Blinking up at the hospital ceiling Noah tried to focus on the system that had just kicked him out of his own head. Closing his eyes again for a moment he saw a small screen.

Noah grimaced at the list. 'Confessing love and going on a date? That's ridiculous!' But the second task was already completed. Trying to open the task all he could see was the 5 ex gained and an option to distribute the two points gained from completing it. Figuring it was a freebie for starting the system, even though that should have been the first task in that case, Noah tried to figure where he should put the points.
'What even is aura? Mana? Does that mean I can do magic?' Noah thought to himself before L's voice rang out in his head.
"Aura is more about how others perceive you. Anything from your ability to be taken seriously to having people fall in love at first glance. Mana allows for a few things like using skills. As you don't have any skills yet the only thing your mana can do right now is allow you to access your inventory."
'Inventory?' Noah questioned in his thoughts.
"More or less it is like a video game inventory except open an inter dimensional rift would take one mana point so currently you could only open it once every ten minutes. At higher levels you will regain your mana points slightly faster," L responded. "The points will come easily for a while so while this is important don't spend too long thinking about it."
Noah sighed to himself before deciding that a point should go to health, he was in the hospital after all, and another one to mana. He had played video games before where health and mana were important and hoped that the skills he unlocked would be more useful later on. With that Noah opens his eyes once more and somehow knew that the entire exchange with L and exchanging points after he first woke up took but a second and would also be nearly timeless in the future as well.
Turning his head slightly he saw Jason sitting back in the chair next to him looking quite startled.
