Maria wrapped her hand around herself.
Tears pooled in her eyes.
" What kind of father are you? " She said shakily.
She felt another presence in the corridor. She looked up and saw Samuel, standing at the door that led to the backyard, looking at her.
Their eyes locked and they kept staring at each other before Samuel gave a small smile and opened the door gesturing her to follow him.
Her mind screamed to not go, to not get in whatever this was. But she wanted a distraction.
Her feet moved and she followed his steps arriving at her mother's grave.
The tears spilled down and she was pulled into a back-hug with one hand, it rubbing her side soothingly.
" You want to talk? " Samuel asked close to her ear in a whisper.
She whimpered. The deep and calm voice pleasing to her ears.
She meekly nodded.
" Dad apologised for trying to force me. "
" So. Isn't that a good thing? " Samuel asked furrowing his eyebrows.
