Nordorway's Piano Sonata No.1 'Infinite love'.
The beginning note was raw and soft, gentle and trembling, then followed by a loud and calm tone played by Kiara.
Rose eyes were closed as she remembered her little self back at Nordorway mansion inside the music room playing for her grandfather who sat not too far from her with his eyes closed.
She could almost feel his presence, the picture in her head gave her a sense of familiarity that had her fingers moving to the low tones, portraying her longing for her grandfather.
Suddenly the raw tone beat up as tranquility of the gentle tone became background building harmony before creating it's effect.
The memories of once upon a time dancing under the moonlight feeling young and free.
There was once a story told about this song, infinite love, it spoke of the human main emotion.
Love
How just this single emotion was able to change the world.
(Grandfather, can you tell me about grandma?)
'On the darkest day,
when one had lost it all.
fame, prodigy, pride, heritage.
When a soul cries infinity,
searching further than the sea for a whole.
Gone is the motherland,
dries with blood and lost is the tongue.
Yet you found me through the abby,
and made me an infinity whole.
my motherland smile and gave me back my infinite whole.
For forever you gave me Infinite love.'
Only the blood line of the Nordorway can understand the meaning behind the song. After what felt like an infinite year, Rose's brown eyes were revealed, drinking in the deep silence left behind by the melody of the song along by the memories.
In the midst of it all, a tear was seen sliding down the corners of a golden skin looking so translucent then soon followed by a thunderous applause that grew immensely.
Her eyes opened to gaze warmly at the crowd, somewhere within her felt the presence of years ago and that brought joy to her sound and her love for standing where she was.
And also somewhere amongst the crowd It also brought in the string of fate that searched for the attachment. The one that Fate had already tied three times.
Not long Dywen came rushing towards her despite his old age, he was bubbling with excitement. Pride was the main attraction at that moment.
His reaction brought a smile to Rose, that chased away all her previous anxiety. She realized why she was able to grasp that part of her old self while she played.
The say The family is one of nature's masterpieces, a family is a little world created by love. This family was slowly becoming her muse.
It was such feelings that greatly filled Rose's heart.
"My child, I never knew you were this wonderful with the piano."
Who wouldn't be proud to have a daughter who played so well almost as good as other musicians. In his eyes she was a rare gem.
He smiled over the bashful Rose, a crowd joined them as others added in their admiration.
Gone was their doubts and sarcasm, it was all about computing and simply being the vest, and Rose had succeeded greatly, from being an important consultant to one of the trending firms to having such brilliance in music.
One of the elders who was a retired famous music composer saw a comparative to the past where for a girl of noble consent to be noticed she must acquire a talent worth seeing, greatest than her peers be it just simply dancing, drawing, playing the flute or the famous Chinese instrument Guzheng.
The modern day was different from the past it didn't value music that well which is why we have artist playing any rhyme and making big hits even if it's tuneless, what the youth nowadays are after is fame not talent.
"CEO Bacheman you indeed have a rare gem with you. My dear where did you learn play?"
Rose gazed at the smiling face of the elderly man, she felt his sincerity for music, it reminded her of other muses she had met in her past.
"I had past experiences."
She refused to drive further after that, knowing from past experience that the oldies loved to probe especially towards a child that falls under their category, they consider it a privilege to implant their knowledge to the child and help groom its talent. Luckily Rose's refusal was accepted, they respected her privacy and didn't ask further.
Towards them, they all considered the fact that she was an orphan previously and music have struggle at some point. Dywen was the most affected by her reply. He wish he knew more about this daughter of his but she wasn't willing to disclose and he trusted her enough to not investigate her past. All he wants is to help her heal, he could still see the pain in her eyes.
He sighed deeply in his heart reluctantly releasing a smile.
"Such beautiful piece, it reminded me of a famous army song sang during the 1800's."
Another elderly man commented. He was dressed in a well tailored amarish suit looking tall and dandy despite the white goatee he prostrated. He possessed the aura of noble lord, with his arms tucked behind his almost hunch posture, beside him was an equal beautiful young maiden as lovely as a flower dressed in the traditional chinese red Chuku.
The elder lets out a hearty chuckle before commenting more.
"Not everyone can play this piece so well, Dywen this daughter of your is really rare you have indeed gotten a good one."
But the beautiful maiden beside him who was far younger didn't agree with him. Her red lips expressed dissatisfaction.
"It's just playing the piano, Grandpa. What's so special about it. We have famous artist out there composing popular songs."
She chin were lifted up arrogantly as she expressed herself, saying Rose was no better.
The elder shot her a glare dissatisfied that she would rebuke his taste.
"Little Lana, this piece is special, It's the 'Nordorway's piano sonata No 2 Infinite love', it was played during the time of the first queen Elizabeth of England and said to be composed by an army general to a woman when they eradicated the Indians. If I remember clearly it was also during the time of the Revolutionary back then it was a pledge sang by those Revolutionary."
The Elder looked like he had more to say, but a deep cough from his throat interrupted him, he looked aggrieved while he stared at the young maiden with a red face. Everybody deserve some face, it was clear that the Elder was trying hard to give the young maiden face even thought he wanted to smack her head.
The young maiden Lana still bore her arrogant look, those sharp eyes of hers bore into the flesh of Rose dissecting her piece by piece.
"Grandpa, you said that 'Infinite love' is known to be played by one composer but Miss Rose played a duet with that little girl beside her, could it be that even the so called piano prodigal you claim is nothing but a flake and has no respect for music."
Turning around, she held the elder's hand tightly looking pained over something.
"Grandpa, you might not know this but youths out there are nothing but liars, they claim to know one song but in the end they twist it to make it sound like the same, Grandpa how can a solo be a duet?"
She was filled with glee at the next turn of event to tear down the reputation of Rose.
Her minions were quick to grape her point, adding more due to the burning flame.
"Yes! but why do the little child beside her call her mommy? could this be the rumoured illegitimate child?"
Another added fuel to the fire.
"Yes I also heard that Miss Rose had an affair before marriage and was deserted."
"One really shouldn't feel too much of herself, she train a child without a father who would marry such loose woman."
People like to bring up your past when your present and future look better than theirs.
This was exactly what Rose was afraid of, she never wanted Kiara to be place under such limelight.
It was one thing to be eaten by this group of wolves but it was another thing when it involved her little sunshine.
She shot a fierce look towards Eric that said , 'Stop her or I will'
Rose wasn't a push over, never was and never been. She was being considerate of the Bacheman's if not she would put the bitch in her place.
Such cheap tricks and lousy acting, they were nothing compared to a Veteran like Rose.
