Chereads / The adventures of the other Nephilim / Chapter 35 - The (Last) Great King of Persia

Chapter 35 - The (Last) Great King of Persia

Jophiel, beauty of God, spy of God, watchman of God and my rock is God.

Jophiel is the Angel known as wisdom, understanding and judgment.

It is also said that Jophiel is the most beautiful of all God's Angels.

She is said to have divine beauty.

Which would make her God's Aphrodite.

Archangel Jophiel has a son, Job.

Mother and son are within heaven, looking at the paintings made by legendary artists from across creation.

(The dead artists like to come together and paint all kinds of paintings together)

" What is this one called? " asked Job.

" This one is called; The Last Supper, " said Jophiel.

" Wow. What about this one? "

" This painting is called; The Twelve Olympian Gods Around The Round Olympus Table "

" Wow….. what about this one? "

" Now this one, is called; Job, by Léon Bonnat "

Job just looked at the life-like painting.

" Mom "

" Yes "

" Is it time for me to go… "

Jophiel was quiet.

The gentle mother now kneeled down and held her son's shoulders.

" Listen to me " said Jophiel while gently looking her son in the eyes " The journey you are about to take, can sadly not be avoided, but, the adventures that you will go on, will fill the canvas that is your life with lots of color, till in the end, a beautiful and unique painting is made "

Mother and son now embraced.

From thin air now appeared Jophiel's flaming sword.

Jophiel now gave her famous sword to her son.

" You are giving it to me?... " said Job in disbelief.

" I am your mother. Since I can not be there to protect you myself, I will at least give you my flaming sword " said Jophiel with a mother's smile.

Mother and son now embraced one last time.

" I love you mother… " said Job as a tear ran down his cheek.

" And I will always love you… my little Job "

Job was now teleported away, and Jophiel was now alone, among the many lifeless paintings.

She looked one last time.

At the painting of Job.

A bit of context;

The King in this story is Khosrow the second, a mighty Persian King.

In this story.

Shah Khosrow (II) was able to become good friends with Caliph Abu Bakr and Emperor Heraclius.

These three great rulers even hired the legendary Mimar Sinan to come to their Holy Cities, to rebuild and fix some of their monuments.

For the Shah.

Sinan rebuilt the Zoroastrian Fire Temple.

For the Emperor.

Sinan rebuilt the holy shrine in Golgotha.

Persia has truly never been more at peace then it is now under Shah Khosrow the second.

Let us see what other adventures await.

The year is; 620 CE

Location; Iran

Part 1

Job found himself within one of the many bazaars within Greater Khorasan.

For the time being, Job hid his mother's flaming sword.

Walking around the Bazar, Job notices the many colors of the cloths and clothes.

Job could smell the incense, the food and even the tea.

Job even saw the three great poets; Saadi, Hafez and Firdausi, all three were just enjoying a nice cup of tea together.

Job now walked out of the bazaar where he saw a warrior, who was saying;

" Are there any who are willing to take me on! "

But the people just passed him by.

" Oh come on. It will be fun! "

But the people still just kept on walking.

" Go home Rostam, no one is in the mood today " said a citizen.

" Man…. you guys are just no fun… " said Rostam.

" What do I get if I win? " said Job.

Rostam looked at the little boy in front of him.

" Why. You get a ride on my trusty and loyal stallion; Rakhsh "

Job looked at the beautiful horse, whose fur was like rose leaves that have been scattered upon a saffron ground.

" Deal " said Job with a smile.

Rostam let out a warrior's laugh.

" Ha-ha. I admire your spirit little one. But I must warn you. I have fought millions and I have yet to lose a single battle "

" Then it seems like this will be your first loss " said Job who now pulled out his flaming sword.

Rostam let out another warrior's laugh.

" How magnificent! That sword reminds me of the dragon I once killed "

Rostam prepared his weapon and an epic battle now began.

To Rostam's surprise, Job was actually able to hold his own.

A crowd gathered to watch the warriors fight.

Job quickly noticed that his flaming sword had no effect on Rostam's armor.

" This armor is called BABR-E-BAYAN. It is invulnerable against fire, water and weapons of all types... but. Let us be fair " said Rostam as he now took off his armor.

The battle resumed.

And after what felt like hours, Rostam won.

Job was on the ground, exhausted.

" It seems like I stood no chance of victory…. " said Job.

Rostam just looked at the little boy.

Rostam picked up Job and now mounted his stallion.

" But… I lost? " said Job confused.

" That may be. But this is a reward for your courage " said Rostam while smiling.

Rostam and Job now rode towards the palace.

" Tell me. Where are your parents? I wish to congratulate them on having a wonderful son like yourself "

Rostam now noticed that Job was quiet.

" Was it a war? "

" No….. I was just not allowed to be with my mother anymore…" said Job quietly.

" I see. So you have no place to call home? " said Rostam.

Job shook his head.

" Very well. I am sure the Shah would not mind adopting another child " said Rostam with a smile.

Before Job could ask what he meant, they had now arrived at the palace of the Shah, where three boys, about Job's age, now came out to greet them.

" Rostam! " yelled the three boys.

" Hello kids " said Rostam with a smile as he helped Job down from Rakhsh.

The three boys were surprised, for they thought that Rostam had lost a battle, so they now started to ask poor Job a billion questions.

" Alright boys. Give the poor boy some room to breath " said a man coming out from the palace.

" Yes father… " said the three boys.

" Rostam " said the man with a nod.

" Phoenix " said Rostam with a nod " Is the Shah busy? " asked Rostam.

" He is, " said Phoenix as he now noticed Job.

" Hello little one. And what might your name be? " said Phoenix with a grandfather's smile.

" My name is Job "

" Good to meet you Job. My name is Phoenix, son of Amyntor. And these three boys are Molossus, Pielus and Pergamus sons of Neoptolemus, and grandsons of Achilles "

The sons of Neoptolemus waved at Job.

Rostam now took Job to meet the Shah.

" Ah. My general, welcome back " said Shah Khosrow.

" Shah " said Rostam with a respectful tone.

The Shah now noticed little Job.

" And who might you be? " said the Shah as he kneeled down to Job.

" My name is Job…. and I was hoping to call this palace my home…" said Job as his cheeks were red as a tomato.

The Shah was a bit surprised by Job's words.

" He has no place to call home, " said Rostam.

" You need not say more. I already decided that he may call my palace his new home " said the Shah as he petted Job's head.

Job got all shy.

" Now then. Allow me to show you your new home " said the Shah as he showed Job around his new home.

H-E, the lord of thunder and the people of the stars

It was during a clear moon night, a sea of stars could be seen on the sky, and in the middle of this sea, was the full moon.

Job was not at the palace, he was sleep-walking.

While Job's mind was in the world of dreams.

His body was moving on its own…. or by someone in control.

Job was walking towards a palace made of the stars themselves.

This palace had twelve towers, each beautifully made.

Job had now arrived at the entrance, and the moment he entered the palace, the whole castle now started to fly away.

Job now awoke and looked down at Earth.

" Wha… " said Job with a stupefied look on his face, while the planet was getting smaller and smaller in view.

" You have finally arrived "

Job now saw a child, about his height and age.

" Who are you?.... where am I? " uttered Job slowly.

" Try and focus on one question at the time " said the child with a smile which only a child could make.

" Where is the bathroom? "

" I will be honest. I did not expect that one…. "

After Job had gone to the man's room, the child now introduced himself.

" I am Hu, the assistance of Thoth "

(Hu is the personification of Utgard-Loki's thoughts. Hu also raced Tjalfe that one time)

" What is this place? " said Job as he looked around, dumbfounded at the exquisite structure he was standing in.

" This palace is called Ur-Kaśdim, the flying palace of the people of the stars. But come, the masters await " said Hu as he was walking to the inner rooms of the palace while Job was following him.

Job noticed 42 books and some emerald tablets.

The two boys now entered the enormes library, The hall of Amenti.

" Master, I have returned, and I have brought the Nephilim with me " said Hu.

Job now saw a man, who had a ibis sitting on his shoulder.

" Well done Hu " said the man as he now turned towards Job.

" Greetings Job. I am Thoth the Atlantean, you may call me Thoth or even Hermes if you like " said Thoth with a smile.

But Job had only one question;

" How do you know my name?.... "

" I know a lot more than just your name " said Hermes with a smirk.

" But come. The master wishes to see you " continued Thoth as he now led Job into what looked like an observatory.

Around the observatory were the many constellations, and in the middle of the room, sat one old man at a desk filled with stacks of paper.

" Master, Job is here " said Thoth.

The old man pushed some of the stacks of paper away, which made a large boom when the stacks hit the ground.

The old man had a kind face, so Job was not afraid of him.

The old man gestured that Job come closer, which Job did.

" Welcome Nephilim, Job son of Jophiel. I am Arpachshad; The Father of The Chaldeans, and this, is my palace; Ur-Kaśdim " said Arpachshad as he was holding his hands out as a sign of pride at his creation.

" Okay….. but. What am I doing here? " asked Job, who at this point had no idea what to make of the situation.

" 'They' wanted to meet you here " said Arpachshad as he pointed to another entrance into the observatory.

Job excited the observatory through the other entrance where he now saw a man and a woman, both were reading books, but when they saw Job, they put the books away.

" You have finally come, dear Job " said the woman with a smile.

" Just look at you! What a strong boy you are, " said the man.

It seemed like words failed Job, so he just had a look of;

Who are you two?

" I am Hecashkigal " said the woman.

" And I am Baalshamin, but you may call me Hadad if you please " said the man.

Job, who had gotten next to no sleep, collapsed from exhaustion.

Job now opened his eyes, and he was now back on Earth.

" I am never drinking that much milk again, damn you sons of Neoptolemos for challenging me…. " said Job.

Job was now gentle running his hand down his hair.

" What a weird dream… " said Job.

" What dream? " said Hecashkigal.

Job rushed back on his feet, and looked around the empty plain he was standing in.

" Who said that?... " said Job while a cold-sweat had soaked his clothes.

" Me, Hecashkigal "

" Where are you? "

" We are inside you, " said Baalshamin.

Job was running his hands down his chest.

" I don't know what you are trying to accomplice… but I think that you should try to calm down.. " said Baalshamin, sounding a little worried.

" I have gotten next to no sleep. I awoke in a flying castle, IN SPACE, and now I am hearing two voices in my head… HOW DO YOU EXPECT ME TO CALM DOWN! " yelled Job.

" That is a fair point…. " said Hecashkigal.

Job was now teleported back to his room.

" How… why- Job then saw his bed.

Job now jumped on his bed, where he immediately fell asleep.

" I guess we will continue the conversation in the morning… " said Hecashkigal.

" I am pretty sure that he will sleep till noon, " said Hadad with a smile.

All that could be heard now, was Job's snoring.

The two-headed puppy

Job, once again, awoke in a strange place.

He was now on an Island in the middle of the sea.

" I am so done with this…. " said Job as he had an expression of; I am so done with this.

Job looked around his surroundings.

The Island was filled with vegetation of all kinds.

" This place looks like Eden….. " said Job to himself.

" Guys, where are we? " asked Job.

" Dilmun " said Baalshamin.

" Dilmun? " said Job confused.

" The Sumerian Avalon " said Hecashkigal.

Job was still confused.

" You could also call it the Sumerian Elysium Fields, " said Hadad.

Job was now even more confused.

" Hello there child "

Job looked and now saw a mermaid man on land.

The man had scaly legs, but his upper-body looked like a normal human.

" Are you Erichthonius? " asked Job.

The man giggled.

" No, but I understand your confusion. I am Oannes. Servant of EA " said the bringer of wisdom and civilizations.

" Okay…. Do you perhaps know why I am here, in the Sumerian Avalon? " said Job.

Oannes pointed to a clearing, and then said;

" Your companion is here "

Job now saw a colossal two-headed dog, who was sleeping like a good boy.

" Who is that? " said Job filled with joy.

" That is Orthrus, the brother of Cerberus, " said Oannes.

Job walked over to Orthrus, as Job got closer, Orthrus now awoke and the big two-headed dog now started to lick Job with its two big tongues.

" Stop it, that tickles! " said Job while laughing and giggling.

Orthrus now stopped after having given Job a good deluge.

Job now started to pet Orthrus, but then Job started to cry.

" Why are you crying? " asked Oannes.

" I can't pet both heads at the same time… " said Job as he was trying to pet both of Orthrus' heads at the same time, but Orthrus was just too big, so Job could not reach.

Oannes let out a smiling sigh.

He then walked over and petted the other head of Orthrus.

" I don't get it, what is this place? " asked Job.

" This is one of the three sections of the Sumerian Underworld of which Queen Ereshkigal rules, " said Oannes.

" What are the other two? "

" I may be simpler if I just explained everything. You see.

Kur, much like Tartarus, is divided into three sections;

Kur is like Tartarus, the place where the wicked souls are punished.

Irkalla is like the Asphodel Meadows, where the ordinary souls go.

Dilmun is like the Elysium Fields, where the heroes and righteous shall find their eternal resting place " said Oannes.

" Then what are you to this place? " asked Job.

" You could say that I am the guide and protector of the righteous, " said Oannes with a smile.

It was now quiet for a bit, while Job enjoyed the heavenly wind of Dilmun.

" What do I do now? " asked Job.

" Well. I could just teleport us back home " said Hecashkigal.

" You can do that? " said Job.

" Indeed " said Hecashkigal.

" Then why did you not say anything sooner?.... " said Job confused.

" You looked like you were enjoying yourself " said Hecashkigal with what sounded like a smile.

Job now looked at Orthrus.

" Fair enough, " said Job with a smile.

" But what do we do about Orthrus' size? " said Job.

" I can cast a spell on him so he can control his size at will " said Hecashkigal, as she now casted her spell.

Orthrus was now the same size as a German Shepherd.

" What about his heads? " said Hadad.

" Oh don't worry, I am sure that I will come up with something " said Job as he now could pet both of Orthrus' heads at the same time.

Job said his farewells to Oannes and Hecashkigal now teleported all of them back to the Shah's palace.

Later, as the Shah saw the two-headed Orthrus, the Shah had only one question for Job;

" May I pet him? "

The Daevas

" Sir, who are the Daevas? " asked Job.

Shah Khosrow felt a chill run down his spine as his heart was filled with fear.

" My dear boy, I would prefer it if you never mentioned those monstrous demons again…. but it would be best if you knew of their nature and behavior… " said the Shah as he fell heavy on his throne.

" The Daevas are gods, who are meant to be rejected. They are the personification of every evil. Their favorite pastime is to bring misery of every kind upon an innocent soul… " said the Shah as he saw Job starting to shake from fear.

" Do not fear " said the Shah with a smile

" For no matter what happens, I shall not only protect my people, but I shall also protect you " said the Shah with a warm smile.

Job now stopped shaking.

Job was now in his bed, peacefully asleep.

" Job, wake up! " said Hecashkigal.

" What is it? " said Job as he awoke.

" There is trouble… " said Baalshamin.

Job was now fully awake.

Hecashkigal now teleported Job to the Throne of Solomon in Iran.

Job was walking around the crater.

He looked into the water where he could see the reflection of the moon.

Everything was peaceful.

The view, the wind and even the water.

Job then felt all of his instincts yell out in fear.

Job turned around, where he saw someone who looked like a man.

The man looked like Abdul Alhazred or Achmath, in other words, he had a hostile aura around him.

The odd it was that the man was also holding a staff.

Job was on edge, but he was also prepared for a fight.

" Who are you? " said Job as he was in control of his fear.

The man now spoke with a tone of voice that Job did not expect, the man spoke like a well-behaved gentleman.

" Forgive me Job, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Div-e Sepid, servant of great Ahriman "

Job calmed down for a moment, but it was only for a moment, for Job then asked;

" How do you know my name? "

Div-e Sepid's red eyes now glowed as he held his staff high, and a portal now opened in the water.

Job looked into the portal where he saw all kinds of monsters, from orges, demons, hellhounds and even corrupted fairies.

Job's face now turned pale from fear.

Hecashkigal quickly closed the portal.

Job now fell on his butt, exhausted.

He was gasping for air, for he had forgotten to breathe while looking into that hell of a portal.

" Calm yourself, " said Hadad.

" That… is easier said than done… " uttered Job.

Job could now see that Div-e Sepid was gone.

" Who was he? " said Job.

" Div-e Sepid, a soccer as well as a necromancer. He is the loyal servant of Ahriman, a being made up of evil itself… " said Hecashkigal.

" It is said; that it was actually Ahriman who was in Pandora's box. He managed to escape when Pandora opened her box, but his brother; Ormuzd, is still trapped inside the box, " said Hadad.

" Hope… " said Job quietly to himself.

Job was still covered in sweat.

Job looked at the calm water in front of him.

" I don't think that I will ever be able to swim again… " said Job with a nervous smile.

" Don't say that… for no matter what happens. We will always be there to watch over " said Hecashkigal with a loving smile.

" Always " said Hadad with a warm smile.

Job rested his head on his knees and then said quietly;

" Thank you…"

At the once wall of the Gorgon.

Can the servant of Ahriman be seen talking with his lord.

" My King, I am finally prepared to carry out your will " said Div-e Sepid while bowing towards the sky.

From the abyssal space itself, could the monstrous voice of Ahriman be heard;

" You have served me well, my faithful mage. You shall ready the planet. For I; L'ianaTaS-A'nOtos-N'amir'Ha shall ready this planet for my Great Old Ones, for my children.

Throdogoth l' ah'lloigshogg! "

Div-e Sepid now had a devilish grin.

" F' ah nog "

Part 2

Wrath

Wrath, fury, rage.

Wrath is defined as; Strong vengeful anger or indignation.

Lloigazath.

Job was watching Molossus, Pielus and Pergamu playing water-soccer, soccer on water.

" How are you guys standing on the sea like Jesus? " yelled Job.

" We have great strength, unmatched speed and water bending! " yelled Pielus back.

" Oh... wait. What was that last one?...." said Job confused.

" Job, why don't you join us? " asked Pergamu.

" Well…. I don't have water-bending… " said Job with a smile.

" Too bad. We could use one more man to make the game more even " said Molossus.

Job just smiled, but he really wanted to play as well, for it looked like a lot of fun…

" I can make it so that you also have this water-bending, " said Hecashkigal.

" Really?! " said Job all excitedly.

" Indeed "

" Then what are you wai-

Job now heard someone yelling;

" Help! PLEASE HELP!!! "

Job saw a man collapse.

Job quickly ran to the man's aid.

" Sir! Are you oka- Job's mind immediately shut down, as he turned the man over, Job could not believe what he was seeing.

The man had black blood coming out of his ears, mouth and eyes, all of his veins had the black color of the abyss, and his hair was gray as death.

Job did his best not to throw up, but his will only lasted a few seconds.

Job was now throwing up his breakfast.

" Please… " uttered the man slowly.

Job now put his ear to the man's mouth.

" Please… my village… they need help "

Job could now hear the man let out his final breath.

" May you find peace from all your suffering… " said Job.

" Job, what happened?! " yelled the three sons of Neoptolemos, but as the boys got closer, they saw the poor once man and froze in their steps.

" By the gods…. " were the only words which Molossus could utter.

Job whipped the little puke from his mouth.

Job had a fire within him, he was filled with wrath.

" Pielus, go and tell the Shah and Rostam what has happened and tell them to come to the nearby village. Me, Molossus and Pergamu will go ahead and check things out "

Everything now proceeded as Job had said.

While Job, Molossus and Pergamu were getting closer to the village, they could feel their noses' burning.

" What is that sour smell… " said Pergamu as he was covering his nose.

Job ignored the pain and kept on running.

But it was now his eyes which were in pain, for what Job saw, was something his mind could not comprehend.

Bodies, corpses, everywhere, black-blood, everywhere, men, women and children.

It was now Molossus and Pergamu who both puked.

Job wanted to puke but his stomach was empty.

The boys could now hear the gruesome sound of someone dying.

They ran over to where the sound came from, and saw a poor woman being ripped in two.

" What the hell is that… " said Pergamu while looking at the hideous man? Beast? Monster? Honestly, what he saw is something not even I can describe…

The abhorrent thing now devoured the remains of the woman, the motherfucker looked like he was enjoying himself.

Job gridded his teeth in pure rage.

His eyes were filled with sorrow, and his fists were fueled by wrath.

The horror now turned and looked at the three boys, the heinous thing now did something which sendt a freezing chill down through all the boys.

The gruesome monster-thing licked its lips in hunger.

Molossus and Pergamu could not bring their bodies to move, it was like they were paralyzed by ghastly horror.

Job was only able to come back to his senses thanks to Hecashkigal and Hadad.

" Job! " yelled Hecashkigal.

" Snap out of it boy! " yelled Baalshamin.

Job was now finally able to breathe normally again.

" Yeah… I am here… " said Job as his whole body and all his clothes were covered in cold-sweat.

Job now prepared his flaming sword.

The brave Nephilim called forth all his courage and might, and was now prepared for battle.

But that was when the abominable beast-monster did something that completely shattered Job's confidents.

The thing picked up a corpse and started to peel the skin and flesh of the corpse, like a banana, till the corpse looked like a mace.

" Hadad, should we step in? I don't think that the kids can stand up against Aeshma… " said Hecashkigal worried while sweating cold-sweat.

" Have faith… " said Baalshamin, who himself was losing faith and was about to rain down lightning, but then Job finally reacted.

Job quickly turned around and flashed his sword in front of Molossus and Pergamu.

The two boys finally came out of their fear-paralyzed state.

Molossus and Pergamu moved with such a force that the ground under them cracked.

The two grandsons of Achilles punched the wicked Aeshma so hard that the monster-thing, the nearby houses and trees were shattered into tiny bits of flesh and debris.

All that was left was a barren plain.

" It seems that the fear made us forget to hold back… " said Molossus with a sweaty-smile.

" Boys! " yelled Rostam.

Rostam, the Shah and Phoenix had now arrived with an army.

Phoenix dismounted and ran to Molossus and Pergamu.

Rostam ran over to Job.

" By great Ahura Mazda…. what is this horrific sight… " said the Shah, feeling rage and pity for his people.

The wounded were tended to, and those who were psychologically beyond help, committed suicide in an attempt to escape all the horror they had been through and seen.

Sloth

Job was sitting for himself, trying to process everything, also, he just needed to be alone for a bit.

" You okay sweetie? " said Hecashkigal.

Job was quiet.

" Now, I would say; that stuff like what you experienced happens, but I think that we both can agree, that what you went through was rather a good exception… " said Baalshamin, sounding almost like he was giggling.

Job could not help but let a little giggle out as well.

Job now gentle hit his cheeks, and then said;

" I am ready again "

Job was heading back to the palace.

On the road he was walking, he noticed a man sleeping on the road.

At first, Job thought nothing of what he saw, until he saw it for the sixth time.

" It seems like a lot of people are working hard today, since so many of them are napping… " said Job, while feeling that something was off.

Job finally arrived at the city, where he saw things that confused him.

Job saw the people, asleep.

The men, women and children were all asleep, in their houses, on their chairs and even on the ground itself.

" What the hell is going on? " said Job, as he walked over to some citizens, trying to wake them up.

Job now rushed towards the palace, but as he was walking, his eyes and legs were getting heavier and heavier.

Job bit his lower lip, and pinched himself in an attempt to stay awake.

Job finally reached the castle, where he saw the Shah sitting on his throne, and Khosrow was still awake.

" Great King, what has happened? " asked Job, as he got closer to the throne.

Khosrow was using every ounce of his strength to stay awake, the Shah was able to utter these words;

" It is the long-handed one…. "

His strength now failed him, as the Shah now fell asleep.

" I have to do something…. " said Job, as his strength was reaching its limits.

Job dragged his body to the door.

As he was walking, his vision got blurry, and his whole body heavier and heavier.

Job now collapsed on the floor, where he now fell asleep.

The whole of Persia was now quiet, as the people were all asleep.

Giggling could be heard over Job's body, as a monster now revealed itself from the shadows.

" This was too easy, " said the monster, sounding almost proud of her work.

The monster now looked down at Job.

" I have eaten many humans, but never a Nephilim " said the monster as she was ready to devour Job.

" Not on my watch " said Hadad as he now punched the monster across the floor.

" I must say, you played all this rather well, Bushyasta " said Hadad as his fists were crackling with lightning.

" Lord of heaven and lighting " said the hideous monster as she picked herself up.

" Hecashkigal, you watch over Job, I will handle sloth " said Baalshamin, as he punched Bushyasta straight up towards the thunderclouds that had gathered.

Hadad now called down lightning till the demon of sloth was nothing more than black ash.

Hadad returned back into Job's body as everyone within Persia now slowly reawaken.

On that night.

Everyone, and I mean; EVERYONE.

Did not go to sleep that night.

For all the people wanted to party for a bit, to shake off the horror.

The destroyer

Rostam, the great hero and general.

Noticed that Job was starting to sink into the abyss.

The poor boy was not eating much, and Rostam was pretty sure that Job barely got any sleep, for even the great general and hero was having a hard time eating and sleeping after all that had happened.

So Rostam had an idea.

While Phoenix took out his boys to play.

Rostam would take Job out to do something fun.

Like flying with kites!

Rostam gave Job a kite.

Job was happy, but he was also impressed with the kite that Rostam had brought for himself.

Rostam's kite looked like the Anqa bird itself.

Covered in many beautiful colors.

" Now then, are you ready? " asked Rostam happerily.

" Ready. " said Job with a smug smile.

Both Rostam and Job took their positions, and when the wind came, they ran, as fast as they could.

Till their kites were flying with the birds.

" Rostam, look! Mine is up in the air!! " yelled Job, with such a tone, that Rostam could hear that the little boy was getting out of the dark abyss.

Rostam simply smiled.

The wind was just right.

The ground was perfect.

And the sun was not too hot.

It was truly like a paradise; thought Rostam to himself.

This was a break that they both needed.

" Rostam, be careful! " yelled Job.

Before Rostam could react, he tripped and fell on his ass.

Rostam was now looking at a dog, who was licking his face.

" Who are you? " asked Rostam.

" It is one of Archangel Michael's Mercy Dogs " said Job, as it was now his turn to get licked.

(Somewhere. Orthrus felt a chill of envy down his spine)

" What is one of the Archangel's dogs doing here? " said Rostam, as he was petting the Mercy Dog.

The hairs on the Mercy Dog were now on edge.

The dog signaled that there was danger.

" Where? " said Rostam as he readied his weapon.

The very ground in front of them now cracked open.

A pit, which looked like the Darvaza Gas Crater, could now be seen.

" Malkus… " said Rostam, as he saw the demon-monster crawl out of the gate to hell.

The Mercy Dog was now growling.

" Friend dog, you protect Job. I will handle The Destroyer " said The Mighty Persian with an equally mighty smile.

" Rostam, I can help " said Job, as he readied his flaming sword.

" I won't hear it…. besides. I will quickly kill Malkus, so we can get back to enjoying our kites " said Rostam with a warm smile.

Job understood, and did as he was told.

The Destroyer roared an ugly cry at Rostam.

" I am Rostam, the Persian Hercules. I have killed humans, demons, dragons and monsters. You- said Rostam as he was pointing his sword at Malkus- Shall fall just like the rest "

A mighty and legendary battle followed.

A battle so fierce, that it ruined the garden that they were in, poor Cyrus would be upset.

However.

Rostam was able to kill the destroyer Malkus.

Rostam also thanked the Mercy Dog that had warned that of the danger.

With that done.

Rostam and Job returned back to what they were doing.

Getting out of the abyss.

Part 3

The (deceiver) hypocrite

Job was sitting for himself, thinking.

" Do you mind if I sit? " asked Phoenix.

" Not at all, " said Job.

Phoenix sat down.

" Do you mind telling me what you are thinking? " asked Phoenix.

" Nothing " answered Job, rather fast.

" Good. Sometimes it is nice to think of nothing and just enjoy life " said Phoenix, as the old man was enjoying the lovely weather.

" So. What are you really thinking? " asked Phoenix.

Job was quiet.

" I see. I would say that you are rather too young to be a stoic, I suppose that it is all the trauma… "

Phoenix now got up, gentle placed his hand on Job's head, and then said;

" No matter what you think, know that you are not alone, and that you don't have to place the whole world on your tiny shoulders "

When Phoenix left.

Tears could be seen on Job's face.

" He makes a good point, " said Hecashkigal.

" I know… " said Job as he now got up and went for a walk.

The young Nephilim was walking on a road, but he was not alone, and no, I am not talking about Hecashkigal and Baalshamin.

Orthrus ran up, and joined Job on his walk.

" You don't think that I am putting too much on my shoulders, do you boy? " said Job.

Orthrus just had a concerned expression.

" I see… " said Job with a smile.

Job then noticed another dog on the road.

This dog looked a lot like a Alaunts.

" Hello there, are you lost? " asked Job kindly.

" You're a liar "

Job's whole body froze as he heard those words coming from the Alaunts.

" You can talk… " uttered Job surprised.

" I can, I am Diwzhat, and you are a hypocrite, dear boy "

" Why? " asked Job both surprised and confused.

" You talk of responsibilities and carrying the whole world alone… and yet, you have had help- Diwzhat now started to grow in size- was it not Molossus and Pergamu who defeated Aeshma? Was it not Hadad who defeated Bushyasta?- Diwzhat was now casting a shadow over Job- and was it not Rostam who defeated Malkus? "

Job's expression stated that he agreed.

" Then why. Why are you placing all this suffering on yourself? Why are you placing the whole world on your shoulders? " said Diwzhat in a booming voice.

Orthrus had had enough.

So he grew so big, that he was the one casting a shadow over Diwzhat.

" Oh… " said Diwzhat surprised and impressed.

Diwzhat now shrunk down to the normal size of a dog.

" You still have not yet answered my question… " said Diwzhat.

" Because….. I am Job… "

Diwzhat sighed.

" No. You are not Job. You are a hypocrite. You have amazing friends, who would all gladly risk their lives for you. You have two gods inhabiting your body. The very sword you treasure was giving to you by your own mother- Job looked at his sword- Let me be clear. I am not angry with you. I pity you, for you have things that not even the abyss could take away "

Job fell to his knees, as he was trying to process everything.

" I am not Job? "

" No. You are not THAT Job, and even that Job did not suffer forever. You are allowed to be happy. So allow yourself to be happy "

Orthrus now licked Job.

" I see " said Job with a smile.

" Thanks "

" You are very welcome, " said Diwzhat as he now disappeared.

Orthrus shrunk down in size, and Job was now petting both his heads.

" Come on, boy, let us head home "

At paradise.

Jophiel had seen everything.

" Our son is growing up, right, Narci.. " said God's Aphrodite, while holding a Daffodil.
