After drinking the remains of his ice tea and snapping it away, Valefar remained on the armchair, leaning back into its soft smooth material. He went over to the Hellfire telephone and placed it on his lap.
The Hellfire shadows around him went over to the clouds were the chains were holding the stone stage. Releasing them, Valefar felt a short fall, but he remained in the air. Good thing this armchair was demon certified.
A normal human sitting on the thing would drop, as the armchair would recognize who's sitting on it.
The shadows took out the chains from the clouds on each side, before they gathered to hold the stone stage together. Valefar looked behind him to see the giant black tear in the sky opening up, expanding itself for the Hellfire shadows floating with the stage from before, then bringing themselves and it into the tear.
The tear closed up, and Valefar was left sitting amongst the clouds.
