Chapter 34 - Guild Leader Trisha

As I walked out of the dungeon, the only noise present was the sound of fire and crackling. I don't know why my mood was sour because of something petty like someone dying net to someone else, maybe I'm being influenced by the system or something?

Anyways, as I made my way to the exit of the dungeon and exited, I was greeted with 5 individuals wearing the same clothes as the previous 3 assassins in the dungeon.

"Hall of Flames."

I didn't spare them a second glance nor did I feel like reasoning with them. I immediately cast [Hall of Flames], instantly killing all except one of them. It appeared to be a woman, as she rolled on the ground, she looked at me with a terrified expression on her face.

"Your fault for trying to kill me, now become my stats, Flame Vortex!" I said to the woman before casting [Flame Vortex]. Since no one lived in this horrible environment, I didn't have to worry about anybody spying on me, which I'm grateful for. Although, I wouldn't mind killing somebody else just because...

As I walked away from the scene, 5 notifications appeared in front of me but I chose to ignore them for now as I already knew what they were. While walking silently, I suddenly had an incredible idea.

"I wonder what would happen if the capital's famous -C Rank Dungeon Raider was to go unexpectedly missing?" I said in my heart while a devilish grin had formed on my face without knowing.

After walking for a while, I had found myself back near the entrance to the city. Instead of going to the inn I was at previously, I went to find Angela.

"If I'm correct, she should be looking to be recruited by a guild, but why so soon?" I questioned myself while quickly merging into the crowd ahead of me.

After a few minutes, I came across a building. The building had two arms shaking each other's hand(you know what I'm saying). This should probably be the building, right?

As I stepped into the building, immediately a few people glanced at me and scoffed. Even though it was considerably rowdy inside, I could still hear a few people talking trash about me in a low voice.

"Harry, how dare you lie to me! There's no way that scrawny kid could have accepted the duel with Cornell!"

"Hahaha, Cornell is gonna mop the floor with that little guy, sucks for him, although he was the one who accepted the duel."

'What do you mean scrawny, have you seen that "Cornell" you're talking about? It made me generally concerned if he had enough money for food when I looked at him!' I shouted in my heart while staring around trying to see if I can spot Angela anywhere.

After a couple of seconds, I saw Angela sitting on a wooden stool talking to another woman, she had what seemed to be iron breastplates and knee plates on. While looking in Angela's direction, it seemed as if she felt someone staring at her so she quickly turned her head to find who was staring at her.

Almost immediately, our eyes met and the woman she was talking to had stared in my direction soon after Angela.

After a few seconds, the woman looked at me and scoffed.

"Who is this guy?"

"Oh, my friend..."

"Your friend?"

"Yeah."

After what seemed to be a brief conversation, Angela got up from her stool and headed in my direction. Angela wasn't the type to cling to people and we interacted less than you would think, well, outside of raiding the dungeon at the village so we could just barely be considered friends.

"I got into a guild!" Angela said as she appeared in front of me. I didn't even notice because I was deep in thought so it slightly startled me.

"Okay?" I responded. I didn't really know how to respond to her because I hardly cared for guilds. After all, everything I need and will need is probably provided by the system.

"Okay? You should be happy for your friend! Angela, you said this was your friend?" The woman Angela was previously talking to blurted out. Just by this response, I could tell how annoying this woman was.

"I could've sworn I was talking to someone else...? Perhaps I was mistaken?" I instantly responded to the woman's reply. I could already feel a headache forming in my head so I could care less about being friendly right now.

As I said that, the woman's face was immediately filled with anger as she glared at me. And I'm pretty sure if she had some kind of powers for her eyes, I'd probably be dead already.

After I responded, Angela had a complicated look on her face. It was like she wanted to join in but also didn't want to cause any more trouble than now.

"Do you know who I am?" The woman shouted in anger, which got the attention of everybody inside of the building.

"Nope," I responded in an emotionless tone.

The woman's face turned completely red, she even outdid a tomato with the color of her face.

"I'm the guild leader of the Crescent Wolves guild, Trisha! And you dare to humiliate me?" Trisha shouted at me. I was so irritated right now, and there's only so long you can hold on before killing somebody, at least, that's how I felt right now.

I was incredibly convinced to just cast [Hall of Flames] or [Flame Vortex] but I'd probably not be able to leave the building after that. After all, I could feel a handful of powerful presences inside of the building, Although, this annoying woman wasn't one of them.

"Like I said lady, I don't know anything about your guild." I responded, and after thinking for a bit, the name of the guild sounded so...'isekai-y'. Instead of staying inside of the building any longer, I quickly left. I decided to vent my anger on any of the sorry assassins that were probably gonna come after me when I went to another dungeon, plus, free stats!

As I left, the same annoying voice had said another word, so I could hold it in anymore.

"Why are you running? You know a coward is trash and won't amount to anyth-" Just as Trisha was about to finish her sentence, a loud *SMACK* echoed through the building.

I couldn't take her talking anymore, so I planted a loud, crisp, and satisfying slap on her face which left her in a daze.

"Who did you inherit your mouth from? The last time I checked, that kind of mouth doesn't belong to a woman, it belongs to a b**ch, what a lineage you have." I said as I walked out of the building feeling slightly satisfied.

As I walked away, Angela stood there with her mouth agape as if she had just seen a ghost, well, it was more than just her, a few people wore that expression on their faces as I walked out of the building.

Nobody said a word for a while before a few people burst into laughter while others were apparently angry.

"Ugh, I'll fu**ing kill you!" Trisha said while holding the left side of her face.

I didn't look back as I walked away in search of another F Rank dungeon, and to also lure out the assassins that are probably following me.
