Plop…
A little boy with golden hair and amazing golden eyes was thrown into the water of the not that deep pond behind the Queen's palace.
A little boy called Collin du Eylos was horribly pushed by the hands of a fluffy pink dressed little girl.
A little boy was beyond shocked when the said fluffy girl only smirked while viciously pushing him down not regretting her actions.
"Anne du Lith, come here right now!"

"Hahahaha!"
The tower of a certain grand wizard was filled with unrestrained laughter from a self-proclaimed handsome man.
"Hahahaha, she did what?" Druon had heard from his newly arrived assistant Vincent that the little evildoer was punished and detained in her chamber for a whole week from Her Majesty, Queen Elisa.
"Sigh… yes, Master, she pushed the little Collin into the pond. He ended catching a cold."
"Hahaha…"
"Master, why are you laughing?"
"You will never know, Vin." Druon wasn't that familiar with the little princess but he knew that she wasn't the kind of person to do anything without a motive or… without being led to it. 'That little child must have done something to her, after all, he is the son of that idiot Duke of Eylos. That scheming bastard.'
"Anyway, Master, little Moira is here for her weekly check-up." Vin was the one in charge of assisting the Wizard in many of his experiments and the preparation of medicines and potions. Vin was on his own a very capable wizard, more outstanding than many medics and prodigies of countless countries but he decided to stay by Druon's side. Why? Well, of course, to get his hands in many valuable ingredients at the great Druon expense.
"Oh… little Moira, how is she doing?"
"Good, her leg is completely healed but the other…"
"I know… this won't be easy, after all, that cheeky Princess is the judge. And now… hehehehe she is detained in her room."
"What are you talking about, Master?
"About the cake, Moira is preparing some cake, doesn't she?"
"…"
"Anyway let her inside."
Moira was carrying a cake with her little arms. She insisted on carrying it to show it to Anne that morning but the palace of the little Princess was closed to any visits. Even Callum was denied entrance and they could only wait outside.
'I want to go see her,' she signaled to Callum. They had developed their own way of talking, somehow she felt that the red-eyed man was very familiar with her, and not just the physical appearance.
"You can't, she is detained by the Queen."
'I don't care, I want to go inside,' she signaled again with those indifferent eyes. Every two days a week, she would go to Anne and let her taste her inventions and progress. It had become such a custom that she found it difficult to not see the Princess for that long. 'I will jump the wall and then the window.'
"It will be difficult. There are guards on every window and door."
'You will distract them.'
"Okay," he nodded without saying more. He also wanted to see his Master, after all, she had let him spent time with Moira even neglecting his own job for a few days.
*cough*
They were so immersed in their little talk that they failed to notice the handsome Wizard by the side listening to them and, of course, Druon.
"Vincent, are they ignoring me?"
"Yes, Master."
He now understood the little Princess, once she had asked him to give her a temporary flower potion. She wanted to test it in a pair of red-eyed bad-mannered pair of beings. He didn't understand at first and thought it was only a joke but it seems that even in holding grudges, the little evildoer had a reasonable logic.
"Little Moira, how are you?"
'…' She only looked at the wizard with her indifferent gaze. Somehow she didn't feel that good sharing more than one expression for another human being. The Callum guy and the Princess were enough.
"This… oh! are you carrying your cake? It looks delicious."
'He said it looked delicious,' she signaled Callum.
"Yes, he did," Callum looked at Druon in a new light. "Good."
'Shall I give him a piece?'
"You should, he seems eager to taste it."
The Wizard was a bit confused, when did he say he wanted to taste it?
"I… no… but…" Druon only wanted to give a simple compliment out of his flirtatious nature but he would never dare to taste anything made by those two. It would certainly be a painful experience.
However, the little girl was so unusually excited that she had already cut a piece of the slightly burned cake.
'Here, for you,' her big eyes with a bit of a glint was a first for him. She looked adorable and he could not reject him. Well, who am I kidding, he would outrightly turn her down cruelly, if not for the red-eyed man also looking at him with appreciative eyes.
"O… okay, little Moira," he gulped and took the fork with careful eyes. 'Do I have some potion for stomachache, do I?'

"Hahahaha!"
The tower of a certain Princess was filled with unrestrained laughter from a self-proclaimed outstanding and evil villainess.
"Hahahaha, he did what?" Anne had heard from her cute maid Tia that the idiot wizard was knocked off in his chamber for a whole week for eating the cake of Moira.
"Sigh… yes, Princess, little Moira was taking her weekly check-up and was carrying her cake that she made for you, but Master Druon was offered a piece."
Tia would never forget the first time Moira came with her little cake to be tasted. She arrived with so much confidence that all the maids had thought that she finally did it. The cake looked passable but… the taste… of course, Anne didn't eat it, she just shamelessly made Callum take the first bite… cough… that man would never say no.
Poor Callum.
