Chapter 149 - Ch 149: Luna <3

Sally smiled faintly and said. "That's amazing how you accomplish your goal to mind-link with Beast. Sounds like Beast and that antler male lion gave you quite the challenge. But your poor mother. Would you have continued if your fourth attempt was unsuccessful?"

my friends and I chuckled for a second.

"Sadly, regardless of how my mother felt, I would have," I confessed smirkingly. "I was on out of my father's authority as a new king, trying to make a name for myself. This all happened long before I became Primary King. So I thought, what better way to make a name for yourself. Then to mind-link with the first land creature by choosing the wolf. Once I accomplished my goal. Other young kings like me, started to do the same and mind-linked with different wolf packs within other territories. But I was the first known young King to be successful with doing it. My Grandfather Phil who was the Primary King was quite impressed. Nevertheless, my poor mother wasn't thrilled about it."

Sally laughed hysterically with us for the moment. It was so nice to see her sadness was gone. At this moment she seemed so happy, I felt. Reflecting upon the fact she's had it rough lately, it's nice to see her smile.

Sally giggled as she rolled her eyes and said. "Well, I hope it was well worth it for you. But I think I'd be on your mother's side."

We continued to laugh at her comment. She spoke like any typical nurturing hybrid woman would. Which shows me she has the good qualities to be a mother. So I am yearning I'll get her pregnant by our honeymoon. I know she'll be a beautiful mother to our children.

"It was well worth it," I admitted smirkingly. I looked straight ahead seeing who I wanted to see. "Look ahead, Sally."

Sally looked across the creek to notice it was that same pure white wolf that climbed over the rocky steep. Was now climbing back down. Her mouth curled a smile to see the breathtaking creature stoking its way back with such grace.

The white wolf came up to the opposite side of the creekside but paused for a moment looking at Sally with those beautiful emerald green eyes. Which was a bit unsettling for Sally.

"Is this wolf part of Beast's pack." She sorta glanced at me asking in a mere whisper.

I looked at my bride and partly smiled so she knew it was ok. "This is Beast's mate, the Luna of the pack. I call her Luna since she's white like the moon phase. Ironically, she is the luna or betta of the pack. So I felt the name suits her, quite well." I told Sally as she gave me a warm glimmer.

Luna cocked her head at Sally for a second and her ear pointed up high. A lot of times, Luna's expressions were no different than a curious pup, I thought. But Luna is a gracious she-wolf and took care of the other she-wolves in her pack. Luna was also strong and I gave her credit for putting up with Beast. Beast was pridefully headstrong and stubborn like me.

After a few minutes, Luna started to elegantly leap onto the rocks sticking up above the water. Until she finally made it to our side. Her paws were slightly wet but still clean. Luna was always well-groomed, considering how brightly white her fur coat is. Her emerald green eyes were hooked on staring at Sally for a second.

"Why is she looking at me like that," Sally nervously asked in another whisper.

"Just relax," I said softly.

Luna started to make her move and came over as her nostrils flared to sniff my bride's scent. Sally was uneasy so I touched her bare knee to relax her. Luna came forth and started sniffing up her legs and then to her knees. Her head went over Sally's leap sniffing her stomach. Which caused Sally to lift her arms. We guys let out a chuckle, we knew Luna was checking if Sally with pregnant, she-wolves love unborns. When Luna discovered Sally wasn't pregnant. She mark Sally's knees and rubbed her head up against Sally's stomach. Once she was done sniffing and marking my bride. Luna laid down in an upright posture in front of Sally's feet gleaming through her emerald green eyes at Sally.

Gradually Sally's arm dropped down and she asked me confused. "What is she doing?"

I smirked and explained. "Again in Luna's eyes, you are my mate. She's seeing you as a companion partner. Like how Beast is with me only without the mind-link. She just marked you by rubbing her head up against your knees and stomach."

I left out the part she was also searching if she and I had an unborn together.

"Oh, and in case you're interested to know she never did this with Rachel." I lastly added thinking it would help Sally to feel more comfortable.

But I was dead wrong when her eyes scoffed at me glaring.

"You aren't going back to that topic," she sorta hissed.

Aaron crack up for a second then said seeming to edge it on. "Sounds like you two had an interesting topic earlier."

"We did indeed and I got put in the mutt-house over it," I said not making it any better by joking around. Making Aaron and Jay laugh real hard while my sweets rolled her eyes but glimmered a faint smile.

"About time someone put you in the mutt-house." Jay proceeded to crack up.

I teased to purposely get a response from her. "It was a very interesting topic with a failed insult."

Sally just rolled her eyes and commented sarcastically. "Wrong," she giggled. "It was a good one and you're only in denial."

All three of us guys laughed so hard from her sassy remark.

Jay said laughing, "I think you met your match, Cory. I don't think you're going to be able to handle her."

"No, probably not," I said chuckling while giving her a flirty wink. She eat it right up and blushed herself a peachy color. She was trying to hold in her giggles but it failed.
