Mage Classes

Class: A label used to explain what kind of Magic a Mage wields. The term can also be used when labeling different kinds of Warriors.

Subclass: A Mage's chosen speciality which may or may not relate to the type of Magic they wield. For example a Mage with the Stealth Class may have a Subclass of Assassin or Thief, or they could choose something entirely unrelated, like a Subclass of Chef.

Hidden Class: An undiscovered combination of Class, Subclass, and Species, which grants a unique Ability or power.

Sword: Has the Ability to use Magic that coincides with the Sword, or any similar Weapon, to a greater degree than other Mages. Weighted toward Attack Spells, Metal Affinity, and Weapon Buffs.

Bow: Has the Ability to use Magic that coincides with the Bow, or similar Weapon types, to a greater degree than other Mages. Weighted Toward Attack Spells, Earth Affinity, and Long-Range Spells.

Spear: Has the Ability to wield Magic that coincides with the Spear, or any similar Weapon, to a greater degree than other Mages. Weighted toward Attack Spells, Lightening Affinity, and Combat Buffs.

Shield: Has the Ability to use Magic that coincides with the Shield, or any similar Weapon, to a greater degree than other Mages. Weighted toward defense Spells, Air Affinity, and Armor Buffs.

Healer: Has the Ability to use Magic that coincides with Healing, or anything similar, to a greater degree than other Mages. Weighted toward defense Spells, Life Affinity, and Party Buffs.

Stealth: has the Ability to use Magic that coincides with Stealth, or anything similar, to a greater degree than other Mages. Weighted toward Attack Spells, Fire Affinity, and Accessory Buffs.

Summoning: Has the Ability to use Magic that coincides with Summoning, or anything similar, to a greater degree than other Mages. Weighted toward Defense Spells, Air Affinity, and Item Buffs.

Neutral: Has the Ability to use Neutral Magic, or anything similar, to a greater degree than other Mages. Weighted toward Support Spells, Plasma Affinity, and Support Buffs.

Special: Has a unique Ability with Magic that doesn't coincide with any of the other Classes. May include those with Death Affinity.
