It was a great day.
A beautiful white wedding dress covered in diamonds covered her body.
All was going to be fine.
He was very attentive with her. Even if he was divorced she still fell for him.
And now it was finally their wedding day.
She was young and beautiful. A educated and modern woman.
Even though they haven't met for long but she was sure about him.
-It's time.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The dream this time was too weird. She felt very happy without a good reason. Just the feelings in that dream were too powerful.
Today was the day she was going to meet that man. She talked with Meghan a few times after that and all she knew about that man she was going to be introduced to was:
He was Liam's team leader. His name was Michael Landson, 29 years old, he didn't have a girlfriend. He was good looking. He didn't seem to have recent problems be it either with men or women. He was a good team leader, good in his work.
End of the report.
Soraya was still a bit concerned. She was going to meet that man tonight at a fancy restaurant. Meghan chose everything. Liam and Meghan would be there too to make the first meeting less awkward. Or maybe Meghan just wanted to see everything. Yep, that was the real reason.
Well, it doesn't matter. Today she was in a great mood.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The night arrived surprisingly quickly for Soraya. Or maybe she was too nervous. She spent most of the day deciding what to wear for tonight.
She had chosen a light pink dress right a little over her knees with the complements in black, a short warm jacket, heels and bag. She chose to have her hair straightened and free.
She arrived at the restaurant at half past nine. She was still half a hour early. They were going to have dinner late because Meghan had a urgent work matter. But well, she arrived early to be well prepared just in case.
It was the first week of December. The cold weather not accompanied by snow was a rare sight.
The restaurant was called 'Red Moon'. It was elegant, with red decoration here and there. She arrived and took a seat at the table reserved by Liam. Then she looked at her surroundings. Almost all the tables were full with couples.
Then a loud table called her attention. Soraya was just three tables apart but she could still hear them.
-Louise, we were finished two months ago. I don't understand why you followed me here today.
-You know I can't accept it. We were so good together. Then, just beause we had a few misunderstandings in the last month you suddenly broke up with me.
-Do you reallly think that? You only saw problems the last month. Didn't you consider our fights over the previous six months?
-Those were just little couple fights. Why are you bringing them up now?
-Louise, we are too different. You just considered them little fights. But for me they were little cracks. Little by little they were signals which told me we're not good together. And the last month was just hell for me.
-You're too much!
-Louise, you're being too loud.
-And what if that's the case? It's that the most important thing for you right now?
-Well, we have nothing more to talk with each other. I don't know how you knew I was going to be here today but enough is enough. I hope we don't see each other again. I'm leaving.
-Why because I interrupted your date?
-No, because you spoiled my mood. Farewell.
Soraya was just drinking an orange juice while listening to the soup opera in direct and looking a little over there. The loud ex-couple was making the other tables a little awkward.
Then, the man stood up a left the table. The woman started to chase after him.
Soraya looked at them. They were truly a good looking pair. The woman had blonde curly hair and green eyes. She was wearing a red short dress and white long coat. The man had light brown hair and penetrating blue eyes. He was wearing a light blue shirt, black coat and grey trousers. They exited the restaurant. And peace returned to the ambience.
