Snow... All I saw was snow. Nothing but a mountainous snowy area around me for miles. A man in front of me, I couldn't see his face. He was tall and he had on a black robe. He smiled and started to slowly walked towards me. He stopped around 4 feet in front of me and said "You've finally been brought back". A man stood behind him, It was my older brother, he looked... grown-up. He had an evil aura around him. He held up his hand and said something but I couldn't hear, suddenly a huge ball of darkness emerges from his hand and swallows me. I wake up realizing it was only a dream. I didn't realize that this dream was warning me for what's about to come.
I was born in the Noble Family of Inoue. My family gave me the name 'Yuki' meaning " snow ". As a little child, I didn't have much control of my lightning power as my family did, my family was one stage below royalty in this kingdom so we were blessed with power, honor, and rank. I had an older brother named Homura, his power attribute was fire. I also had 2 sisters named Sakura and ichika, Sakura possessed Ice powers and Ichika had rare mercury powers. I had a lightning attribute but I couldn't control it at all making my family make fun of me, abuse me, and traumatized me because of it. Sometimes I would have to go days without eating anything because my family forgets to feed me, and I would starve and pass out. My family hated me.
In this world, we use attributes and levels to determine someone's strength and capabilities. There are many power attributes in this world such as Fire, Water, Ice, Light, Dark, Earth, etc... . The most powerful attribute is time, it has only been seen once before in history making it also the rarest attribute. 500 years ago there was a man named Daichi Takahashi, He was a tall and handsome man and was famous for his time power. Many books about him say he defeated a beast capable of destroying the whole kingdom, therefore, becoming a legend to all people. Everyone loved him. one day without notice He disappeared, news spread all over the kingdom but was nowhere to be found.
My line of family has a history of being war heroes which is the main reason for their wealth and fame. They kept me hidden from the people because they didn't want to be embarrassed by their own child. No one knew about me. They would tell me "Go kill yourself, you're such a failure" or "Why are you even a part of this family", ... harsh things like that. It's like my existence was to be rid of.
At around the age of 5 or 6 is when kids can start controlling their power attributes, but it took me until the age of 13. After realizing I was able to barely control my lightning powers, during the night, I started to steal food from the kitchen, because I was not allowed, and sneak out and head towards a cave deep within a forest around 1.5 miles from our mansion. I tried to practice controlling my lightning and physically training my body, I tried shooting it at rocks but I could even emit enough lightning to shoot 5 meters in front of me. A lightning attribute is one of the rare attributes in our world, my family was excited and happy knowing I had a lightning attribute but after realizing I wasn't able to control it made them mad and had many attempts of getting rid of me, but failed. It was like my family didn't want me to exist anymore
Every night for 3 years, even on a rainy, cold, or hot night's, no matter the condition I would sneak out and go to the same cave and practice for 3 - 5 hours. My powers were increasing but at a slow rate. Then one snowy night, while I was at the cave eating some bread, a tall man approached me in a long white robe, I couldn't see his face, just like my dream. I was scared because I've never had any real human interactions. I had self-trained my combat skills against trees and throwing rocks up in the air so I was prepared for anything physical.
He came up to me and said in a calm gravelly voice "Don't be afraid..., I know who you are."I froze for a short instant. Then I said in a shaky voice "N-No you don't, what do you want from me", I was scared about what he might do, so I was on full guard. He stepped forward towards me while pulling something out of his pocket, my tree and fruit training reflexes came in and I tried to kick him multiple time but something out of the ordinary happened.
