The Capital of Lith was in a big commotion as there was going to be an incredible event today, a show of several carriages from the Palace will walk around the streets to celebrate the end of a long wait. The people's hearts were filled with joy and many stores had opened earlier than ever to decorate the streets using the colors of the Kingdom, red and golden yellow.
No one could contain the excitement, the people were jumping from side to side of the shops with immense joy. They knew that the King's people hadn't mentioned it yet, but the rumors said that the Wizard Druon had finally done it. He had achieved the cure for sadness. How many tears will he be able to cure, he is a true hero!
Now, the one that offered herself to be the first to test it, even if they were not sure if it would work and there could be many risks, the one that bravely left her imprisonment for the sake of the population. The one that made everything possible, and stepped in front not minding the warnings and advices, she was the most outstanding Princess of the Kingdom of Lith.
Princess Anne was going to be the one taking the first shot. What a great princess!
"My Princess, it's time."
"I understand, let's do it."
"Yes, I assure you, this will be the cure. You don't have to worry anymore after this."
"Thank you, Great Wizard Druon, your enormous effort will always be remembered and will pass through history as your most noble deed."
"Thank you, Your Highness."
The Princess extended her hand as the noble Wizard kneeled and kiss it. The picture, the words, the feeling, everything was perfect, except the rolling eyes from the King and Queen standing behind, the Duke of Mills shaking from trying to stop the laughter coming out, and his beautiful son sighing nonstop. Even Tia didn't know what to do anymore, her poker face was the most trained after the Prime Minister.
However, the only one jumping with enthusiasm and clapping with all her might was the little Rose Prim, the one that had become the number one follower and fan of the Princess.
"Awesome, Daddy ... Daddy, this is amazing. I want to be like the Princess when I grow up."
Prime Minister couldn't help but flinch at the heavy declaration from his sweet daughter. If she became like the Princess, it would be a… it would be a major disaster.
"Darling, Rose," he kneeled beside his daughter and for the first time, his serious and cool eyes reflected the significance of the moment. His word had to pass through the memories of his daughter and be there for all her life. "My daughter, you shall listen to me, as what I am going to tell you is very important, do you understand?"
"Yes, father."
"There is something you should never forget, being different from the others is a talent that all the people possess in every form and kind, sometimes being different could be good, sometimes it will bring you difficulty, so if we find someone with a strange kind of difference, we must help them endure it not replace them, do you understand?"
"No… I don't"
"I mean, the Princess is different from all of us, that is why she is kind of… *cough* exceptional, she will need someone like you in the future."
"Really, how?"
"To help her remember…"
"What?"
"The real world."
The ones around the Prime Ministers couldn't help but spy on his little conversation. And they agreed, everything he said was right… everything, though they knew what were his real intentions.
"Prime Minister," the voice of Princess Anne reached the ears of the father and daughter. She had heard their little words too. "Thank you, to recognize that I am more exceptional than anyone should have been a difficult task."
When did he say that?
"Also I understand that you want to help me, but helping me is helping the Kingdom and I bet you will be very busy as the extraordinary man you are…" she smiled.
'Damn, she is smiling,'
'Oh God, no, she is smiling,'
'What is this evildoer thinking now?'
'Hehehehehe, what does this crazy Princess has in mind, so much fun.'
'She looks like an angel when smiling,'
'Princess… sigh,"
They were the thoughts of everyone present, they knew what that smile represents. However, contrary to their expectations, she didn't say anything but make the Wizard proceed with the application of the cure.
One hour later, the announcement of a big celebration under the name of the Prime Minister came to the entire Capital.
"Mom! Mom! Look, that is the carriage of the princess!"
"Yes, it is, darling, let's follow it."
The gates of the Palace opened to let the carriage make the walk of celebration around the streets. The knights were spreading money and candies around the crowd and even the marching band was called to increase the cheerful atmosphere.
However, suddenly the convoy deviated from the usual path, they were heading towards a street nearby the National Park. Then the carriage of the Princess pulled over a small store that was known for alleviating the hearts of people with cute big eyes, fluffy ears, soft fur, and playful tails.
The badump in the Princess's heart was loud enough for everyone to hear, her happiness was so intense that it was spreading to every single person, sending smiles to even the angry ones.
Then… she saw it… the one she was expecting.
"My… my precious," her eyes widened and signaled the shop owner. "My… my precious."
The old man didn't know what to say, as he tried to understand but only after a knight with red eyes whispered something to his ear, he woke up and assented in understanding.
The fluffy white-haired and beautiful creature came running at high speed while moving its tail. His bright black eyes looked as if glistering and the soft white hair was shining beautifully.
"My… my precious," the princess said while extending her arms. The knights, though, were a bit anxious, as the big white dog was about to clash with the little body of their Princess.
However, the next moment, it stopped in his tracks and inclined his head to one side and then to the other, then he moved a paw to the front and then another stepping closer little by little. His nose recognizing a smell, a familiar smell, then Anne leaned her head to let him inspect her and as their eyes were looking at each other, he licked her nose and she hugged him.
"Gandalf!"
