"Hey mom's calling let me pick this up real quick." Jordan goes outside and answers the phone. Ïs it ready?"
"Everything is a go. All we need is the girl."
"Mom are you trying to make it sound like your a criminal?"
"Isn't it more fun this way?"
"You sound like your going to have me kidnap my sister just to bring her home."
"Isn't that what's happening?"
"I'm not kidnapping her mom, I'm simply bringing her home. Now I should go before she become suspicious." Jordan quickly hangs up the phone and while Lydia was still eating he interrupted her mid bite. "Something happened back home we have to go back."
Ïs everyone okay?" Lydia ask concerned.
"Seems like it but mom wanted us home as soon as possible. Waiter can you pack this food up to go please?"
"She wants us home asap but your getting the food to go?"
"One I already paid for it and two unlike you I didn't get to eat anything. So yeah I'm getting it to go."
"Love your priorities Jordan."
"I'm going to call Brady and explain to him what happened. I'll have him meet us at the house."
"Sounds like a good idea."
Jordan immediately called Brady and started speaking in their coded language. "vr lpjhwwlqj wdnh rxw eh edfn vrrq dv srvvleoh."
As Jordan speaks a head at a table by where they were sitting turns his head with a saddened expression. Brady laughs but not loud enough for Lydia to hear before hanging up. "Okay Brady now knows."
"Why did you speak to Brady in code? You were talking about something I already know."
"If I don't practice I will forget it. There's already been one person who forgot it already. I'd rather him forget it and me dealing with it than the other way around. It hurts when a friend forgets you."
"Speaking of 'him' have you run into him by accident lately I heard he still goes to your school."
"We see each other sometimes but we don't interact with each other I mean he doesn't even look at me so I can't even wave at him."
"You're lying and we both know it. I know who's group he follows now. He follow Tommy to Eli and knowing that group the only one allowed out would be Tommy unless Colby can become ruthless enough to fight Eli and somehow actually win."
"We don't need to talk about this today and not here of all places.." The waiter came back with the food all packages. "Thank you."
"Enjoy your day." Said the waiter as he handed over the bags of food.
"You too. Now come on we have to get home." As the headed out the door the guy at the next table looked at them one more time and paid for his own food before following them.
Lydia and Jordan quickly found their way home without realizing they were being followed and they went inside and straight to the back yard. As their follower found himself at the hill in the back watching what happens.
As they went through the back door everyone popped up at the same time. "Surprise!"They all shouted at once. Followed after that were happy birthday wishes that weren't all that harmonious.
"Wait what...!? "Lydia said dumb founded.
"Did you that that I was the only one getting a present today?" Jordan asked her seriously.
"Wait you knew about this?"
"Why did you think I spoke to Jordan in code at the restaurant? Now give me a sec I need to use the bathroom." Jordan goes to the bathroom to change back into his Phantom outfit. As he's on his way out, he texts Natasha.
When he's by the back door again he can hear Natasha from outside. "My dearest audience members please welcome our greatest dancer: THE PHATOM DANCER!" As she yells his new stage name he comes through the back door and Brady cues the music. Without missing a single beat Jordan began dancing to the song.
The mysterious guy watches from a distance and begins to tear up. He texts someone Ïs that Jordan dancing?" He asked in the text.
"Where are you? Why are you here?"
"Just answer me Brady. Is that Jordan on stage?"
"Yes it is. Are you happy now?"
"Colby."
