Feeling the cold air brush against my cheeks I flinched at the low temperature squeezing my eyes shut. My hands were balled into fists inside the pockets of my jacket, hunching further into it seeking warmth the fog of my breath was easily noticeable thanks to the cold, morning air.
All the juniors and seniors stood outside the school waiting for the bus to arrive. Next to them was their carefully packed luggage. Looking up I could see that I was not the only one who was cold as the others stood with their backs hunched and hands pocketed.
Why the hell did we have to come to school so freaking early? Not even the sun was up and yet here we were wide awake. Sighing I turned to my surroundings in hopes of catching a glimpse of one of my friends. Feeling a hand on my shoulder I turned around only to be disappointed with who it was.
"You don't have to make it so obvious that you're disappointed, ya know?"
