Going back into the hospital, Channing saw a nurse standing over Amber,with an empty syringe. Turning to him she said " Ms. Adair started to complain of pain,so the doctor ordered to administer a light sedative." Shaking his head in understanding he said " Oh..Oh ,ok." moving towards the side he let her exit.
Sitting down at her bedside Channing looked at her face,her red hair seemed duller and her once rosy palour had turned into a pale disposition. Sighing, he ran his hand down his face,and settled into the uncomfortable chair and fell asleep.
Waking up the next morning, Amber felt like she had drunk the entirety of the Sahara Desert. Her throat was on fire! Never had she felt so thirsty so she looked around and found that a cup of water had been placed on her bedside table,seeing Channing fast asleep on her bed, she went to call him but she was parched. Grabbing the nearest thing that she could reach which happened to be a box of tissues, she flung them weakly at him. Missing him by an inch, she reached for it and flung it at him again,but this time with success!
Groaning, Channing awoke to a soft thud on his head, looking up he saw that Amber was awake and was trying to reach for something. "Amber" he called. " What is it that you are reaching for?" Holding her burning throat she croaked out " Wa.. wat… water!" and with that she ended in a fit of coughs. Nodding frantically,he quickly got the cup and guided the straw to her lips and helped her drink. Quenching her thirst, Amber laid back on the bed, wiping her mouth with the back of her free hand,she looked up at him. Scoffing she said," When can I go back home? I have a lot of cleaning up to do I suppose." Turning towards him she said " What did i ever do to you? Why did you have me investigated like some common criminal huh?! I have tried so hard…" she started shakily " So hard to overcome this, running from him,them .. and with one phonecall you have completely uprooted my ENTIRE LIFE! I ran so hard and so far, I did the unthinkable to survive and now I am finally free,and you brought him back into my LIFE!" Wiping her tears Amber venomously said " I bet you are wondering what, I am talking about right? Sit down, I'll tell you my story."
Sitting down Channing was about to say something,but was stopped by Amber's icy glare " When I was two years old, my mother was murdered in front of me by my uncle….."
MEANWHILE
Liam and Brad walked into the hospital ,and looked at each other, going up the elevator to her suite, they both went to enter but stopped when they heard Amber begin to narrate her story.
