Before walking through the portal that lead to the castle, Fenrir stood there with Cerberus.
"Fenrir..." A familiar voice called out behind him. He turns around and sees Obsidia and Zero walking to him. Cerberus began to growl as he watched them.
"What do you two want..." He asks softly. He was still hurting from losing his siblings.
"Let us help you..." Obsidia replies. "We never knew about your siblings and he originally had a plan for them." Zero sat beside her.
"The two of us have been watching since our encounter with you and if you're going up against our master, you need someone inside."
"If you two help me, you both are going to die. Besides how can I trust you two?"
They both look down. Obsidia gently rubs Zero's back. "Do you know how we became part of The Six?"
Fenrir stopped and looked back at them. "We were chosen but at the same time, he killed everyone in our village when we were children. He had a witch cast a spell on us, it turned Zero into a wolf and gave him powers and you've seen mine." She says as she holds a small black flame in her hand. "Please.. We know the pain. Let us help."
"Now I think we are done here, Archangel. I have someplace to be." Fenrir takes a deep breath and opens his mouth, his breath now turning to a blast of ice, almost like a dragons fire breath. The bast was too wide to avoid, causing Archangel to use his power to form a barrier. Once the ice and mist cleared, Fenrir had already made his escape.
Fenrir was now on his way to Zero and Obsidia. "Good thing I remembered the directions." He took a a left turn after leaving the throne room and ran as fast as he could. Beside a door he could see Zero waiting and ready. In the distance behind him, the doors to the throne room burst open with Archangels rage. The man no longer wore his crimson armor as he now walked out, his body covered in black aura. He turned and look towards the two wolves with glowing red eyes.
Fenrir was able to overcome the pressure after that battle but Zero was terrified.
"Zero, we need to go now." Fenrir could see his fear. A fear that he had once seen before and is now remembering it. "Dammit." He curses as he is forced to go under Zero and lift him up onto his back like as if he were wounded. Archangel begins to walk down the hall toward them, tendrils of aura now forming from his back and lashing out and striking the walls.
Fenrir rushes through as Archangel was now running towards the two.
"I hope you're ready because he's definitely not happy."
Obsidia finish her preparations, she could feel his aura, but needed to shrug it off. She rushes over to Zero and helps him snap out of it. "Brother, snap out of it." She slaps him across the muzzle once and he can easily feel the heat.
"I'm... Im sorry.... It reminded me of when we were kids when he came..." Zero tried to shake it off but the thought was still there.
"Did you find her?" Fenrir shifts back to his mortal form.
"I did but she's almost at her limit. He abused her powers for this long."
Fenrir walks with Obsidia as pounding on the door began. "That won't last long."
They walk through the room and turn the corner to see a young girl who was on the beige of death. "He made her immortal.... And used her like a living sponge..." Fenrir felt the anger build up but had to relax for a moment, thinking back to what Hel whispered to him. "I may have an idea. If you two can keep an eye on that door and let me know if he gets through, I may be able to heal her."
Obsidia and Zero look at eachother then rush back and watch the door. Fenrir kneels down and closes his eyes, gently placing his hand on the girls forehead. A white light began to illuminate from his hand. For a moment nothing happens, then the girl takes a deep breath and begins to panic. He pulls his hand back and sighs softly. "Thank you guys..."
He whispers to himself then stands up and holds his hand out for the girl. "You're going to be all right. I will only ask for your power once. After that I can protect you. I promise."
The girl looks at him then back to his hand. She could hear the battles going on outside and Archangels rage against the door. "Is that him...?" She asks hesitantly.
"If you stay here, he will continue to use your power for himself. I have friends who he has done the same thing to who are helping me rescue you." He replies to the girl as well as nods. She looks up and takes his hand, he helps her up and she stumbles. Instead of carrying her he shifts back to his wolf form and kneels down for her. Once she slides onto his back he stands up and walks over to the others.
"Once we leave we need to get the old gods out of here. Tiamat might be able to cause a distraction but she sounds busy." He looks up at the girl, Obsidia walks over to comfort her then walks back to Zero to check on him.
Fenrir sighs softly and turns to face the wall behind him.
He takes a deep breath before breathing his ice breath, freezing the wall until it's frozen solid.
"Hold on tight little one. This is going to get bumpy." It took the girl a moment to register what he said, wrapping her arms around him tight. Once she was locked, he takes quickly runs toward the wall then leaps through it, shattering it into hundreds of pieces.
Fenrir lands followed by Zero and Obsidia. Once the three gather themselves, Fenrir looks around and sees the battle still going on. "We need to find my grandfather and the others before it's too late."
