The angel went out, searching houses one by one,
Trying to find food for the few people left,
He felt something chilly though,
And immediately turned around,
But the time he did,
A set of evil burning eyes was what he found.
It was disguised as an angel,
A beautiful face, and a welcoming smile,
Although despite it, one could tell,
That this man, though pretty, is very vile.
The real angel, disguised as a boy, frowned and prepared a fighting stance,
The demon sighed, and knowing he knew,
To what use is his disguise?
He showed his form, and the fake face melted in a slow fashion,
Two set of horns appeared, as his orange eyes replaced the friendly blue.
They stood there, waiting, without a single motion,
Until the demon spoke, "Come at me,"
The boy laughed, and continued to stand,
Stance in place, still in caution.
"Where are they? I knew you gave them some sort of protection,
A field somehow, we cannot smell them at all,"
The demon complained, holding the part where his stomach should have been,
"Tell me little boy, don't be so mean,"
The angel, crumpled his fists, then appeared a yellow glow,
"Eleazar, can't you see? In food, we're running low,"
The demon continued to taunt him, to tease him,
He knew angels are slowly getting defeated,
So why fear this already weakened angel?
Whom he's sure could be won,
Minced, and meated.
What does an angel taste like?
Was the question that registered in his mind,
But maybe he'll soon find out,
If he successfully, plays this route.
The angel did not falter,
And bravely held on, the glow getting stronger,
If demons can cheat, then who says angels can't?
His form is no disadvantage, no way to the enemy he would grant.
He changed his form, now appearing taller,
His smile so fear-inducing, the demon felt shorter,
He backed a bit, his mind now buzzing how to survive,
Eleazar's eyes became darker, as the demon's grew wide.
Ken swore he felt something explode,
And so as the others, waiting for food,
It was brief, but they were sure,
Something lustrous passed,
That even the moths in the room were lured.
It was surprising, and confusing, they all stood up,
And as quickly as they did, something before them appeared,
The little boy, shirt now torn, with scratches all over,
His hands filled with goods,
While panting, staggering, exhausted was the rover.
Ken quickly caught the angel,
That used everything he could,
To defeat the backups, the demon called for use.
Eleazar's vision was fading,
As he catches his breath,
He reminds himself of the mission,
That God to him, had sent.
Panic surged over them, as they noticed the angel sleep,
After all, without him, other threats how would they defeat?
