Daniel quickly recalls having seen things similar to this 'guide' in some rather cliché stories seen across the internet, typically called systems, giving him a general idea of what to expect from the ring on his finger.
Reading the words that appear infront of him rather than bothering to listen to the robotic voice, Daniel reads the lines of floating white text infront of his eyes.
[Welcome, Agent. Due to your lacking soul control, please use simple verbal commands such as 'Up' 'Down' 'Select' 'Confirm' to navigate the interface]

Daniel patiently sits through the initialization without much boredom, curious to see what his so called 'talent' had won him.
After a few seconds, Daniel's view is filled with a few lines of white text, organized in vertical lines.

Glancing over the lines, Daniel thinks for a few moments before noting the top option glowing more than the others and speaking.
"Down"
The 'tutorial' option begins to glow in place of the top line.

With the 'Customize guide' option glowing, Daniel speaks with curiosity.
"Select"
[Open guide customization - Confirm?]
"Confirm"
The lines of text before his eyes, accompanied by a droll robotic voice begin to be replaced with new lines of text.
[Guide navigation : Automatic/Soul]
[Guide voice : Base]
[Guide activation command : Open Guide]
[Guide text colour : White]
With a confused look on his face at the extensive 'customization options' from the strange 'guide' Daniel starts scrolling through the options for guide navigation, eventually trying out a new form of navigation.
[Guide navigation changed to Verbal selection]
With all of the few options tested, Daniel settles on a different form of verbal navigation, allowing him to simply speak the name of what he wants to select, rather than navigate using 'up' 'down' and the like.
"Guide, Change voice to : Base (Female)"
Hearing the new, robotic female voice of the guide, Daniel nods; Though still grating on the ears, the female version of the robotic voice is a little more bearable.
Taking a moment to think, Daniel ponders what to change the activation code to, his terminal uniqueness compelling him to change the strange guide to fit himself.
'Agent Samson, huh?'
Daniel vaguely recalls the stories from which Samson comes, taking a second to think before speaking with a smile.
"I've got it"
"Guide, change guide activation command to : Deliliah"
Not bothering to change the text colour for the moment, Daniel navigates back through the guide.
"Delilah, return to selections"
Daniel's eyes are greeted with the same lines of text from before

Once again, after a few seconds of waiting, Daniel is greeted with more lines of text, accompanied by the female robotic voice speaking in as explanatory of a tone as it can muster.
[Welcome to the guide, The fact that you are reading this means that I have selected you as the first of a small handful of agents.]
[These agents are one for each of the four primary means to power : Own, Borrowed, Spirit; and Created]
[These have been created with the purpose of gaining unparalleled mastery within each of the specializations, before giving the a segment of the public access to this information in order to prepare humanity for any oncoming dangers]
[In particular, This guide is related to Own power, the power cultivated within ones own body]
[Once this tutorial explanation is finished, the 'tutorial' segment of the selections will be replaced with the three main functions of the guide:]
[Exchange]
[Skill selection]
[Missions]
[Exchange is a place in which other agents may list items and information for which they wish to gain contribution points for, the currency used within the guide, and will allow other agents to attain rare objects and materials in exchange for these points]
[Skill selection is the core to each particular guide, Showing both the guides list of known abilities, attainable through contribution points, aswell as the each of the guides assessments of skills developed and/or modified by the agent]
[Missions are a selection of milestones set by the creator that, once completed, will grant a selection of both contribution points, aswell as information, and items; Also found in missions will be any bounties set by other agents]
[Tutorial finished- Returning to selections]
Once again, the selections menu appears infront of Daniel, though this time with three new additions in place of the 'tutorial' option, as expected

Leaving the selections to hover infront of his eyes, Daniel takes a moment to think on the information given to him by the so called 'tutorial'.
"Well it's similar to the 'systems' within stories I've seen, though rather than created by some unfathomable deity, It seems to be created to be much more reasonable; with items coming from other so called 'agents' rather than from thin air, aswell as rewards coming in the form of information rather than 'level ups' and such"
As his thoughts brush past the creator of the Guide, Daniel can only really think of one person possible that could be responsible, the wax-masked man, of course.
"It sounds Like I'm the first of these so called 'Agents' to be appointed, I wonder if the masked man is also listed within the guide?"
Daniel mumbles to himself before speaking up once again
"Delilah, Open 'Active agents'"
[Opening active agents]
Almost instantly, Daniel sees a list of names appear before him
[Agents:]
[Agent Samson - Status: Active]
[Agent Icarus - Status: Active]
Daniel smiles to himself as he assumes his hunch to be correct, the wax mask the man wore matching the origin of the code name.
"Icarus, eh?"
