Arthur contemplated how to proceed with things here. Mason did not have any good intention, even a toddler can see that. But Arthur also did not feel like letting him go.

Mason immediately went to find this expert, leaving behind Arthur and one of his followers. He probably left his helper here so that he can keep an eye on Arthur. He was probably afraid thinking that Arthur may run away from here.
Meanwhile, Arthur went to buy an egg from the counter. In the counter, there are two people in charge. One is a young teenage boy and the other is an hunched back old man. The young boy is the one mostly operating the counter, on the other hand the old hunched back man was laid down in a chair and he rested there quietly.
"Excuse me, I want to buy an egg for the gamble? Please help me with this." Arthur asked the boy in the counter politely.
" First time here?"
"Umm, yeah. How do you know?"
"Well, your question just gave you away? Normally, regular customer ask for the beast egg catalogue first. But you asked for egg directly. So I thought you are new here and I was right."
"Oh, is that so? But what is a beast egg catalogue? I have never heard of it."
"Beast egg catalogue is a record book of the all various types of beast egg we have in our possession. It helps our customer to get an idea of the eggs and helps them choose a good egg. We update it twice a month. "
"Oh, that's very impressive. Can I take a look too?"
"Yes, wait here. I will bring it to you."
After a few seconds, the boy returned with a thick and large book. Arthur was surprised to see the book. Before today he never thought that he will see a book of this dimensions at all.
"This is Beast egg catalogue! It's really quite a book. Just look at it's size. So gigantic. " Arthur exclaimed in surprised tone.
"Yes, you can check to see what kind of egg you will choose. Once you decide on a egg, we will give you a price. But the price will depend on us and we might ask for excessive price for just a normal chicken egg. But if you want to bet here and win, you have to accept that price. Understand?"
The teenage boy spoke to Arthur without any fear. It can be deduced from this situation that they are not afraid of retaliation from angry customers. That means they have the means to save their own skin.
Arthur opened the book and glanced through the pages. There were various animal species. So many different beast and different kind of eggs were gathered here in this book. From normal animal to magic beast, every kind of animal eggs were here.
For his first bet, Arthur chose a bird egg. Cabanis's bulbul, is a species of songbird in the bulbul family. Arthur chose this normal bird for his first bet.
"Hmm, A Songbird. That is a great choice for a first time experience. The price will be 100 Blue coloured spirit stone. "

Arthur let out a sigh and made payment. After getting the payment, the teenager went back to the room behind and came back after a few minutes with a small fist sized artificial bird nest.
