Chapter 64 - Warm ~ Marsur x Reader (Part 2)

You guessed it, I'm back. Since then, I would come out and greet Marsur when I saw him. A few words passed on occasion, but mostly he just let me be nearby. I just enjoyed spending some time with him and getting to know him a little better. Plus it was easier to watch up close then when I was constantly trying not to be noticed. Especially now since I knew that was impossible.

I spot the back of his red head, tip toeing over in hopes to surprise him. 'It's later than I normally visit so he probably won't expect it.' Then, I lose sight of him, "Hmm, I just saw him. Where'd he go? He's normally not very good at sneaking up on me. Maybe it's just cause it's dark?" I mutter to myself, glancing around. But he's nowhere to be seen. 'He couldn't have just vanished!'

A hand firmly sets itself on my shoulder. "OH MY-" I turn to face him as he holds a finger up to my lips. I whisper harshly, "What are you doing?!"

He raises his brow at me before picking me up bridal style and quickly bolting down the hall. "Wait! Where are we going?!" If anyone had heard me, I was certain they wouldn't be able to catch up with this boy.

He comes to a stop at the garden, setting me down. It takes me a moment to put all the pieces together. A long moment. But when I do I can't stop smiling, giving him a tight hug. "You knew?" I ask, looking up at those lovely red orbs. He nods, pleased to find it's a sweet surprise for me. But that isn't all, the view is beautiful right now. As if it had been timed perfectly. I gape at it, letting out a muttered 'Wow'.

I rip my eyes away to see a smile on his face. "You're smiling!" I exclaim, stifling a laugh. "Th.." I pause, "thank you.." He kisses my cheek, and I feel them heat up. "Why'd you do that?" I ask, hiding my blush.

He chuckles, his eyes are welcoming though. And I know he's thinking my response is cute. He sits down and pulls me down next to him cupping my face. "I love you," he replies and waits patiently for my response. Though his longing, red orbs lose their confidence though when I fail to reply.

In the chaos of my thoughts I'm at a loss of words. Instead, I press my lips against his. He kisses back. And though he's not a man of many words, this is worth more to me. I pull away with a smirk, "How's that for an answer?" He runs a hand through my hair, to place his lips back on mine.
