Chapter 12 - KNOW ME A BIT.

"For me, to write in your diary as you were talking with someone else isn't strange. I think it feels good because it is like you can express all your hidden feelings." That was the thought of Cassiopeia each time when she was writing in her diary; she doesn't usually write in her journal, only when she has free time or when she has a strong feeling. She likes to use significant nicknames when she writes about some relevant members of her family. She also has been writing some phrases and thoughts on a lecture page.

"I don't take importance about the views and likes; I only want to express my feelings and thoughts. If I get some views and likes, it would be good but, if it doesn't happen, that's fine." Cassiopeia isn't too confident in her abilities; for example, she thinks some people write better, and their ways of writing are more attractive and catching than hers.

Sometimes she thinks that she is a student of everything but a teacher of nothing. When she was younger, she wanted to be a singer or a writer, but for her, it was easy to see that there were better people for those professions so, to write in a few phrases and to sing for their beloved ones was enough.

Time for an anecdote: Sing, abilities, better.

When Cassiopeia was in her senior year of high school, there was a signing contest in her high school. The teachers of each classroom had to choose one person to represent the classroom, and other students can help her doing a choreography. The next week, each student sang in front of their classmates and the teacher to choose the best singer.

Cassiopeia was a bit nervous because doing something in front of many wasn't her favorite activity, but she wanted the opportunity to sing because she loves to sing. She sang with all of her strength, but the teacher didn't choose her. There was a better singer than her. Cassiopeia felt sad, jealous, and a bit upset because the chosen one didn't care about the contest; she only chose her song that day because she said she didn't have enough time to worry about an unnecessary competition.

"To write in another language is a bit difficult; there are many words for the same thing, and I can't use some expressions because they seem meaningless." Cassiopeia thought that a bit angry. Cassiopeia was studying Spanish for two years, so to practice, she started to write in Spanish in her diary, she practices, and nobody knows what she writes; for her, it was a great benefit. She wants to learn more languages but first, she wants to improve her Spanish.

-This weather is too annoying, it is too hot. I want ice cream or a cold drink.- Cassiopeia says while she was searching in her cellphone a new story or book to read. Because he read a lot, he could read faster than before, so he ran out of reading material quickly. "I don't want to run out of reading material quickly; the stories and the books are interesting, so I want to read more, and when I realize I have finished the book."

Cassiopeia loves any genre of books. However, when some genre takes her attention the most, she usually tries to read every book of that genre until another genre takes her attention; she read love, drama, comedy, police, adventure, and more books. She is very emotional when she reads a book; you can see Cassiopeia shouting, smiling, crying, laughing, and more but, she usually is quiet and calm with other things.

Time for an anecdote: Cassiopeia, phone, a book, smiles, texting, a boy.

One day, Cassiopeia was reading a virtual book on her phone in the living room. Her family was talking near to her, so they were seeing her, smiling and laughing. Her uncle said: "Maybe she is texting with a boy.", some of her relatives agreed with him because it was natural in an adolescent.

They were wrong because Cassiopeia was smiling and laughing at the funny dialogues of the book characters. A few minutes later, her relatives were still thinking that she was texting with a boy, but her uncle can't stand his curiosity, so he asked her: "Who are you texting to?" Cassiopeia looked at him and said: "I'm not texting, I'm reading a virtual book, it is interesting.", she also showed him her cellphone, which was full of words and any text. Cassiopeia felt a bit funny for the expression of surprise and disconcert of her uncle. After that day, her family doesn't ask her why she is smiling or laughing while she has her phone.

"When you sing or dance, it is not only relevant that you do it well, it also matters the feelings you express through them." Cassiopeia had that belief every time she danced and sang. When she dances, she smiles to express her happiness because she usually dances to happy songs or Latin songs. On the other hand, when she sings, she uses her voice and facial expressions to express the feelings or the meaning of the song. Singing well is good but, to express your feelings or the real singer's feelings is excellent.

-I usually don't care about the bad commentaries that people do about me because I know that they are lies; also, those people try to make me feel sad, but they are irrelevant in my life, so I don't care what they think or say about me. Besides, they don't have enough courage to tell me those thoughts or commentaries. For that reason, those commentaries are more irrelevant than at first.- said Cassiopeia one day when her friends told her that some of her classmates were saying bad things about Cassiopeia. Cassiopeia also said-If I cared about each bad commentary that some people said about me, I wouldn't be half of what I am now- That was true. However, no matter how many comments Cassiopeia heard, she was not an easy person to influence.
