DJ finally finished and carefully pushed himself up, trying not to move too much as he pulled on a shirt. Grimacing, he huffed, then headed to the back to see if they had any pain killers. His bag and bloody clothes he left on the bed. No one else was going to come into the infirm.
Well... that wasn't entirely true.
Emily was walking by and had a feeling about the building.. so she walked inside. Looking around, she didn't see anyone, but she did hear someone shuffling around in the back.
She looked over and saw the bloodied clothing and bag. Curious, Emily walked over to them. She carefully took the bag and opened it, seeing the contents inside, her eyes widened and she closed the bag.
DJ walked out from the back room, an ambrosia lollipop in his hand. However, he froze when he saw Emily next to his bag.
Oh fuck.
He stared her down and took a deep breath. If he didn't panic, she wouldn't be more intrigued. Unless she already looked inside.
Emily looked up from the bag and over at him, raising an eyebrow. She had her torn clothing still on from what she had just left, tear stains from her makeup ran down her cheeks. "This belong to you?" Emily asked, holding the bag up.
DJ stared for a second and took a few steps forward, reaching out to grab it from her. "Yeah, it does."
She moved the bag out of his reach, taking a step back. "You're the guy from the fire pit." Emily said, looking DJ over. Emily let out a laugh, nodding a bit. "I guess I have you to thank for Ryker going soft and backpedaling on me then.. don't I?" She narrowed her eyes at him.
DJ narrowed his eyes a bit and dropped his arms to the side. "Congratulations. You know how to recognize people. Good fucking job." He glared. "Going soft? The fuck is that supposed to mean?"
Emily shrugged with a small smirk on her face. "Guess you'll never know. Because here's the deal Barbie." She said, narrowing her eyes at him, her expression going serious. "You're no longer going to speak to Ryker. Because of you, he has backed out of our deal and that is not exactly the greatest thing."
His eyes widened and he tensed at the nickname, laughing sarcastically. "Oh really? And who's going to stop me? You don't have any sort of authority over me, you twat."
She held up his backpack. "I can have you out of this camp and into custody so fast because of the contents of this bag." Emily said, her expression remaining serious as she stared directly at DJ. "And I know for a fact that is not what you want to happen right about now."
DJ stopped and his shoulders tensed a bit, his jaw setting in place. Taking a deep breath, he narrowed his eyes a bit. "And how exactly are you even going to find out if I do talk to him? I'm sure you have shit to do. Can't just be watching us twenty four seven."
"That's for me to know now isn't it?" She smiled. "Do we have a deal?"
DJ stared at her."...it's the bracelet, isn't it?"
Emily raised an eyebrow, smirking a bit as she shifted her weight. "Do we have a deal?" She asked again, waving his backpack in front of her.
DJ narrowed his eyes and took a deep breath, grabbing his bag. "Fine."
"Beautiful." she said as her smirk deepened some. She turned on her heels, heading towards the exit.
DJ swallowed hard and took a few steps back, taking a deep breath as he hugged the bag to his chest. He was going to be sick. This... This was bad. There was no way for him to even tell Ryker.
