Sorry I haven't updated in a while. I recently took a spill that left me injured, because of my back problems my spill hurt more than it was supposed to and it took me a while to recover, even now I am still recovering, as I am writing through the pain. Nevertheless here's your chapter.

Sitting up Amber looked around her room. She saw that the three men inside were fast asleep. Smiling softly ,she turned when she saw that her doctor had come in, glancing at them he shook his head and smiled. Speaking to Amber he said that she was able to go home today, Thanking him Amber smiled and got out of bed and went into the washroom.
Coming out she realised that they had shifted positions, straightening her clothes she put a note on the dresser, and left.
Walking up, Channing sat up groggily rubbing the sleep from his eyes. Turning to his left he saw the nurse turning down the bed that Amber formerly occupied. Seeing him she said " Ms. Adair left a note for the three of you on the dresser". " Three?" he thought. Looking back he saw that both his friends were awake. Thanking the nurse he grabbed the note and read it to his friends. It said " Sir, thank you for looking after me during this time. I am very grateful, even though you broke my sternum and cracked one of my ribs ,you refused to let me die and for that I thank you. I will see you at work first thing Monday,
P.S I am suing you and Joe. No hard feelings right?''
Looking at his two dumbfounded friends, he pursed his lips and then snapped his fingers, that seemed to break them out of their reverie. Seeing the note in his hands Liam snatched, the paper and read it again. Not finding what he was looking for he crumpled up the paper and stormed out of the room angrily. Sighing his friends followed him. Closing in the door, Brad stopped and raised his eyes heaven ward, now he was not a religious person but at that moment he silently thanked God that Amber did not die. He was getting fond of her and not in a Intimate manner, more like a little sister manner. Saying a quick thanks to the Deity above again, he closed the door and left.
[Two Years Later]
Amber was busy running around the office with her hands full of documents. Since, her boss and his friends had decided to merge their main companies into one group, her workload was becoming much heavier, and to her happiness and dismay all three friends wanted her as their personal assistant.
She was now the assistant of Liam, Brad and Channing making her the highest paid assistant in the world. Her salary was enormous and she also got bonuses from the company because of how hard she worked for them.
Running down a hall, Amber skidded to a sudden stop as she almost bumped into another co-worker of her's, Adam. Breathing a shaky breath Amber, shuffled the papers on one hand again and proceeded to the conference unknown to the fact that when she suddenly stopped, one of the reports containing vital information was blown away.
Stepping quietly into the conference room, she handed Liam the documents ,settings them down with a thud ''Let's move on to page four in your packages gentleman'' he said.
Walking behind her boss, Amber sat at the table assigned for assistants and began to take notes, twenty mins later, in walked Cole Griffin. The man whose name was on every magazine and paper for the last two months. Because of the incident with Liam and Joe, Mrs. Dragos had decided to give Cole the project instead of Liam which created a bigger rift between the two men. Seeing Cole, Amber was sure something was wrong.
Standing in the middle of the room Cole smirked '' Gentleman.'' he said. '' I'm sure my'' good friend'' Liam told you about the benefits of investing in this project, but their is one thing I know he did not tell you about.''
''What are you talking about'' said snarkily while still being polite, after all he was in a room with a bunk of investors. As Cole went on to describe said ''problem'' Amber remembered that she had almost run into a co-worker, while on her way in ,skimming through the files she noted that the paper containing the information about the dig site, had gone missing, and Cole was about to tell the investors that they were to be digging on native Palure soil. The Palure's were an ancient tribe who were finders of some of the first gold and diamond mines in America, and their land was extremely valuable as well as governmentally protected. Now she knew this, Mr. Carson and Cohen knew this and as she could see unfortunately her boss did not. However she had come to a settlement agreement with a few of native Palure descendants and had bough the land for a fair price, including throwing in some kickbacks to protect their local and cultural heritage. Seeing that her boss and his friends did not have this information, she quickly and quietly rushed out of the room, running down to record she quickly found the records and snapped a photo of the land deed as well as a verbal conformation by local Palure's that the land was now rightfully theirs and sent it off to Liam. Letting out a breath she did not know she was holding, she slumped down against the tile and pried that it reached him in time.
Back in the room Liam was frantically looking for Amber, after seeing her sneak out, he was worried, turning his attention back to Cole ,he loathed to see that man starting to tarnish his reputation, knowing what was coming he frantically thought of something to say when the news came out. Feeling a buzzing in his pocket Liam discreetly took out his cell phone and say a text from his assistant '' This is proof and confirmation that the land is legally yours'' it read. Clicking on the attachment he saw the land deed and verbal confirmation. Smirking he sat back down and waited knowing that Cole was about to make a fool out of himself, after all Cole called him ''a good friend'' and doesn't '' a good friend'' let you learn from your mistakes?
