Some of the guys and I just pulled back in from meeting another ally Head King at this nearby park my family owns. Parking my car, I looked at my phone still seeing Grandfather hasn't messaged me back about this woman I took off the businessman. I'll probably need to call him again since he's forgetful at times to check his phone.
I get out of my car to see some of the guys were just chatting outside but I wanted to go in and check on her. For whatever reason, she is still on my mind.
Just entering inside, I found Hunter, Ash, and JJ here with that look to know something is up.
"What is it?" I asked firmly.
Ash replied. "There seems to be a situation that you would wanna know."
"What seems to be the problem?" I asked firmly again.
Hunter kinda gives an odd smirk and told. "It's the slave girl you had in your room. She has somehow managed to escape out of your bedroom. It appears she used the balcony and climbed down. The doors were the only thing open."
JJ added. "Yeah, I went in to check on her broken arm and to make sure she was doing okay with that sedation she is under. And I figured I could run some bloodwork on her too. But to my discovery, she was nowhere to be found inside your room."
I smirked slightly looking at my friends shaking my head not sure how to take this in.
"So you're telling me there are about three-hundred men in this mansion and that little lady somehow managed to climb down my balcony, escaping me?" I asked, in slight disbelief.
With a small smirk on his face. "Yup, you heard us correctly," Ash answered with amusement.
I was speechless at this point. Meanwhile, they were each grinning to their ears.
With a smirk on his face, JJ let out, "well, it seems like you have yourself a handful, Cory."
I only smirked hearing my friend's paused his words. Like he was waiting for me to give some form of reaction.
JJ grins oddly and continued. "You know, I thought for a second that you were losing your mind. Whenever I heard you took in a stray doll from out of the Businessmen Society." He chuckles for a minute. "Seeing what she pulled here, I can see why you are so interested in her. She has me intrigued now. No hybrid-woman has ever been able to fight off a sedation drug. That was a heavy drug, I told Aaron to give her!" He said with a mind-blown expression.
I looked up at JJ with a small grin on my face. Yet, still, I said nothing and only reach my hand in my pocket to get my cell and dial for Primary Nick. And held it up to my ear to hear the phone ring for a few moments.
Nick tiredly answered, "hello?"
"Are you about done with the task I have previously given you?" I asked.
"No, I am not," Nick relied taking a breath from his end. "Why is there something you need?"
I replied, "yes, I'm sending you a tracker code to locate the woman, I had taken into my custody from today. She managed to escape from my bedroom."
Now with a slight laugh. "Oh, you already lost her?" Nick asked amused.
I chuckled back and said. "Just find her once you can do that for me."
Nick said çhuckling, "Yes, I will do that once I am finished here. Most likely won't be until tomorrow."
Without any concern in my voice. "I'm not worried about when. With that hidden tracker tag inside her. There isn't anywhere she can go. But regardless of that, you are still the best tracker Nick. Even without a tag, I know you can find anyone." I said praising him.
While laughing, Nick replied. "This is true!! Although, the tracker makes everything so much easier on me. Once I am done here consider her as good as found and back to you."
"Perfect!" was my only reply.
We hung up the phone and I quickly send the code from her tracker to Nick. Afterward, I put the phone inside my pocket. Then looked at JJ, Ash, and Hunter standing in front of me for a second. Oddly gawking their eyes at me
"Ash. Hunter. Go get a few groups of men. Look around the property and outside the gate as well. See if you find her or even find any trail as to what direction she may have gone." I order to them.
They only nodded to my order and walked out the front doors to do, as I had requested from them. JJ stood there quietly pretending to look at his phone. Yet, he had this weird smirk on his face. I could see he was trying not to completely lose it with laughter.
"Go ahead! Let it out!" I smirk at my friend's mocking face. "I know you have some smart-mouth comment to say to me!" I said çhuckling.
"No. No. I'll just leave this one go. I'll only state. It seems like you may have underestimated her." Said JJ laughing at my statement.
"Perhaps, maybe I did." When thinking I touched my forehead as continued to speak frazzled by her behavior. "Regardless, this is why I placed a tracker inside her." Taking my hand away from rubbing my temple. "I am surprised she is such a little fighter. I'm fairly amused that she climbed down my balcony too. She is quite a desperate girl to want her freedom this badly."
JJ nods in response and he walked outside with me to this veranda, so I could get some fresh air. As I saw Hunter and Ash collecting some men to see if they find her. I've been watching her sleep on my laptop. That's how I've known if she's been awake or not. Go figure, I leave to only come back to learn she is gone.

JJ and I got comfortable on the patio table. Mike and Matt came walking up. Taking a seat at the table with us.
"I've heard you lost your new little slave girl?" With a chuckle, Matt said.
With a small dumbfounded smile, I said, "yup, you have heard correct."
"Bored with her yet?" Mike asked laughing. "Are you about ready for me to take her off your hands?"
"Nope!" Oddly, I looked at Mike and chuckle when replying. "She is entertaining me quite well at the moment. It's funny, I gave her my serious bold voice not to run again. Guess I didn't put enough fear into her. Maybe I have to break her from this fight from thinking so stupidly. Like she has any chance to escape me."
Matt explained," maybe, but think of it this way and look at this through her eyes. She isn't seeing you as her new master because you put her master down. She's looking at this as a chance to be free. You haven't yet branded her as yours. But she's never been owned by a Primary King. Kingdom Society is new to her, including these lands. She's been sheltered in a cage most of all her life. Businessman keep their slaves close to them. We don't shelter our slaves after they adjusted to their new surroundings. She is being introduced to a whole new lifestyle. The only thing she is seeing at this moment is this could be her chance to freedom."
Mike added. "Exactly, you'll need to break her. However, I don't feel pain will completely break this girl. She's running because her fear is driving her to flee. Her mind opened up this spark of hope for freedom. You need to approach her differently by giving her some care and security. Something she most likely never had. Plus come on, we all can see you have a liking for this woman. This could be a bond you're fighting?"
