Chapter 21 - Angela's Skills

--3 hours later

I hadn't noticed earlier, but it got incredibly hard to level up after I 'power leveled'. I'm guessing I need around 50,000 to 60,000 XP to level up once now, unlike Angela. She leveled up so much that she threw up and had mild headaches a few times. I wonder what level she's at right now, but that doesn't matter right now. Because we finally made it to the [BOSS] monster!

The other monsters were only cannon fodder rank, but they still gave around 2,000 XP which was surprising. Even though they gave 2,000, it was only able to get me to level 58, and just barely at that. Knowing that, I won't expect much from the [BOSS] monster behind these colossal doors.

When I killed my first monster, a mysterious blue window popped up in front of me.

So this is the thing that pops up when you kill your first monster! Okay, I think if you want to check your power, you say, "Status?"

Blessing of War(Passive), Foresight Lvl 1, Weight Manipulation Lvl 1, 'Two Sides Of A Coin'(Passive)

---

[Stat Points: 4]

Woah! So these are my "stats"! While reading the words on the screen, I quickly noticed that everything under the "abilities" tab was unusual. I've never heard of anything on here expect for 'Foresight', and anybody who has Foresight is a force to be reckoned with! As for the other abilities, I was more confused than excited, but either way, it looked to me like I had a unique magic!

"Blessing of War" I said in a low voice, apparently, this is how you see information on an ability. A window containing lines of information soon appeared.

Blessing of War: The Blessing of War is giving only to the chosen that are far and few in between. The holder of this blessing's attack stat rises by an extra 10 for every level up. This can not be leveled up/powered up in any way.

I almost shouted from excitement after reading the information on this "Passive" skill that I had. Even though this won't help as much when I'm over level 100, it will still be a major boost and advantage for me! I'll could probably hold my own against a level 15 right now if I tried my best! 'I still have 2 other unusual abilities to check out, so let's hurry up!' I said to myself before I checked the information of the "Weigh Manipulation" skill.

Weight Manipulation: A unique magic that allows it's user to control the weight of their body or specific body parts. It can allow the user to make their hand weigh over 100 pounds, but the downside is that the user also has to have high strength in order to move the body part with increased weight. This skill surprisingly doesn't cost much mana to use. Mana Per Use: 5/50 lbs

'This skill is perfect for me! I don't have to worry about the disadvantage of strength at all because of the Passive skill I have!' I was basically shaking after reading the information on the window, and to think I'm the only one with such a skill! Axel turned his head to look at me,

"You gotta pee or something?" Normally I would get mad if he asked a question like that, but I couldn't blame him, I could feel myself shaking! Okay, time to look at the other passive skill I have.

"Two Sides Of A Coin"

Two Sides Of A Coin: This skill affects the holders mind when engaged in a battle. When the user is engaged in a battle with an enemy of a higher level, this skill affects the holders mind, basically changing their personality. It also increases the holders attack to 3/5 of the enemy's attack and after the enemy is slain, the XP gained from the enemy is increased based on the amount of hits it took for the enemy to die. Previous holders of this skill were lone hunters because of the abnormal personality switch.

"You gotta be kidding me..." I didn't even care that I said that out loud, what kind of cheat is this?! It increases my attack to 3/5 of the enemy? That's so unfair, and it even increases the gained XP proportional to the amount of hits to took to kill the enemy?! The [BOSS] monster doesn't stand a chance then! There are literally no downsides to this skill, and once it again, it totally compliments my other skills and stats! Who cares about the personality switch? Let's hurry up and finish this dungeon!

And the fact that I have the 'Foresight' skill makes everything 10x better, I can see a few seconds ahead and dodge or counter an opponents move before they even do it!

I was staring intently at Angela, I really wanted to know what abilities she had!

[You have been sent a Party Invite by "Angela".]

'What is this, a game?' I thought to myself before accepting the invite. I then looked back at Angela, I was about to ask Angela if she would let me have a peek at her abilities, but before I opened my mouth,

"No you cannot, now let's hurry and finish this [BOSS] monster off, he doesn't stand a chance!" Angela said while swinging her fists. I don't know why but it I felt nervous after she said that, and also confused on how she even knew what I was about to say.

After we opened the giant dark blue colossal doors in front of us, we were greeted with an even gross smell of mold. But what shocked us both was the [BOSS] monster, it was a peak cannon fodder rank Fire Bear.

"Inspect" I said while staring at the bear.

"Blazing Bear?" I said while staring at the stats of the bear, and it looks like the stats of the [BOSS] monsters are displayed differently from people. While I was looking over the stats, I heard Angela on the side of me,

"Let's get this party started!" she said while swinging her fists in the air again. Last time I checked, she used a sword, and also, she seems like a completely different person again. I sighed, and stayed in the back throwing occasional mana bullets at the bear taking a good bit of its health away while Angela was mercilessly hitting it in the stomach. The [BOSS] monster looked nervous and a little scared rather than intimidating.

After a few minutes of watching, I could tell how bad of a fight this was, actually no, how bad of a one-sided training session this was. Angela had the bear on the ground, punching the life out of it, and I swore I saw a tear roll down its face while it was in a fetal position trying to block the continuous attacks from Angela the best it could. I suddenly started feeling bad for the [BOSS] monster, and knew if I said even one word about having mercy, I would probably be next on Angela's 'hit list'.

'I feel bad for whoever her future husband is. One wrong word and it's all over.'
