I walk out towards the shore to enjoy the view as the sky begins to darken. Dipping my feet in the water, I let out an exasperated sigh. It's lovely and relaxing to watch the sun get closer to setting. It's been a while since I've felt this calm. I think over the day's events as I settle into my mind.
"Hey (y/n), the others are heading back to the hotel now, you should come with us." Alibaba ruffles my hair as I glance up at those amber orbs. "You look cute today," he compliments as I feel a blush adorn my cheeks.
"I.. I guess I'm just really happy. I've had fun with all of you. I'm really glad we came here."
"Yeah me too, I think the only one of us who didn't have fun was Jamil. I wouldn't either if I got hit in the face with a volleyball though." I chuckle at that. True, he wasn't the most excited for this trip that's for sure. "Honestly, he feels like a real drag, why are you even keeping a guy like that around?"
"I have my reasons," I mutter, thinking over it all, "But he's not always like that. I would've thought he'd love this trip." It's silent, more than awkward. "Alright, guess it's time to go."
Once we get to the hotel I take a nice long shower. Stepping out, I hug onto my towel as the cold air hits me. I walk into my room, shivering before changing into something comfortable.
I let out a sigh. I had a wonderful day, but I'm glad it's over. There comes a knock at the door, but it slips open as he comes wandering into the room.
