Looking across the table at his three friends, Daniel takes a moment to sigh with relief, glad to have them believe him in what he believes to be an important time.
"Thanks- I genuinely believe that 'Savior' is telling the truth about this 'breaking' and things will be more dangerous if we act alone."
About to continue explaining himself, Daniel pauses as he sees Kim intends to say something.
"Look, Dan- Even if we believe you, Surely we should just take refuge with the authorities if what he says does happen, monsters appearing all over doesn't seem like something we can deal with"
Daniel glances at Kim before thinking about what to say in response, speaking up after a few seconds.
"Look- If this 'mana' stuff, or whatever its called does act as a signal blocker, its more than likely that people will take advantage of the lack of communication to attack people, leaving law enforcement with more to deal with than protecting a few people; Not to mention if monsters do start appearing all over, they'll be needed elsewhere."
Kim furrows her brow at Daniel's response, Leading Daniel to elaborate.
"All I'm trying to say, is that I don't feel like dying anytime soon, and with all of the unknowns popping up, working as a group will be safer, if this 'breaking' actually happens."
Jake doesn't hesitate to add his own thoughts to the conversation, seemingly deep in thought before speaking slowly.
"Okay, So if you really believe this is going to happen in five days, I can go along with this planning; Best case we all look silly in a few weeks time, Worst case we actually have to follow through the plans. should we think of a meeting point incase phones don't work?"
Kim is brought out of her thoughts by Jake speaking, chiming in a suggestion.
"Sure- Why don't we just meet here?"
Though as Daniel hears that, Having already thought over things such as designated meeting points, he shoots her idea down without hesitation.
"No- It can't be somewhere obvious, Just to be safe, it should be somewhere fairly obscure"
Aaron echoes Daniel's opinion rather quickly, nodding as he speaks.
"I agree- This is potentially going to be a very turbulent few days, If people don't have to fear the law thanks to a lack of communication, we shouldn't tempt fate"
Jake and Kim both think for a fraction of a second, before nodding with agreement.
Daniel takes this opportunity to offer a suggestion.
"We should meet somewhere an equal distance from each of our houses, That way if one of us is a decent bit late, we know that something may have happened to them-"
Aaron offers a rather obvious location for consideration.
"How about Kyle's place? He lives alone at the moment- and its almost the same distance from each of our houses"
At which Jake asks a fairly valid question, still maintaining the appearance of only humoring Daniel's concerns, not truly as concerned as Aaron and Daniel.
"And what about our families? Not all of us live alone like Kyle"
Daniel answers in an explanatory tone.
"Just bring them along too- If something as major as this 'breaking' actually happens, no doubt you'll be able to convince them to move somewhere safer"
"Sure- But you just said that we might be in danger"
Jake continues with his skepticism, prompting Aaron to chuckle.
"Haha- If we're going to get Kyle on board, he'll have weapons to spare"
Daniel looks over at his friends as they ponder Aaron's words; Jake wears a frown, while Kim looks deep in thought for a moment before her face twists with confusion, throwing a look at Jake.
"Are we really considering this? This sounds incredibly silly"
To which Jake seems to find some clarity, speaking to both Daniel and Aaron apologetically.
"Kim's right, I think that god forbid this does happen, Hunkering down at home will be the safest option"
Daniel is filled with disappointment at himself, having failed to convince his friends of what he thinks to be a safer plan, albeit likely influenced somewhat by movies.
"Okay- Stay safe, both of you"
He can only wish them luck as he gets up to leave the classroom, Noticing Aaron giving the two of them a curt smile before getting up to follow Daniel out of the room.
As they close the door behind them, exiting the classroom, The shrill tone of the start of school bell ringing hits Daniel's ears, though he's not all that bothered, he hadn't intended to go to any classes that day anyways.
Hearing Aaron start to speak up, Daniel glances around to see if there is anyone nearby that could be listening, before turning his attention listening.
"That's what you were so eager to speak to them about? How can you be so sure that that 'Savior' is telling the truth? How would he know that?"
Pausing to break down what Aaron said, It takes Daniel a couple seconds to respond.
"Look- they're my friends, I want to make sure they're safe, And I think hes telling the truth because I've been to another so-called 'fracture'- as for how he knows about the future, maybe its something to do with mana in the air?"
As Daniel mentions the other 'fracture' Aaron's face is covered with a questioning look.
"Right, you said that earlier, When did you meet him, Why would he take you in particular to this 'fracture'?"
"Earlier yesterday, It was as you said- he was 'testing' people what could activate runes, The assaults you heard about we're that, probably; He brought me to the other 'fracture' to test me."
"And, Did you pass the test?"
"Uh, Yeah- You're believing me just like that?"
"Of course- your hands are all f*cked up, What else could cause that in just one day aside from a magical fight in another dimension. What did you get for passing his 'test'?"
"Well- my hands weren't caused by the test, but thanks for trusting me. He gave me this ring-"
Daniel gestures to the pristine looking copper band on his finger, continuing to speak as he does
"I can explain the whole thing to you later, but I'd rather a place that wasn't crowded with gossip-prone students."
"Fair enough. So what's the next part of this plan of yours?"
"Well, Do you know where Kyle's trip is?"
"Uh, yeah- Its quite the way away, Its some biology trip to the zoo"
"Okay- Are you gonna go to class or come with?"
"You're going now?"
"Well, yes- A few days of school seems less important than the apocalypse"
Aaron chuckles as Daniel speaks, Nodding with a smile.
"Lets get going then, Should we take the bus?"

Kyle is sitting outside of an animal enclosure, looking bored as he listens to some old man standing next to his class talk about apes.
*Buzz*
Feeling his phone buzz in his back pocket, he doesn't bother to check if anyone is looking at his as he checks the message.
He looks a tad confused as he sees a message from Daniel, not having heard from him personally in a long while. Opening the message, it reads:
'Kyle- Meet us at the front gate of the zoo'
Further confusion builds on Kyle's face
'Us???' 'At the zoo???' 'What is Daniel on about?'
Placing his phone in his back pocket once again, Kyle excuses himself to go to the bathroom before navigating his way to the front gate of the zoo, his eyes widening as he sees two of his friends not supposed to be on the school trip, Aaron and Daniel, standing at the gate, both of them giving him a wave.
Making his way over to his two friends, Kyle takes a band allowing him to gain re-entry into the zoo at the entrance before leaving the place in order to speak to Aaron and Daniel.
"What on earth are you two doing here? You're not on this trip are you?"

Sitting opposite his friends Aaron and Daniel at a local fast-food venue, the two of them having spend the last half hour explaining to him their plan, Kyle's eyes slowly fill with a manic excitement.
"Of course those two aren't going to go along with your plan."
Kyle speaks matter-of-factly, smiling at the fact that he wasn't the only one in their group of friends to have taken the 'Savior's words seriously.
It doesn't take him long before he agrees to their plan wholeheartedly, the offer of forgoing school boredom with potentially fighting monsters and slinging spells too enticing for him to even bother to think on it.
"I'm in, What do I need to do?"
