Chapter 1 - Introduction

All the names mentioned in this work of art is completely fictitious and does not intend to hurt anyone.

Story 01: My Darling

Hola. And, welcome to my world. Which is for the most part boring and monotonous. You know how it is. A boy who is not so good at studies graduates SSC (10th grade) with average percentage and as a result joins a normal; not so famous college with Commerce. Hence, tired from numbers. On the first day, I learned Debit what comes in and Credit what goes out. At first, I thought I may go through the five years with ease but it's been only one semester since I've joined here, and am so frustrated. I never knew it would be so hard. And they say 12th grade is harder so I don't know what to do now. Whether regret all the time I wasted in bunking around last year or kill myself for deciding upon taking Commerce.

You may get me now. And if you haven't, well, I am here to do that. I am as tall as an 11th-grade kid should be with absolutely no good muscled body; just a flat stomach. And to top that, I am so weak, I cannot ever win a hand wrestling match. I am no good looking too. I have a short face with a due jawline so therefore a double chin, brown in color, black eyes, straight thin nose, thin pink lips, and long black hair. I have a little sister in 9th grade named Diksha Sharma. Oh, pardon! My name is Romit Sharma. Have you ever heard of Romit? I am sure you haven't. My dad is a cashier and my mom is a housewife.

So yeah as I told you, my life is for the most part boring and monotonous. Except, I have a secret which isn't a normal secret. No, no! I have a relationship; wait can I call it a relationship? I don't think so. An understanding, maybe? Oh, do hell with it! I and Rokesh Arora give each other pleasure!

Story 2: Love

Ok. It has happened. Finally! We've finally expressed our love for one another. He did it first but in front of the entire club? On DJ night? I must say that was pretty audacious of him to take that mic from the DJ and give his speech. That beautiful, heart-warming speech. I mean who wouldn't melt away at his speech? And I had to melt away and forgive him, okay! No matter how stupid of him was to just choose his friends over me but saying I love you in front of an entire crowd takes balls man! And here I thought he wanted to keep it a secret. Silly of me!

Of course, I joined him on the stage! And hugged tightly. But he had something different going on in his mind. That notorious little devil! He broke the hug, completely surprising me, and just smashed his lips on mine. I rose my brows at this but slowly started enjoying this. I heard many shouting abusive words and calling us names. But I heard some people cheering too. And after that, when we stopped our kiss and just hugged again, I heard people clapping. But we didn't care about the crowd. We were just involved at this moment, in each other. And not give a shit about others.

I am sure girls would be in tears once they saw Jayden kiss me. They would've been still okay if he kissed some girl because there still might be some chance for them but he kissed a boy. Me! Jacob! But hey, I am not complaining. When we joined the crowd, our friends were supportive; surprisingly but not so much. Everyone in our friend circle watches Netflix series so I think it helped. Some even teased. But I noticed many people eyed us so I guess they would cause a problem. But it's Jayden and me. There's nothing we couldn't tackle. And if he and I are gonna face consequences for the little moment we had up there, then bring it on!

Story 3: You

First day of college. Every Indian kid dream of it. At least those kids who wear those dull uniforms for 10 complete years do. My dull uniform was off-white half sleeves shirt and brown shorts which after 4th grade, changed to brown trousers. I dreamt of college since 5th grade. Because till 4th grade, my beautiful white legs were visible. But when those trousers entered my life, oh!

But by no means do I say that school sucks. No. If we see, school is the 10 years of life where there are no boundaries to anything. We can have endless fun if we study. Which in my case, wasn't a problem. You may've heard people ranting about the fun they had in their school years. But I've lived it. With my friends. My parents had no problem with it since I was good at studies. I and my friends had the kind of fun, you'd never guess. I once poured ink in our Marathi teacher's pouch. Her blue hand had us laughing for days. Riyaz Khan i.e. I was the most notorious child in every teacher's mind. Seriously, those days were the best time I will ever have, I know.

I didn't just wait for college to be out of the dull uniform. I also knew whatever happening in your life will be decided in those five years of college. And to become CEO of any famous company, I have to just work hard. And unlike others to work hard, I was excited. But after the first day ended, something happened which I dreaded the most. I found a boy named Ahmed Patel cute. Not this again...

Story 4: Him in a Shirt

When I heard a boy from the Dharavi named Deep was hired to work at our house, can't say I was happy. I was furious. I mean in our bungalow, when there could easily be a maid for cleaning purposes, to hire a boy around my age to clean my house was something just out of the question. He should be completing his studies since he is my age. So why work as a maid? His father, who is our driver is well paid so why is the need for this?

When I was about to leave for college, I noticed the boy was inside, but I didn't bother to see his frontal side. I just left him by seeing only his dorsal side. I spent my day at college with my friends and my girlfriend Ariana. She is so beautiful and we are just adorable. I don't say it. Everyone does. Harsh and Ariana are the example of the cutest couple for everyone in my college. And she is just lovely.

Who likes someone interrupting their sweet, easy-going life? No one, right? I don't. When I came from college, I straight headed to my room and collided with my bed as I had an exhausting day. But little did I know the worst was yet to come. I heard a knock and thinking it would be either my mom or any of my siblings, I said to come in. But I heard a voice quite different. It was a voice I never heard before. When I looked at the person standing at my doorstep, my head blew off. Because it was the boy. And I don't know for what reason, I covered the little exposed waist of mine; in shame! And the boy was so handsome. I mean he had naturally brown hair and was white. Other than that, everything was normal. But he had that glow on his face which made him even cuter. Wait, cuter? And he wore a shirt. Loose light blue shirt with his dark green shorts. He was looking majestic and now I was angry at his arrival but not only for his locality but for something I am hoping not to happen.

Story 5: Cupid's Arrow

I never hoped that movies like Kissing Booth 2 or To All the Boys: P.S I Still Love You will happen in real life. And that I would be a part of it. Never, I say. And I didn't see it coming. I mean I knew I was walking onto something when I had two romantic dreams each one for Amar and Aman but I didn't take it seriously. But who knew I was soon going to be a part of a fucking triangle?!

All of it started from the first day, itself. I mean not the triangle stuff and all but we got to be pretty close friends. After that, soon we three were part of Romit, Rokesh, Jayden, Jacob, Ahmed, Riyaz, Harsh, Ariana, Preity, Asma, Maya, and some other people's friend circle. But we three were a group of our own. A tight one, not to forget.

The first semester was so fun, I mean everyone in our friend circle had a unique personality. Some of them were nerdy, some brave, some rowdy and notorious, or some clumsy and silly like me, Luvraj. You know, Aman always calls me Luv and Amar always calls me Raj. I liked it. We three could be like the hangover trio or ZNMD trio but it took no time for our group to collapse.
