In a small neighborhood, a family of four lives in a two story house. This is the *Redacted* family. Each member of the family was unique. Erin, the father of the family. June, the mother of the family. Danny, the big brother and finally the little brother/waste, Atom. He sat in his room, blood on his lip from his broken nose. It wasn't pleasant. But Atom just sat there in pure silence. No whimper, no crying, no expression of pain, nothing. Just pure silence in the attic. It's ironic actually. He's at the lowest of his life, but he's higher than the rest of his family. His dead irises looking at the wall with a couple of holes in it. He put one of his hands in one of the holes as he felt a smooth sensation on his hand. The smooth sensation crawled up his arm as a snake looked at him. It didn't look like any other snake he's ever seen. It looked robotic in a way. It flicked its tounge a couple of times before crawling around his neck. He felt a peice of string on his neck and looked down. The snake turned smaller and into a necklace. Atom still felt the snake alive. He nodded before the snake bit pure air. It created a, what looks like, a tear in the world. Atom stood up and walked towards the rip. He took a step inside as the rip closed behind him. He felt like he was standing on thin air. But that solid ground slowly turned into a fall. Atom started to free fall. He freaked out a bit before landing on a pillow of snow. He instantly started freezing. All he had on was a thin grey jacket, shorts, socks and tennis shoes. He hugged himself to make himself a little warm. The more and more he walked, the colder he got. Soon, he stopped at what looks like a gravestone. Atom looked around before heading to the tombstone. He knelt down and brushed some snow off of the grave. The grave read "Summer Rose."
Atom: Summer Rose?
Atom looked around again and down the cliff.
Atom: Who would make a grave in the woods and at the end of a cliff?
Many questions indeed. The snake reacted as it hissed in aggression. Atom looked at the snake as it looked to his left. Atom looked to where the snake looked as he saw a girl that looked to be about his age. Maybe younger. But right now he needed to hide. He hid in a small bush near a thick patch of trees. The girl knelt down at the grave with her cape blowing. After a while she walked off. Atom followed her through the brushes and vegetation of the forest. Atom saw her stop as he hid behind a tree. Good thing of his skinny figure from him starving from the lack of food. He saw black figures that resembled werewolves in a way. All of the things eyes dart over to the girl and growled. They rushed her as three of them pounced. But she turned into rose petals. He looked up and saw her in the air. She then pulled out some sort of weapon and shot one of the wolves heads clean off. She then jumped over another one and shot it in the head. She also got some speed by using the kick of the weapon as mobility and shot one in the torso. She rolled to the side as another wolf tried to smack her, but she shot before the thing attacked. She back rolled out of the way and turned her gun into a scythe. Atom was amazed by the girls fighting prowess. One of the alphas ran at her, but trapped it with her scythe. The thing looked at her menacingly. She smirked and pulled the trigger to her sniper, making it kick back and sever it in half. She then cocked her sniper while spinning the scythe and planted it to the ground. She shot her gun while it was planted so she could have a stable shot at the beasts. One of the wolves made it to her, but she jumped over the attack and shot the beast in mid air. She stuck her scythe on the ground again, but landed on her scythe this time. There was a horde of those things coming.
Atom: Damnit, I got to help her.
He looked at the girl as she dodged one of the beasts and shot her scythe again, killing one of the beasts and kicking the one she dodged. She then did a combo on one cutting its legs off and killing the one behind her. One tried to jump her after she was done, but she grabbed it by the neck with her scythe and shot her sniper using the velocity to cut its head off. She then dodged to the right and hit one of them with the blunt side. But she did that to stun it while she placed her scythe on its torso. She shot her sniper, killing one behind it while cutting it in half. The upper half of the body hit one of its friends, knocking it down. She then backflipped twice out of the way of attacks. She then charged at a lonely one cutting its arm off. She then sliced its torso then cut its legs off.
Atom: These poor bastards don't stand a chance.
She then grabbed one of the others and got on top of it. She shot her gun severing its head while she got air time. One jumped at her in the air, but she sliced it and shot it dead. She stayed in the air with another shot of the gun as she sliced another one killing it. But right before she landed, one of the beasts hit her, but she blocked it and got knocked back. She looked at the horde and reloaded her weapon and cocked it. She shot behind her getting some speed in killing those things left and right. All Atom could see was limbs flying from those poor things. She ended it by shooting the last one and flipping backwards and did a pose. But she didn't know she missed one. Atom saw this and jumped in front of the claw attack.
Atom: Gah!
Atom flew back a little as the girl saw this. She flipped her scythe a couple of times hitting the thing and ended with a shot to the brain. She put her weapon away and knelt next to Atom.
Girl: You saved me.
Atom put his hand on his wound that was bleeding profusely.
Atom: Well, I couldn't let a cool girl like you get hurt right?
She smiled and hoisted him up while she put his arm around her neck.
Atom: This hurts a little.
Girl: Don't worry, my dad can patch you up.
Atom: You sure? I can always go to a hospital.
Girl: There isn't a hospital over 32 miles.
Atom: Well, that's unfortunate.
Girl: What's your name?
Atom: Atom, what's yours?
Ruby: Ruby Rose. By the way, I like your necklace.
Atom: Thanks, its really special.
They arrived at a cabin. Its a nice two story cabin. Looks cozy. Ruby opened the door and helped Atom inside.
Ruby: Dad! I need your help!
I tall man with short blonde hair runs into the living room. He sees Atom.
Man: Ruby, who's this?
Ruby: He saved my life! Help him!
The man ran into the bathroom and got out a first aid kit. He took off Atom's shirt and looked at the three big gashes in his stomach. He looked at Atom in the eyes.
Man: I need you to bite on this while I clean and stitch it up.
He handed Atom a peice of cloth to bite on. Atom put it in his mouth.
Ruby: You can hold my hand if you want.
Atom instantly took hold of her hand. She looked at his nose. It was still broken. The man saw this and sighed.
Man: Okay this was a beowolf.
He says while pointing it Atom's gash wounds.
Man: But what happened to that.
He said while pointing at his nose. Atom sat there quietly until he answered.
Atom: My father.
