Ah Slytherin common room. The best room to get the juiciest information about absolutely anyone in the entire school. And that included teachers. I didn't really like it much as my friends were all in Gryffindor but it was still a good.
I found out that Ronald Weasley liked a girl in his class. I could have sworn it was Granger but who knows. That was until I overheard Pansy Parkinson. I went over to her slowly. "Is that right" I asked.
"Excuse me? You think I'm lying?" She said looking frustrated.
"Did I say you were" I replied. She just rolled her eyes. I swear this girl better fix her attitude or else.
"Just tell me will ya. So Ron likes Hermione?" I continued.
"What's it to you?" she asks.
"They happen to be best friends of mine, thank you very much" I said getting quite agitated.
"So if they're your friends, then why wouldn't you have figured it out on your own?" Damn! She made a good point there.
"Look, Pansy, you better..." I started saying. I then got interrupted by another girl Tracy Davis.
"Who the hell do you think you are talking to her like that" I'd had enough! I swear these girls are all up themselves. I walked away rolling my eyes.
I was so frustrated at this point.
"Draco?" I said as I walked up to him.
"Control your bloody girlfriend will ya" I snapped
"My girlfriend?" he looked confused.
"Pansy, you weirdo" I said. Now he looked extremely confused.
"She's not my girlfriend Y/N, I don't like her" he said kind of embarrassed.
"Oh wait...sorry...hold on a sec" I walked up to where Pansy and Tracy were and stepped up onto the table next to them.
"ATTENTION! ATTENTION EVERYONE". Everyone in the common room looked up at me. This was it. This was my chance to humiliate her.
"CAN I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION" I shouted.
"I hate to inform you Pansy but Draco Malfoy doesn't like you! Obviously this thing you call a relationship only works one way. Awww poor Pansy really thought
Draco would love her" I stepped down onto the floor and everyone around me started to laugh. Well there you have it.
"Two can play that game, Y/N" Pansy said.
"Excuse me" I replied.
"Hey guys. Did you know a Slytherin not only likes a Gryffindor but a WEASLEY!!!" Pansy announced. Are you serious I thought. What is wrong with her? How did she even know? God I hate her so much.
"Wait are you serious?" a girl shouted!
"Yep Y/N here likes GEORGE WEASLEY!!" Everyone started to laugh. And not towards Pansy anymore but to me. Damn!! Well there's karma for you I guess.
I tried to deny it.
"No I don't!!" I stated quickly.
"HAHAHAHAH" Laughter. Just laughter all throughout the common room. I had had enough! I ran out. I was so frustrated. How could she do that to me?
Then I realised for myself. It's Pansy! No surprises there. I started to tear up a bit realising that I'd never really be able to set foot in that common room for a while until things had died down.
I ran through the halls and all I could think about was that George was going to find out I liked him. I didn't want that to happen....not yet. I thought. I felt an arm grab me!
"Y/N are you okay?" And of course it was none other than George Weasley! Not now, I thought.
"Yes George I'm okay" I replied trying to wipe away my tears privately. He saw right through it of course. That's the one thing I didn't like about him.
"Y/N please tell me!" he demanded.
"George I actually need to talk to your brother for a second. Can you take me to him please. I promise I'll tell you after."
"You promise Y/N?" he asked
"Yes George of course". I lied though! There was no way I could tell him the truth. I wasn't ready.
George led me to the Gryffindor common room where Fred was.
"Fred, Y/N wants to talk to you" George said. He'd been talking to Lee. Fred turned to look at me.
"Me L/N?" he asked.
"Yes you Weasley now lets go" I demanded. He seemed to be taking forever so I walked over, grabbed his arm and started out the door.
"Whoa! What's the rush?" he asked slowly down.
"I just need to talk to you okay. Now lets go!" I replied. I led him down into a secret hallway and into a small room. I had found this room earlier in the year. A room just for myself where I could have my own time.
"Fred this is really important okay!" I started to say.
"I need you to promise you won't tell anyone! Not even your brother. Especially not your brother"
"Oh okay" he said looking a bit confused. "PROMISE ME FRED" I demanded
"Okay okay Y/N I PROMISE!" he said!
"Fred I like someone" I said sighing
"YOU LIKE SOMEONE!! Y/N WHO IS IT?" he asked excitedly.
"Um well...don't judge me okay"
"Y/N JUST TELL ME" He was so anxious now. He was gonna burst.
"Okay okay well I like one of your bothers" I said
"Really? Y/N come on just tell me" he demanded
"I like George" I mumbled to myself
"Who" he asked.
"George" I said again but still quiet enough hoping he wouldn't hear it.
"Y/N WHO, speak up" he said
"GEORGE WEASLEY OKAY! I LIKE GEORGE WEASLEY!! THERE I SAID IT." He as shocked. He didn't know what to say. A few seconds passed and all I got from him was a laugh. I knew I shouldn't have told him.
"Well, say something will ya" I demanded.
"You like my brother!!!!!!!? Ewwwwwww"
"Wow Weasley make me feel worse about myself why don't you!" I was getting really annoyed.
Dammit this was a bad idea.
"I'm sorry" he said.
"But why George? Why not me I'm amazing" he continued. I rolled my eyes. Wow how thick can ya get! I thought to myself.
"Fred stop it! Seriously though you can't tell anyone especially not George okay" I looked up at him and he was still laughing. He covered his mouth to try and hide it but failed.
"YOU HEAR ME WEASLEY"
"Yes yes Y/N I do okay I won't I won't"
"Thank you Fred! I really appreciate it" After what seemed like forever we headed back to the Gryffindor common room. George walked up to me quite excited.
"So Y/N you gonna tell me what's going on?" Oh shoot! I forgot. I remembered I had made a promise.
"Oh, George, I um...." I started to say. Fred came up to me wrapped his arm around me and started to talk. He tried to get George's mind off of me and onto him. That wasn't so hard as that's always the case.
"So Georgie, are we gonna finish preparing for that epic prank?" Fred asked. Straight away George's attention was right back onto Fred. Thank you so much!!!
"Let's go Fred. Y/N I'll see ya later. We've got some important business to attend to" George said. As He walked away I pulled Fred aside for a moment.
"Thank you" I whispered to him.
"No worries Y/N" I gave each of them a smile and decided to head back to the Slytherin common room. I can do this I reassured myself. So what if they make fun of me. I couldn't care less to be honest.
As I slowly walked into the common room I heard everyone start to laugh again. Wow! Seriously about two hours later and they're still on about it.
"Oh grow up" I said! They all turned to look at me as I headed up stairs to my room.
"What's up with her?" Tracy asked!
"Who knows...everything I'd say!" Pansy finished off!
"Oh leave her alone will ya" I heard Draco say in the distance. I smiled to myself. Maybe he wasn't so bad after all.
