Gasping at the sight of the figure sprawled on the floor my brows furrowed in both anger and shock. I was pleased with the fact that my intuition was right. Gazing down at the unconscious individual her chestnut brown hair covered half her face but I could easily tell who it was.
"Wh-What happened, did you get them?"
Luke asked with a shaky voice peeking around the corner with only the top half of his face and bits of his fingers visible. With one hand on my hip and the other lifting the bat back onto my shoulder I leaned to one side.
"Yeah, I got 'em alright. Right in the kisser"
Heaving a sigh of relief he finally came out of his hiding place and into the kitchen. Standing next to me he looked down at the person on the floor.
"Who is she?"
He asked confused. Whipping my head around to look at him I raised a frustrated brow.
"You mean you don't recognise her?"
