This time when I woke, it felt like I was on a very comfortable bed. It was so soft, I almost didn't feel like waking up. I could feel the sedation drug wearing off. Again I found myself still tied secure, and I still had the blindfold on.
So I just lay here for the moment acting like I wasn't yet awake and tried to listen for voices in the room. Perhaps I was alone?
Either way, I best be careful. This could be another test for me. Seems like, I am dealing with someone who may like games. Whoever he is it appears he's higher-ranked hybrid-man which is more dangerous.
I heard what sounded like a door open and close. So I laid as still as I can be while these footsteps approach closer.
"Well seems like someone woke up. I'd say you also heal fast and your intake of drugs wears off fairly fast too. I called my guy JJ who works more with medication and sedation. We got the correct dosage in you this second time you were drugged. You should still be sleeping it off." This unknown man said.
His voice seemed calm in his tone. But yet I was scared because I tried to run. That can be a huge punishment for a nobody like me. So I was scared. I could tell by his voice this was the boss. He was the one who ordered to place this tracker somewhere in my body and he murdered my Master for whatever reason. I had no idea what he planned to do with me. Nor did I know with whom I was dealing with a Baron or a King?
He spoke more as I heard the sound of his steady powerful yet captivating voice coming closer to me. Then I felt him taking off the blindfold, as I lay on the bed. Practically holding my breath in. Until his hands lifted the blindfold away. That's when the sharp lighting stabbed into my closed eyelids.
I wasn't fully used to the light so it took me a second or two for my eyes to adjust. Until I was able to slowly open them. Then I looked around for a moment, as I slowly sat up with caution. The room was huge and fancy with a lot of black furniture inside. It had a bathroom, a couch near the bathroom wall side, two nightstands on each bedside, and even an extended hallway leading to another room. It had a beautiful balcony view of this gorgeous new nature scenery just outside it.
I'm so used to the city. Yet, this all seemed to be like a country landscape. Since I saw trees instead of tall buildings. I was most definitely further away from my city's skyscraper buildings. That my eyes had only known for so long.
Looking down I was correct with guessing to myself. That I was indeed laying on a huge bed with black blanket covers. I took my eyes back up to see. He was standing right in front of me from being in the middle of the bed. He gave me this eccentric look. My guess is he could tell I had never seen anything like this.
With a faint leer smile. "You seemed quite surprised and dazed of the room."He said still seeming amused. After some silence with still hearing no given reply. "Is Mute going to speak with me yet?" He asked in curiosity.
He gave me a small smile yet it seemed cold. I was finding it difficult to read his emotionless expressions.
Fearfully, I looked at him scared." I don't have a name." I said in a shy soft sweet voice.
He looked oddly happy that I had spoken to him.
The man spoke with a light smile saying. "Well, then I'll have to figure out a name for you. My friend Jay is right. You're to beautiful be called Mute. What did your previous owner call you by?"
"My Master called me slave. Everyone who's ever owned me has always called me Slave. It's the only name I've known." With a shy scared gentle voice, I replied
The man nodded seemingly humming and replied. "Well, that is all going to change now. I decided to keep you for the time being. I'll have to come up with an actual real name for you. You are very unique. Why is your blood dark?" As he just randomly asked.
"My blood has always been like this. I've always had unusual healing abilities. I never understood why?" I answered partially confused.
Hardly showing any emotion."Makes no sense you have no parents and no bloodline. You were made in a Maternity Bio Factory. You were bred for slavery purposes only. Yet, I am bemused why are you carrying a high ranked gene. Since your blood is dark. Hybrid women don't have these kinda healing abilities either. How can someone like you be owned by a Highest Ranked Businessman?" The Boss replied, deeply thinking. As I only faintly shrugged my shoulders just as confused.
After a second of silence, he continued to say. "Your value is priceless having traits like yours. However, before I decide what to do with you. I am going to dig a little deeper into this matter. In the meantime." Suddenly his voice turned scary and cold. "You better think twice before trying to run again. Because you can't run or hide from me ever. I will always find you no matter where you go. I hope you understand this clearly." He said giving a cold threat.
I looked up at this man who may be my new Master. I was scared and confused. I didn't understand what he meant by my blood. I have high ranked blood and no other hybrid-woman has my healing abilities. How could this be?
My thoughts were racing once again. There always racing, why can't they stop! Then I looked up and saw he was still stepping closer to me from on the bed. Making me even more nervous and wishing, I could just read his thoughts.
Even though he was jaw-droppingly gorgeous, I was still petrified of him. Especially, for the main reason being. That I had no idea what he was wanting me for. Nor did I have any clue on what he was talking about with my traits or blood being darker.
Again he said as her body shivered with fear, "you seem confused and worried?"
"Yes! Please let me go! All I've ever wanted to be was free!" I blurted with a pleading voice.
To her great shock that froze her body stiff again.
As he sat on the bed rubbing the side of my face. "Shhhh. All will be fine. You may call me Cory instead of Master, Highness, Sir, sire, or whatever you called your previous owner. Normally only those who are close to me call me by my real name. But you will be the exception." Cory replied with tranquility. He looked around the room and back to me. "This is my room your in one of them at least. Will be sharing the same space."
He took his hand off my face. Realizing I tried moving my head away from his touch. That is when he untied all the black ropes from around my hands and legs.
And then he gently grabbed my broken arm looking at it more closely, saying. "This bone is healing nicely. It's almost fully healed." He looked at my face again. "Go on ask your questions. I can see you have some."
I Looked up at him shocked. How can he read my thoughts? To even know my mind raced with questions.
"Why do we have to share a room?" In a soft voice, I asked. "Can I not have my own? "
Cory continued to look at me and with a straight face, said seeming adamant. "No. We aren't doing that. This room is big enough for you to make your own. I have no problem sharing it with you." After another pausing of silence between us. "I'll let you relax and get settled into your new home for now. Until I decide what I want to do with you."
He stood himself up to walk down the small hall in the bedroom leading into another room. At that point, I heard a door open and then snap closed
My heart was racing so I looked outside the balcony. At this time it was the only thing to calm me. I wanted to cry but I can't. Even though, I wasn't one who cried a lot. I've always noticed if I did cry. My tears were the color of blood and even tasted like blood. So I knew I was a bit divergent. My old owners never seem to give it much notice. Other than the fact they enjoyed I healed faster to be abused again.
This new hybrid-man who now had me seemed frightfully mellow. He's only shocked me once. Now he's given me his fair warning about running away. Normally I'd be beaten if I ever pulled something like that.
Usually, I always call my other owners Master. Never by their first name. Yet, he wants me to call him by his name and share the same room with him? I am dreading this, situation. Usually, these are the signs they mean for you to bear their child. Has my dissimilar drawn in so much attention to this unknown higher-ranked hybrid-man? He said don't call him Highness.
Oh no!
It is my nightmare.
He's a King!!!
