend barely an hour at home, if we are ever going to get along as a family?, it should be with the little time we have left." She said calmly.
George opens his mouth to say something but to his suprise, he was unable to, he lacks the words. His sister's words cut through him deeply. "I am sorry Sis." He said finally looking at his feets as he wriggles them. He was shocked by his words he had never apologise to anyone before, not even Laura.
Laura also suprise exhales deeply. "Ok you should be back in less than an hour time." She said firmly.
"Thanks sis." He said, then he bends down, captured her face with his palms and perk her on the forehead.
Meanwhile at NASA's headquaters, Washington D.C, Director Pedro and barely ten agents are in the control room trying to sort out some things, they are argueing about what they should do about the meteorite. Some of them suggest that they blow up the meteorite with missiles, but the problem also was, if it might have any effect on the meteorite because of it's huge mass. And even if it does, the odds that humans would survive the shower was very low since it has gotten so close to the Earth.
"Wait a minute!" Carlos exclaimed. "Are we really doing this? We are here calculating odds, distance, velocity and how long it takes before we all die. I mean, we should be with our families, spending the last moments we have and making it counts." He blurted out.
Director Pedro stares at him, not knowing what to say. "The doors are always open, Agent Scott. You can go home if you want." He said calmly trying to calm his anger down.
Although he said Carlos could go home, he didn't really meant that. Carlos has always be handful to Director Pedro expecially in times like this. He didn't want Carlos to go yet but he too couldn't help it either.
Carlos on the other hand, saw the looks on his face when he told him he could go home. "I could stay if you want." He said.
"No you shouldn't." He replied.
"Sire?!" exclaimed Agent Freeman.
"No!" retorted Director Pedro. "We shouldn't be here either. What could we possibly do? We have barely 3 days and we haven't even come of with an idea to save humanity. He is right, this is just a waste of time."
"But sir the president orders we keep on working until we find the solution." An agent remarks.
Sighs. "What is more important agent? The President orders or your family? huh." Director Pedro ask staring at the agent.
"My family sir." He answered.
"This a failed mission." He said to no one in particular as his eyes went round the room gazing at everyones face. "We should be with our families, doom will meet us all." He said as he left the control room.
The other agents stood there staring at one another.
"Maybe we should all go home." Said a female agent as she left the room also.
The other agents tidy up the place, off the computers and they all left simultenously.

George arrives at Tyler's place, "The Olsen's Mansion" George was impressed by the huge size of the building, he wasn't sure if he had seen any building as huge as that.
He climbs up the stairs and knocks the door gently. The door opens and brought George face to Face with Magerette, a lady in her late 50's.
"Hey! I am here to see Tyler." George said.
"You mean Master Tyler, he has been expecting you." She said with a reassuring smile. "Come in."
She leads George to the living room, which is so huge in size and also well furnished with the latest trend of furnitures. The ceramic tiles and walls of the living room reflected the lights, there is a huge ceramic table at the centre of the living room, the sculptures makes the place look more like a castle than a modern living room, there are also flowering pot made up of ceramic and contains various kinds of flowers. George stares at the huge aquarium at the extreme of the living room, he admired the beauty and colors of the fishes. Then his gaze turns to pity instead of admiration for the fishes, that such beauty was about to come to an end so soon.
"You can sit here." Magerette points to a couch at the corner.
George sat down expecting Tyler, although still admiring the place. Tyler must have renovated the place he thought.
"Make yourself comfortable, I will go get Master Tyler." She said with a smile on her face.
George smiled back at her as she left him alone.
George likes Magerette. Although she had been a maid, she was like a mother to Tyler when his parents died.
Tyler's mother died when she gave birth to Tyler, so he never got to meet his mother. He was left with his father alone, his father made sure he made Tyler happy and comfortable in all aspects in his childhood. His father Mr Harry Olsen Jr. was an entrepreneur and technological expect who built weapons and other advanced tech machines for the government agencies, he also was a charitable man who everyone loves. He died in a plane crash when Tyler was four and ever since then Magerette and Mr Felix who worked in the house had been like parents to Tyler.
'Welcome to my world Mr Eastman." Tyler said in a formal way.
"Tyler!" George stands up and embraces him. "I missed you."
"Oh did you?" Tyler asks. "I thought you rather prefer the company of ladies."
"No it's not like that." George defends. "Laura wouldn't have let me out of her sight again. And.... she has beautiful friends. Not bad having them around. You know."
"Whatever you say. Come over here." He said as he leads George out of the living room.
George and Tyler strolls down the hallway, George admires the place; the sculptures, flowering vass, the florescent light which reflects on the ceramic tiles and walls and picture frames of various wildlife and also pictures of Tyler's family.
"Do you really spend this much money renovating the place yearly?' George asked curiously.
"Not exactly, my dad's company does the renovation. It sometimes feel awkward though, but not bad at all." Tyler replied.
George steps on the ground, this time it doesn't feel like ceramics anymore but like glass with blue likes emitting from it. He looks down and he saw fishes of various kinds and species.
"Your dad loved fishes?" George inquires.
"Maybe, I think so. You know I didn't know my dad so well." He replies.
"Hmm." George hums.
"Now I want to show you something." Tyler said as he stops at the foot of a door with a screen showing the image of a human shape palm with it's prints.
"What?"
"Uh... You should see for yourself." Tyler grunts.
Tyler opens the door by placing his palm on the image on the screen to fit his palm. The door creaks open revealing a room filled with computers of various types including super computers.
"Oh my God, Tyler?!"
"This is where I do all my hacking and computer stuffs." Tyler remarks.
"What is this?" George points at a mini spaceship.
"It's ...... it's a chopper, I mean space chopper." Tyler stutters.
"Cool! Does it work?" George asks eagerly.
"No, not yet. My dad wasn't able to finish it before he died."
Oh.... Um...."You could figure that out. Right?" George said.
"Not sure yet, haven't really considered that." Tyler said.
"Ok, have you been watching that meteorite?' George asks worriedly as he stares at the projector screen showing the Earth and the meteorite.
"Uh...." Tyler stutters.
"You could have watched it from outside instead, the view is clear enough." George remarks.
"You don't seem disturbed." Tyler said surprised.
"About what?" George asks.
"There is a huge space rock hovering the Earth and___" Tyler stops halfway as George interrupts.
"And I am not bothered. Is that what you think?"
'Yes, you are not." Tyler retorts.
"Um.... Whatever. What is the latest info?" George asks.
"NASA doesn't seem to be active again and another thing is___" Tyler stops.
"What?"
"The..... the meteorite stopped moving." Tyler said looking alarmed.
"Well isn't that good news, I mean we are not dying any soon." George remarks.
"Well I don't think that either. Whatever it is, I think aliens are behind this." Tyler blurts out.
George laughs uncontrollably.
"You think this is funny. Don't you? Have you ever thought of this "Do Meteorite Grow Out Of Thin Air" no they don't, if this was happening naturally we could have know years ago if not decades." Tyler said bluntly.
"Well I think you have a point. George agrees.
Oh my God look at the time." George exclaims. "I have to go home now."
"Ok."
"See you later." George said as he leaves.

George arrived at home, his mom was already asleep. He went to his room to sleep also when he decided to check on Laura.
"Laura!" He called as he enters her room. She wasn't on bed, she wasn't in the bathroom either. He was about to live when he saw her window opened, he decided to check outside.
He stalked his head outside the window. He saw Laura sitting on the roof staring at the sky.
"What are you doing?" he asks.
"Stargazing." She said calmly, rather not to be disturbed.
George chuckles. "You mean doomgazing, coz I see nothing other than a huge space rock about to crush us all."
"George!"
"Yeah!" He answers.
"Do you really think we are going to die?" She asks.
'To be honest, I don't know what to believe either. We can't be too optimistic. Can we?" He said staring at the clouds trying to cover the meteorite but are unable to hid it.
"Do you always have to answer a question with a question." Laura asked.
"What?" George ask suprised at his sister's remark.
"You just did it again." She points.
"No I didn't." He defends. "Can I...... can I sit by you?"
"Yeah sure." Laura said shifting to create a space for him.
Laura and George kept on looking at the sky for some time in an awkward silence which made George uncomfortable.
"Laura! Do you think dad is up there?" He said looking at the stars.
"Um... I don't know. They say when we die we either go to heaven or hell right?" She said.
"And you don't believe that. Do you?"
"No." she replies bluntly.
"Um..... ok." George said not wanting to talk futher or start an arguement with his sister.
"George I think we should go in now, it is getting cold." Laura said coldly.
"Yeah I am with you." George said as they both went in through the window and Laura shot it behind her.
