"Of course it wouldn't be inconveniencing me. In fact if I don't let you stay wouldn't it be me inconveniencing you instead? And how could I bear to do that?"
"Are you sure? I don't want to bother you if that's really not okay for you."
"Ashleigh, how long have we known each other."
"Since high school, that's..." Natasha cuts her off.
"Exactly since high school! That's a long time, how would I not be okay with you staying with me?"
"Fine, since you and your mother both insist that I stay the night I guess I really can't refuse."
"Great! That's it then. You are staying here for the night." Ashleigh just nodded.
Everyone enjoyed their food and Jordan disappeared into the house away from the crowd. He was eager to know who sent his card but he didn't realize Brady was curious enough to follow him so he read the card aloud.
"Jordan, I owe you my apologies. We both know I'm the reason Colby got mixed up with Eli. If you're wondering how this letter got to you, for this I must thank my sisters Emma and Brenna. I didn't want them to tell you or Lydia because I didn't want it to influence their relationship.
But the reason I'm giving you this card is because I have a plan to get Colby out but I'm going to need your help if it's going to succeed. He feels guilty toward you the most, he never forgot you even for a day.
If you are going to help go to the cafe tomorrow and await further instructions. Emma and Brenna already have the next card. They will give it to you before GhostTown gets there once he arrives you will see why.
- Tommy"
"I will help him but only for Colby. After that he's not someone I want in my life. Without knowing him he's already ruined my life."
"He didn't mean it plus that was Colby's choice not Tommy who forced him."
"I know but it's still his fault."
"If I got stuck with Eli would you save me?"
"Of course I would I..." Jordan stopped once he knew that his decision would be the same one Colby made. "Fine, I'll forgive Tommy for this incident but doesn't mean him and I would ever be friends."
"You don't need to be friends. You just need to save Colby. Promise... that you can save him without getting hurt."
"I can't promise you that, I don't know how Tommy plans to save him but I will promise to do my best not to get hurt in the process."
"Close enough. Now let's go get something to eat before they notice we're missing."
"Oh yeah! Why did you follow me?"
"I kind of figured you went to read the letter and I was extremely interested to know who would buy you a card after all it's your sister's day but you got attention too."
"Fair enough I guess." Jordan reply as they head back out to grab their own plate of food.
"So tomorrow?" Brady asked.
"Tomorrow." His best friend confirmed.
