--1 week later
"So this is the capital..." Angela said in awe as she stepped out of the run-down carriage. A week had passed since I cleared the rats inside the forest. For the remainder of the day and the next few days, I was on guard waiting for someone to attack the village. To my surprise, according to my knowledge, no one else appeared in the village. After finally confirming that nobody else had secretly infiltrated the village, I went back into the dungeon for the next 2 days. I acquired a ton of low-level abilities that I chose not to learn. I acquired quite a bit of item too, and as for my level. It was considered good that I managed to level up 4 times in 2 days with a dungeon that yields about 20 to 25,000 XP per dive.
As for my stats, well, I don't think a level 62 should have even a 50th of these stats even if they had some type of unique blessing.
Mind of the Ocean(Passive), Beast Transformation Lvl 7, Nature's Gift(Passive), Mana Forming Lvl 20 [See More], Fireball Lvl 13 Flame Pillar Lvl 11, Magic Tool Creation Lvl 1, Hyper Flash Lvl 6, Ring of Darkness Lvl 1, Dark Magic [See More] Artisan's Glove [Stat Points: 40] Because there were no more people sneaking into the village, The most I got after killing a single Fire Bear was 150~200 to any of my stats. As for the boss, I got 220~300 for his attack stat, and 190~210 for his defense, as for health, I got 1,500~1,700. Angela also started going with me to dive into the dungeon and grew stronger with each dive. I'm pretty sure her attack stat is over 1,000 now, whatever blessing she received was apparently a good one. Currently, right now, we've just arrived in the capital. Because there are more dungeons in the capital with way higher ranks than the one in the village, it was a smart decision. Also, because people have formed Guilds within the capital, and around the rest of the world probably. Angela insisted on coming to the capital to try her luck at joining a Guild. Thanks to whatever kind of a blessing she had, she had a pretty high chance of finding a Guild to join. She was also making the right decision for coming to the capital. If someone were to join a guild, they would be provided resources to help them smoothly get through the first 150 levels as a starter. At this point, you're no longer a beginner, but still very weak. When you're in a guild and reach level 150, then you can start participating in higher ranked dungeons. You can also sell items you retrieve from the dungeon to both the guild and the 'DRA'. As showed our licenses and made our way into the capital, it was like a world full of colors. The entire city was vibrant, you could look anywhere and find a variety of sub-humans and humans mixed together wearing powerful-looking armor and all kinds of weapons. It was like our previous world was black and white, we were truly only ants compared to all the powerful people in the city, well, probably not me. If anything, my strength is equal to that of a peak B+ dungeon raider's. All around us we're buildings in all shapes and sizes while all kinds of unique aromas attacked our noses. I couldn't identify any of the smells around me no matter how hard I tried to remember. After a few seconds of looking at the city, I saw a bunch of people start to crowd around in a circle, it seemed someone was causing a commotion nearby. "I'm going to go to the 'Guild Recruitment' Building!" Angela said to me with sparkling eyes before running off to the left while holding a large piece of paper that seemed to be a map. I soon realized that she took from me while I was staring at the crowd ahead of me. But instead of going to get it back, I decided to merge into the gathered crowd and see what the commotion was all about. As I got closer, I could see a woman laying on the ground with shackles on her wrists, while wearing a long, tattered, light brown shirt that covered both her chest and half her legs. She looked as if she was almost 30. She also had long fox ears and a fluffy, but dirty tail. After looking closer I could see a bruise on her right cheek. Standing next to her with his foot on her tail, a man wearing a light purple robe and a black hat that looked like it belonged to a witch. He also held a staff made of dark brown wood that pulsed every now and then as if it were alive. He had an awful bowl cut and nothing else out of the ordinary. The man then spoke while staring down at the woman. "How dare you touch the back of my shoes with your dirty feet! Since I'm being merciful, I'll let you off with 5 hits today, be grateful!" The man said as he grabbed the staff in his hand and swung it violently at the woman, hitting her on the same spot before. The woman then violently coughed as bits of blood and a broken tooth came out of her mouth. And instead of retaliating, she instead sat there with a look of sadness as she prepared herself for the next hit. "How dare a mere slave step on the back of the -C ranked genius mage Cornell?!" A man shouted at the woman lying on the floor. "Yeah, serves you right!" "You deserve death!" "You better be lucky I'm not your owner, you should thank Cornell for his generosity and mercy!" Tons of voices raged violently as Cornell was about to swing his staff at the woman again. The woman then squinted her eyes as she prepared herself for the next hit, but soon, all she heard were the voices quiet down and a loud crash a few meters away from her. When she opened her eyes, all she saw was a boy not looking to be even 15 posing as if he had just kicked someone, then she looked over the left and saw Cornel painted against a wall. "Y-You! How dare you assault me! What guild are you apart of?!" Cornell said as he grunted in pain while trying to stand up. After receiving the blow to his left set of ribs, he noticed how powerful it was. When he looked up, he saw a kid not looking to be 15 yet, which stunned him. But even then, after what he did, it wouldn't be strange if the little kid went missing soon after, he was going to challenge the kid to a duel and 'accidentally' kill him in the arena. "I don't belong to any guild," Axel responded in a calm manner while twisting his leg, he hadn't used his legs to fight before, so the feeling that came after hitting the man was weird. "HAHAHAHA, no guild? Fine then, I challenge you to a duel, in 3 days time, I dare you to decline! The winner takes all the loser's items!" Cornell said as he laughed hysterically. "Fine then, if I win, you give me the 'slave' woman over there," Axel said as he pointed towards the woman lying on the floor. He was completely confident in winning the duel after checking the man's stats. 'Having a slave to accompany me into dungeons and support me could be cool.' I thought to myself.
