Lucian was cursed to live underground trapped by all means necessary. But at least he still had the book of secrets in his possession. He was king of the Darkhavenger Kingdom whether he was there or not. He ruled the vampires, dragons, and werewolves. Even if the half breed werewolves hated him, so be it. All he needed now was this moment of power. His queen was all he need...for now. Lucain kissed Lorelei. After just coming back from the Darkhavenger to discuss the plans of transforming new recruits, he was craving someone who actually related to his annoyance with servants who pleaded and hated the talk of destruction. Lorelei was the only women who could sympathize with his plait. She was evilly charming . When he first met her, she was a dressed in a golden gown with wavy blond hair fierce fully challenging him to try and beat her in combat. She'd laugh proudly as she through her most powerful lightning bolts at him, while he'd smile back at her as he narrowly evaded them. It was almost enjoyable having her in his dark valley of ruins. She was the first who'd ever dare come to pare with him. Every once and awhile he come by the valley just to see a glimpse of her standing there to greet him. For a time, he felt almost human. Day by day he and Lorelei would talk about their lives and plans for the world. For a time, she had been the only thing close to happiness he had ever felt. But then that was before he met her.
Nedra. The women he was to serve in exchange for power of the Darkhavegers and the Book of Secrets. He answered to no one, but in his mind he knew he was controlled by her. For he had handed her his soul. And now he was paying the deepest cost for it. Lorelei. he thought. Forgive me.

"I never loved you, so I'm sorry if I made you think that I did." he said
"Yes you did. There where certain things you said that would make any women think you thought more of her. The way you held me around my waist like I mattered, and the way you looked at me..." her voice trailed off as her hair blew in the wind looking straight ahead not even acknowledging his presence as he stood there beside her.
"It made me feel... loved. What's funny is that you don't even know what love is like."
"I DO KNOW what love is like." Lucian said with a hostile tone clenching his teeth. But in truth, he knew she was right. He had never learned what it felt like to be loved by another person or to show the same affection with the same curtsy and respect. This was the curse he was charged with and his burden to bare forever.
Lorelei turned her head sharply towards him "This is more then just a simple admiration. When you can stand here and tell me you loved someone so much there very gestures make your body ache, or the very thought of them makes you smile and warm, or that you would move the havens and earth if you could to save the person you loved from hurting, then you can tell me you've loved someone. That is what I once felt for you." Silence befell him as he looked beyond her
"Do you still feel that way now?" he asked
" No, where on different terms now, so whatever gesture or flirty words you think you can do to make me swoon, won't work. I fell out of love with you when you broke my heart and spat on it like it was nothing more then a broken toy. I AM NOT TO BE PLAYED WITH," Lorelei screamed with tears falling down her flushed red cheeks, still refusing to look at him.
"So I can see. But I once felt something between us, but then, it just vanished, what could I have done?" He turned to her with hint of remorse.
She snapped at those words and quickly turned to him with fire in her eyes. How could he believe that he played an innocent part in there quarrel when in fact he had been the very cause of it all. She clenched her teeth as she tried to sustain herself from slapping the living day lights out of him!
"You should have explained your reason gently to me like you cared, instead of rubbing your new lover in my face and cursing me for doing you know harms, but love you!"
"I am sorry, I told you that" he said softly reaching over to touch her.
"Sometimes the word sorry isn't enough to erase the pain." Lorelei slapped him away and looked back on the horizon.
" Well, what do you want me to do then, beg for mercy?" he heard her laughed bitterly knowing she relished the thought, he stepped back a few inches cursing inwardly that he had given her such an idea. But he couldn't tell her all that he had done just to see their world flourish. A new world come that he would be in charge of. But for now, Lorelei couldn't understand. None of them understood that what he did was absolutely necessary. By all means.
" No." she said calmly. " Your not the same as you where before. Even though it's tempting, all I want is for you to agree to stick with the terms you made for us when I tried to get you back. Do remember what you said to me?" Lucian nodded his head. That was the day he killed his best friend. Falling in love with a werewolf when you're a half breed guardian was forbidden.
That it was over between us and nothing good can come of it now. Well I'm letting you go just like you wanted. Should I draw out a 'whole contentment or state for you to have your space? Fine, so be it! You've heard of what doesn't kill us makes us stronger', well baby, I'm living proof of that just between us!" giving him and eerie stare of triumph as caressed her stomach proudly announcing "And our baby will be our constant reminder of what happened here." He stepped toward her in shock, but she had already teleport-ed away to the human world. Angrily Lucian preyed back into his dark palace, calling forth Garveneth. He appeared at his side looking at him drearily as a slave looks upon his master. He hated to seeing him like this, so wishywashy and solemn, but right now his attitude wasn't what he wanted to unleash his fury upon about. "Gavernth," he said unmoving &clam by this task he wanted performed. His long black trench coat swayed as he turned away from Garveneth "I want you and your clan to kill all the werewolves you can find." Gavernth gasped in shock, gripping his staff until his knuckles where white.
"What?"
"You heard me you filthy lizard. I want them dead. Tonight." Gavernth shook his head in denial.
"No. I won't do this! What have they done to you to make me and my clan do this? On my honor Lucian I swear- "
"And do what? Prey tell?" Lucian smirked
A rock fell from the cavern palace onto the black marble floor. Garv stepped back as if an unforeseen force was pulling him away. Lucian knew Garv would refuse such a task if he was free. That's why he always kept a few mindless vampires around him for good measure. They were his own creation born from his blood.
"Your not in your world anymore Garv. You're in mine. I would hate to see you end up like Zeev and serve as tasty entree to one of my Gnats. They haven't had there meal just yet but I would be happy to satisfy their hunger. With just. One. Word."
Garv knelled on one knee in regretful servitude to him. "What would you like me to do?"
"Address me as you Master and King." Lucian said casually.
"What would you have my do, my King?" Garv tightened his jaw line.
"I want you to make all werewolves scream bloody murder."
"What about the Vulks?"
He thought about them for a second. They could prove as a threat to him in the future but there was so little they could barely be enough to be called a clan.
"Spare the half- breeds and there neighboring clan but the rest I want destroyed." He walked to his thrown and sat down proud fully.
"And Garv, I want it done in the most gruesome way possible." Garv stood up from the floor mumbling hateful words as he left. Lucian gleamed ruefully at one of his Gnats. He had another special arrangement in mind.

She heard another cry and the faint announcement from the doctor "It's a boy" she let out a sigh of relief that the pain was gone and that her baby boy was now here with her. Oh, to see him so pink and flush, her eyes were streaked with tears of joy at the sight of him. She stretched out her arms ready to hold him. Finally her son was here. But there was a sudden Crash and Cling echoed from the door way while nurses and doctors ran for cover. Oh no. She tried to get her baby from the doctor who held her child in the sudden shock but she was still weak from the labor pains. Lucain teleport ed into the room. Seeing the doctor hold her child, he raised the man off his feet in a choke hold before grabbing his child out of his hands. The baby cried at the sudden cold hands that were now cradled him. There was something strange at the way he held there son, he gazed at him and licked his chops as if savoring the very thought of stuffing him in his mouth. It was there she saw claws hidden under his jacket. This wasn't Lucian, it was one of his Gnats! She wanted to fight it. To rip off it's head as it had the nerve to touch her baby. She summoned the energy she had left to throw a lightning bolt at it while being carefully accurate to not hurt her child. The male Gnat casually sidestepped the attack like it was nothing. He sent a wave of paralysis through her body, leaving her helpless "Please don't do this." she cried, trying to reached out her hand and touch her child, but with a final wave from the Gnat, they where gone.
