The bidding is almost over, and I can see the lord staring at me. That grin of his as no one raises another hand is more than evident. No one challenges his bet. Who could? He started it off with such a high price. I'm choking on air as I lose any hope of getting out of this. I stare at my feet, drowning out all the noise around me. Slowly, the sound comes back as I hear footsteps approaching me. Looking up into his gold eyes, I'm too shocked to hear anything going on around me. All I could see was him waving at me as my mother stares in complete shock at all the gold she won today.
Hesitantly I follow him towards a ship that's set to leave right away. I hold tightly onto Sinbad's hand on the way over, "I thought you said marriage wasn't really your thing?"
"Oh it's not. I just thought I'd do you a favor and we could finish where we left off." He winks at me, "You know, before all the drama. Besides, I couldn't help myself when you're dressed like that." I blush, one hand pulling my skirt down and the other blocking my chest.
As we climb aboard a man with white hair runs in our direction. "Sinbad!!"
"Ja'far!" Sinbad exclaims. I step out of the way as the man chases after Sin.
"Where have you been? We spent all morning looking for you?!" He comes to a halt, jerking his head in my direction, "Wait. Who's that?"
"That's (y/n), she's my.. uh, guest who will be coming back with us." There's a long pause as Sin is stared down. "We'll give her a job in the palace to make up for it."
"So (y/n), have you ever been to Sindria?" Ja'far asks. Then it starts to sink in. Sinbad, I knew where I had heard that.
