"Ash?" I burst through the front door and run up the stairs.
"You're back." His voice comes from the kitchen.
The rest file in behind me as I run to the kitchen to find Asher standing in front of the stove.
"What are you doing?" Dee asks as she slowly approaches him.
"I wanted to make lunch to thank you guys for everything." He answers innocently. As Dee walks closer to him, he backs up until he's corner by the sink.
"Don't ever come into my kitchen again." Even I feel as shiver go down my spine at Dee's low voice.
"But I was just…" I pull Asher out of the room before he can finish his sentence.
"Did I do something wrong? I thought she was nice and wouldn't mind."
"Trust me, no one here's nice. Asides me, that is." We settle on the couch.
"So? Did you find it?" He must be referring to the drugs.
"Yeah we did. How did you get all of that inside by yourself?"
