Alexia took a seat as she watched every other person run all over the place trying to get things fixed. She didn't have to do anything because she was at the center of it all.
Aaron saw his daughter idle and he decided to approach her. It was now or never. He took a seat beside her and cleared his throat.
"Hey Daddy," Alexia greeted.
"Is it just me or you're growing up too fast?" Aaron asked.
Alexia only smiled. "Every child has to grow up someday daddy," Alexia told her father.
Her father smiled back at her but Alexia sensed there was more on his mind. So she waited for him to speak.
"Lexi, how do you know Malia?" He finally asked.
Alexia stopped and thought about it. She only knew her through her dream from that day yet she felt as if she had known her for ages. She didn't know how she was going to explain the connection she felt for Malia to her father but she chose to start at the beginning of the story.
