"Here's the clippers you asked for earlier."
"Thanks." I reply Percy without turning to him.
"Why's he smiling but she's frowning?" Star says in a failed attempts at a whisper.
"I don't know. Let's keep watching." M shushes her.
"How've you been?" He asks with his lips in a half-smile.
"We were supposed to have twins." Really? That's the first thing that comes out of my mouth. Well, he was bound to notice by flat belly sooner or later.
His eyes slowly travel from my face to my stomach and his smile drops as he does.
"Wha… What happened?" He inches closer on the couch and places his hands on my shoulders.
"You died and I guess I got stressed out so I miscarried. Let me cut your hair, you look like a mountain man. It's not sexy." I stand up, leaving him confused, or hurt. I can't tell.
