I climbed over another sand dune in agony. The sun was rising, and it gleamed down on our tired faces. Sweat dripped from my forehead onto my lower lip. I used the sleeve of the shirt I took off to wipe the sweat off of my face and peered over the sand dune.
My heart skipped what felt like four beats.
I could see grass in the distance.
"Look!" Kayla said, her voice scratchy.
"Yeah. Let's get out of here." The girl said, walking calmly past me and toward the grass. I could see sweat drip from her face onto the sand, and I began to feel bad for her.
"You still aren't going to take off that visor or armor? That is why you're sweating so much." I said.
"And get shirtless like you? No thanks." She said, laughing slightly. She continued until we all reached the grass.
Kayla and I collapsed onto the grass, which was cool from the shade of a nearby tree.
The girl finally took off her helmet/visor.
Her wisteria-colored hair and eyes were so pretty. She turned and looked at us with a slight smile. She had a scar on her lower left cheek, but other than that, her face looked perfect.
The girl looked away again and threw her visor and armor onto the grass. Underneath that, she was wearing a dark blue sweatshirt with black leggings.
"Ah. I almost forgot. My name is Kyo Momichi."

Moraco peacefully played his piano while someone sat in the shadows.
"It's time for you to return to camp I'd say," he said with a smirk, nothing interrupting his playing.
The figure, unspeaking, left.
Imode groaned on the floor.
"So you're still alive?" he said, his playing stopping. "You really are stubborn, aren't you."
He stepped on her wrist, to which she grunted, unable to let out an audible scream.
"You... bastard..." Imode got out, trying her best to wriggle away.
"Now now, play nice," Maraco said, twisting his foot around, inflicting additional pain. Imode had no choice but shriek, he covered her mouth with a quick motion and smiled.
"Don't be too loud, we wouldn't want anyone finding you like this." He said, continuing with his foot as she tried to shriek more.
There was a knock and Moraco stopped, he pulled out some tape and taped Imode's mouth shut. He gently opened the door and peeked out.
"Hey Vice President Moraco, is Imode here?" A student from camp asked.
"Not at the moment. No." Moraco sighed.
"I see. When you see her, please relay this to her. Cal and Kayla were taken by the police, and they were taken somewhere outside of the gates, when they came back... Kayla and Cal weren't with them."
Moraco sat quietly.
"I see. I will definitely tell her when I see her next. Thank you." He told the student, who turned and left quickly.
He closed the door slowly.
"You hear that... my plan worked just fine. Cal should no longer interfere, and sadly we had to even take Kayla, despite that not being the plan, they won't last too long out there."
Imode attempted to curse and yell at him, but the tape restricted her voice.

"She's... been hurt." The student said, reporting to Instructor Miko. "When I approached the door, I heard him talking to someone and telling them to keep quiet... I heard a muffled shriek..."
"So Vice President Moraco was up to something sinister..." Miko acknowledged. "Our first task is to go out and find Kayla and Calibrum, then we can make our move toward the town hall in the small town."
"But Miko, sir! Imode will be killed by then-"
"No. She won't. Imode's tough, and he needs her alive. He may have tried to kill her, but he must have realized he needed her to sign some paperwork... otherwise he wouldn't be authorized to be the President." Miko said, boldly, "She'll be just fine."

"Kyo is such a pretty name!" Kayla said, jolting upward onto her feet, sending loose grass everywhere. Kyo smiled and pointed to Cal.
"So, from what I've heard... you are a half-half?" Kyo asked, seemingly not remembering the fight with the mole creature earlier.
"Yeah... I guess." Cal said, coursing his hand through the grass. The wind took to the loose pieces and they drifted away.
"Wow. That's really cool!" She said. At this point, everyone didn't see him as having a disability as he thought they would, but they all respected and cared for him. He felt better not feeling... different.
"Thank you... it means a lot to me." He said, slightly blushing a little.
"As if I haven't told you how cool it was all this time?" Kayla said, either jealous or joking around.
"We should continue to the North. We will pass through some smaller towns, but we'll make it to Kioka City in no time at all."
Cal and Kayla smiled at her positively and they all began moving once more. It was time for revenge. It was time to...
Stop Moraco for good.
