Theseus was humming to himself, strolling casually down a corridor. He found Leta at the Great Hall, smiling and giggling uncontrollably.
"What's got you giggling Leta?" Theseus smiled kindly.
"Hi, Theseus! I'm just..." Theseus' question stopped her train of thought. "I'm sorry. I'm figuring out what to do about Trelawney. The way her head just plonked was just... remarkably hilarious. " She stifled her giggling and quickly turned to Theseus as if a response was needed.
"I see," he responded. "You said you were going to do something about her. What does that mean?"
"Yup. I know. I overheard a massive meeting about Trelawney and I feel the need to take action. My best friend helped me out." she smirked.
"Who's that?" he asked.
"Aha. I forgot to tell you... It's called the Cloak of Invisibility." she whispered to him.
"That's incredible! But how did you become the owner of such a precious object?" He spoke almost as if he were a journalist, longing for the information.
"Um..." she hesitated, "Someone called the Headmaster of the School."
"Of course! Dumbledore!" he exclaimed excitedly.
"He must've trusted me. He sent it overnight." The cloak came with a dusty piece of parchment which read,
'Hi Leta, I know you are wondering what this is. It's an invisibility cloak. Why am I giving it to you? Secret. All I say is use it well.'
Theseus was intrigued, whereas his brother, Newt, would've sighed with exasperation.
"Did you learn anything new?"
"Well... Trelawney's unwell, obviously, and has been hospitalised."
Theseus interrupted, "Is she alright?"
"Quiet! I haven't finished," she remarked.
"Anyway..." she continued. "Interrogations about the incident are going to be arranged and the teachers suspect that she caught it on her own. But, Filch, as always, suspects "It was a student out of bed!" she imitated. "So, we need to be cautious. And as you were saying, she's tired and hallucinating. Understandable for her. Other than that, she seems alright."
"Thanks," he replied.
"Invisibility cloak though? Interesting..." he muttered.
"Don't worry. I'll use it for good. To solve the mischief! Like superheroes!" she said childishly.
"Great imagination!" he remarked. " I don't think that's possible..."
The thought of his best friend receiving a luxury item from the Headmaster himself drove him jealous.
He paced the corridor, rushed planning and thought evident on his face. "I suppose we'll use it for good, but how?" he thought to himself.
"Are you jel?" she teased. "I can see it in your face," she said kindly.
"Nope," he commented, a hint of jealousy recurring in his voice, still pacing the corridor.
"Well. We know the situation. Be cautious. Let's take this gift to our advantage. Whether you are jealous... or not."
"Alright," he said.
"Channel the good vibes." he thought, "Leta." He smiled and thought dreamily, using her to overcome his brief moments of jealousy.
